After a long long last year, a special relationship has evolved and emerged as a true result of being able to love and respect one other . The joy that we can offer we were able to share as a "couple!" This is huge and a great commitment and feeling. We booked the couples massage here at Salt where you get a massage in a room together. It's really tranquil. The best of all things . We get to destress together and get rid of unwarranted and unnecessary distractions. You can think after a real session of self care. It reopens your eyes and refocuses the self. When the self is present it's able to be kind and calm and spread more hope and positivity to others. Let your light shine and be happy. You need to keep your self care up. This was so relaxing and refreshing. The peace and quiet that my mind felt and let old go . What happened last week it's all gone. New energy and life ! Here we go. Thank you to the staff here you were amazing and oh so busy . You handle the work and pressure so well. The team is amazing. Southpoint is remodeling for the next three months, so I took the plunge and booked here for my hair color and cut. They do offer a 20% discount to locals, so that helps with the cost. I am pretty sure I will be back now...plus Dena is just terrific!!!

Came here for the first time because of their black Friday week deal (buy one get one free spa…read moreamenities pass). For me, this is the only way these spa amenities are worth it. I got two passes for $50, so $25 per pass, which is reasonable, but if the deal wasn't going on, $50 is way too much for day usage of a shower, sauna, steam room, hot tub, cold tub, gym, and some light snacks. Now, I will say the facilities are nice and actually in working condition, unlike the facilities at the Green Valley Ranch spa, but the grounds were also a lot smaller and didn't include the use of the pool, though maybe that's just because it was closed due to it being winter (the Green Valley Ranch spa has it's own private pool as well as a hot tub which both sexes can use). The hot tub was hot but not unbearable as was the cold tub. Don't get it confused with a cold plunge, as it didn't get anywhere near as cold as one of those gets, but it was still very nice and a good way to cool down from the incredibly hot steam room. The men's area was spotless and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The men's snack area included complimentary water, chocolate covered blueberries, pretzels, granola, tea, and two juices. I will be coming back here to utilize my other pass but I don't think I would ever pay the full $50 to come here.

Because of…read morepregnancy, I was limited to taking only prenatal massages, so I looked up all the highly-rated places in Las Vegas and LOAM came up. It was easy to look over their services on their website, but to ensure my mom and I could do our massages together at the same time, I found calling them was much better. I had booked the 50-minute Prenatal Massage and my mom booked the 50-minute Thai LOAM Massage with a 50% reservation fee. We were required to show up 10 minutes before our appointments to fill out a waiver and survey, change out of our clothes, and get situated on the massage bed. We were originally going to be in separate rooms but they asked if it was okay to put us in the couples' room; not a problem. They set up my bed with the pregnancy wedge for my belly, and it was pretty comfortable. The only complaint I had was that I had a hard time breathing through the little head hole as they layered a lot of white sheets on top of the bed and made the hole smaller and stifling. I found myself having to breathe through my mouth but it was tolerable. For prenatal massages, they only offer light and medium pressure. However, in certain areas I did feel like I got deep pressure especially in my shoulders as I had a few knots and tightness there. Katie/Kathy was my masseuse and she knew exactly how to work out those kinks while still making the experience comfortable for a pregnant person. I still felt like I got deep tissue massage on my shoulders despite the prenatal massage policy of being at maximum medium pressure. My mom said she found her massage relaxing and loved her experience at LOAM. They gave us water cups at checkout and we left feeling pretty relaxed. I did have a bit of shoulder soreness for 2 days afterwards but that is to be expected for getting the incessant knots out of my back--shoutout to Katie/Kathy! Overall, I highly recommend LOAM for their prenatal massages!

If you are looking for an all-day experience with activities and energy, it definitely delivers. That said, the coed areas can get quite loud, especially on weekends. His skill, professionalism, and ability to truly help you relax are the reasons my husband and I keep returning. That said, the overall wellness experience feels like it's missing something important: the small touches that make a place feel genuinely restorative rather than transactional. Something as simple as warm heated towels on the shoulders while transitioning between areas, which is fairly standard at many wellness spas, would elevate the entire experience. Especially at this price point (and for being a "member"), it feels like basic comfort and care should already be included, instead of being treated as an add-on. The massage itself is excellent because of Carlos. But when you go to a wellness space, you want to feel taken care of, not like every extra moment of comfort comes with another charge. It's the difference between feeling truly relaxed... and feeling nickel-and-dimed in a place that's supposed to help you unwind.

First off- I specifically requested for a hard massage both in email and paper form that I filled out while there. The lady that brought me into the massage room wasn't the same lady that massaged me. Since we went over the forms and type of massage. It was a noticeably older, very thin lady, who I had a feeling wasn't going to be able to massage me hard enough. Sure enough, it wasn't. And definitely not even licensed quality in massage techniques, by what I got. Which was at most a 5 pressure out of 10. I request 8-10. Massage was mainly pressing and wiping. She asked once if I was ok, and I replied "Yes, and can you massage harder, if possible please". Knowing she was older and tried her best, I remained polite the entire massage. Even though she never asked me again, Secondly- Since the place is next to an animal grooming business. I kept hearing dogs barking, echoing through-out the massage. First time I ever experienced this in the US, in my 30+ years. There are sound proofing you can invest in to mitigate this, in a business setting. My masseuse apologized for the noise during my massage. And lastly- As stated earlier, the audacity of the initial Middle aged woman, who processed me in and out on payment. They both were nice to me, but the minute I said the tip amount which was $10 out of an $80 total, she gasped in negative disbelief out loud, in front of my masseuse. And scowled "20% of 80 is $16". I played it off to my math error, and gave her the 20% as to not have my masseuse feel bad. But that was a very unprofessional and entitled transaction, given my already negative experience. Would anyone else have tipped 20% given this experience? I went home having to lacrosse ball my own back to get the knots out after paying $100. Again, to be nice, I wasn't going to write this review. But now I feel it is justified given that type of treatment. I won't even bother trying this place with a difference masseuse now, and I should have known by all the available slots open during that day, that the quality of the massage would be questionable.
