This is probably the hardest review I've ever written because I've been a loyal customer for the past 6 years all of which came to an end yesterday. Honestly, Bee Maid's customer service has been going down hill for the past year, but I love the ladies that actually clean my apartment so I stayed. None of that understanding was a thought to the horrible owner yesterday. And it went like this...I made my appointment via text Monday to clean the apartment Friday (never received a confirmation text) which was kinda unusual because he usually does text. But not this time or last time. Like I said service has been going down hill. So Friday comes. I'm running errands and get a call informing me the "ladies can come earlier" and "if I'd like they can come at 5:00 or 5:30. I said 5:30 would be great. It's 3:30 at this point, I've plenty of time and was on my way to next errand when I received another call 30mins later informing me that the ladies were outside and ready to clean! Wtf? They are over an hour early. He sent them to my house early! Why? I told him I'm at least 45mins. away in traffic they weren't suppose to be there until 5:30 it's 4:00! He said okay just get there as fast as you can I'll tell them to wait. I arrive at 5:00. Traffic was bad. Text him that I'm here...he text me the ladies left and they are mad at him because he made them wait and they don't believe in ME because I didn't so up. Again, wtf? I made an appointment, you asked if I wanted to move up the time because the team were ready earlier, I said yes we agreed on 5:30, then send them to the house over an hour earlier that scheduled and this my fault?! Oh this the best part...he said we'll go on yelp I'm sure you came find someone there. After 6 years and two apartments that's not the tone or attitude that I'd expect. Bee Maid customer service has become non existent (no confirmation texts anymore, no problem solving just blaming there customers) not cool. In the end I've apartment that needs deep cleaning and I have to find some one to help me. Fuck you Bee Maids by you BE better or BE gone. read more

Sorry for the bad review but they didn't do a good job. Very nice but the windows were not cleaned and the new carpet looked dirter than when they arrived. I asked them to run the vacuum cleaner on it and it was broken. They started with 3 ladies and when I got back early there was 1 lady and one guy doing the windows. Very poor job nice people but come on, no vacuuming and didn't offer to comeback and how long did they other ladies stay? read more

By far the worst cleaning service I have ever used (and I've uses many). My mirrors and counters were all dirtier than before they came since a filthy rag was used to wipe everything. Upstairs was never vacuumed. Stairs were never vacuumed. I spent a good amount of time RE-cleaning my house after they left. To add insult to injury they sent unprofessional, incomprehensible text messages as a means to resolve my complaint. Many good cleaning companies in the Valley. This is NOT one of them. read more

I get the impression this company is run off the dashboard of someone's car...that doesn't run...that is sitting in impound. I called to schedule an appointment, but no one answered. I left a message and received a call back to schedule. I was told the first available time was this afternoon between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM. It's now two hours passed that time and I've received no call to tell me why they are late or when they'll be coming. I called the company again and just got their voicemail. 99% of customer service is common sense, which this company demonstrates 0%. It's bad enough to make an appointment and miss it. It's another thing entirely for me to have to call and tell you and have to leave a message to do that equals total failure. read more

WOW. I'm a micro-managing control freak with more OCD than you could imagine. My house needed a DEEP cleaning and quick, because we have company coming that includes a 5-month old crawly little darlin'. I called The Bee Maid and OH MY GOSH, I didn't know what to expect but they BLEW ME AWAY!!! The price I paid was VERY reasonable, better than any other maid or service I've used before, and I was MUCH more satisfied with The Bee Maid's service. Monica and Delia did a fabulous job. They showed up right on the dot at 9:00 a.m. and got straight to work. They dusted, they scrubbed, they made my fiberglass shower look like *new* and they made the fiberglass tub sparkle. They washed walls, they did windows, did I say they dusted all the knick-knacks and artwork? Yes they did! They vacuumed, they did so much more the list would bore you -- but it certainly THRILLED me! If you have any hesitation about using The Bee Maid, just think about the GREAT experience I had. If you do have an issue, call them, because I'm sure they'd want to make it right. The business has a genuine family feel to it. And best of all, I work at home and I was able to keep working today as they cleaned. They even ORGANIZED for me as they cleaned. My previous maid was much more expensive and didn't do half the work -- plus, she would "hide" things and it drove me crazy. (She was like a ADHD sufferer, because she could never follow simple directions.) Everything I asked The Bee Maids to do, they DID -- they did it right the first time. I cannot say enough about my wonderful experience, and I'm going to find a way to have them back every other month. They've freed up enough of my time, I can get other things accomplished, like painting my house. read more

Bee Maid made a huge save for me by taking a last minute job after another cleaning company no showed. They were on time, friendly, and stuck around past their two hour time to make sure the job was done. Fantastic job done- apartment looked better than when we moved into it. Called to get more information about the living social deal. i wanted to confirm how many maids would do the cleaning, its 1. I they asked to check if my area was covered, and i said based on the zip codes listed on living social that my zip code should be covered. i live in 91505 and 91505 is listed as a zip that is included. he advised me that living social is incorrect and if i want the deal i must buy directly from him. i kindly declined. Be aware that they may not honor your area even though living social says they will. read more

They raised their prices to 60 for a cleaning session up from the 29 so there's really no point in not trying to find the current best groupon deal since they don't do he most thorough work. Found one today for 19. A score for groupon. read more

Wow!!! Bee Maids are the Bees Knees! Rosa and Maria blessed my house with their beautuful work! My place has never looked better. They arrived early, got straight to work and stayed passed the cut off time to ensure the job was done. They cleaned INSIDE the fridge (which was full of chinese leftovers, eeep!), INSIDE the microwave and UNDER all the appliances. They made our bed and sanitized the baseboards. With every room, their thoroughness shines. They were socialable and gracious for the cookies and lemonade I left out for them! Fernando was responsive throughout their visit via text to make sure I was happy and that everyone was on the same page as to what our focuses were. I've already referred people to them and they offered a discount for our next service because of it! All in all, they knocked it out of the park. I called them for a clean up my house was very disgusting I had family over For my fathers 80th birthday I saw the mess I didn't feel like cleaning so I decided to give them a call and they came in right away and did an amazing job. Monica cleaned my kitchen and left it brand new .. and Maria left my bathrooms spotless I couldn't be anymore happier with my house cleaning today I got to relax in a nice clean house.. thank you bee maid I appreciate all the hard work you guys did today I will sure be calling you guys for more cleaning read more

I usually don't leave any reviews simple fact because I don't get wow out of my mind where I have the urge to do so but after my surgery and not being able to clean my own house I called The bee maid and they worked wonders. I have high expectations when cleaning my home (which is why I usually do it myself ) but the cleaning crew that came out to clean met my expectations. They went into detail cleaning, they made sure my tub was bright white and shiny, my microwave dish was spot less and my fridge looked like new. I was even more impressed when I walked into my room and everything was dusted off. I can run the white glove through it. I'm really impressed with their work that I requested biweekly cleaning. Absolutely Wonderful! As I was searching for housecleaning services I stumbled upon The Bee maid. I read all the bad reviews and was Intrigued. I wondered what was all the fuzz about Could it really be that bad? I'm an Optimus person so I see positive things in negative things. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER! This is the most unprofessional scam I've dealt with in a while. Of course, I get a Groupon thinking that I'm getting a deal; I've used Groupons 1,000 times and never had a company complain through the entire transaction about how I need to pay them MORE money in CASH in order to make up the difference for the Groupon because they aren't getting the difference. Seriously?! Why did I buy it in the first place then?? This is after several 11pm phone calls from the creepy "manager" Fernando (I think) basically bullying me and I eventually had to change my entire move-out date and apartment walk-through appointment to accommodate his staff after he gave me one date and changed it at the last minute. At this point I didn't want anyone associated with him in my apartment but the whole thing dragged on for so long I was out of options for finding another cleaning service on short notice. Longest and saddest story short: The two cleaners were late, they did not speak to me or my father who was helping me move, they didn't clean ANYTHING but just kept spraying bleach and other terrible cleaners in the air and all four of us were choking and coughing the whole time. I only have a 300 sq. ft. studio apartment, what the hell were you doing for an hour and a half (was supposed to be two)?! (I was in and out packing up my car.) Fernando kept boasting how his service is the only one that does a "deep clean" with baseboards and windows and appliances, etc...well, not one of those things were touched. They pretty much just wiped out my shower and kitchen sink. They cleaned all my makeup as well since as I was trying to dump all of my bathroom sink items into a box before they got near there, one of the ladies who didn't speak a word of english (but was on her cell phone the entire time) came right over and sprayed bleach ALL OVER me and my hygiene items!!! What.The.F***K?! I'd be less offended if that sink was sparkling afterwards, but alas, wouldn't touch it after she was through with it. I can't even begin to list how disgusting it was to see them use the foulest rags that smelled horrible on the end of a broken broom stick to wipe the floors and THEN the walls with the same rag. Everything was sticky afterwards, the bathroom floor was just swirled with dirt and hair. What I don't even understand was that MY APARTMENT WAS CLEANER BEFORE THEY CAME IN!!! It was just a full wipe down for the move-out. A simple layer of dust and dirt from living in the valley. They didn't even VACUUM! I was even giving them cleaning products from my own place since I was moving and their stuff was so disgusting. Then they walk out (EARLY) as I'm trying to walk through and point out all the stuff they DIDN'T DO that was just for basic housekeeping. A "move-out" service was just a joke. Period. Then they leave without a word and I immediately get a phone call from Fernando wanting more money and he was going to send the ladies back into my apartment demanding cash from me. Seriously!? Then he's back to how Groupon doesn't pay them so they aren't making any money...sir, that's your deal with Groupon, NOT ME! He was a complete prick. Everything about this ordeal was sad and terrible. Never use this service, you will regret all of it. Especially having to go door-to-door minutes before your building manager comes for her walk-through and you're scrambling to find a vacuum and paper towels to wipe up all the crap they left all over your place, then adjust your lighting so it's not so obvious, then cover your windows because THEY WERE NEVER TOUCHED, then make sure your ceiling fan never turns off because if it did you'd be charged for cleaning it since there was dust and webs literally hanging off and the cleaning people said they just "didn't have a way to clean it." I've never used a cleaning service before, and I was a little leery of using this service because at the time there was only one review (granted, it was a 5 star review, but still, you never know). I decided to take a chance and purchased a groupon for a 4 hour cleaning session. I was having a big party the day after the scheduled cleaning so I needed the job done right. Not only was Ingrid on time but she even stayed a little bit after the four hours to finish up the job. There was a lot to do and she was very thorough in getting what I told her were my main concerns (the floors and kitchen) clean. I've recommended the company to other friends, and though I haven't needed to have the house cleaned again since, I would definitely use them again. read more

I am writing my very first Yelp review because I am compelled to share how happy I am w/ The Bee Maid. My apartment was cleaned today for the first time by them. It is not only the cleanest my apartment has ever been it was the cheapest rate I have ever paid. I used to use another cleaning company in Los Angeles but there was a security issue the last time they serviced my apartment - they left my front and back doors unlocked! So I came to Yelp and went w/ The Bee Maid. I am so happy I did. They cleaned areas I did not require - the burners on the oven for example. My place is spotless and I returned home to a locked apartment and my parking pass returned. I will absolutely use them again and will happily refer them to anyone who asks. read more

Just awful. They were to come at 10:45. They finally showed up at noon but by then I had already canceled and asked Groupon for a refund. I saw them as I was pulling out of my garage. (Yeah, I actually had places to be besides at home waiting 75 minutes for them to finally arrive) The owner's excuse was that the lady was coming from Santa Clarita, but there was NO traffic today. read more

Then, they sent another husband and wife team who did not do as good a job and I had to constantly supervise when they tried to clean my house in less than the hour I paid for.
