Luckily, their beef jerky selection is so huge, I had no problem finding a substitute. They also have a wide range of crack seed items. They had my favorite milk chocolate gummy bears. The best Beef Jerky in town, love love love the thin crispy style jerky. This store doesn't disappoint with all the Hawaiian options (candies, aloha shoyu, Japanese snacks and the walls full of beef jerky in all different flavors). FYI - don't be fraud to shop and worry about packing all of it in your luggage, they offer shipping for a fee. Well worth it as trying to lug all your snacks home is a chore lol. This store is a must visit not just the snacks are on point, but the locals that work there. I had an absolute blast with our cashier Marivel and the other sister who works there. Never realized there was this store in Downtown Las Vegas. Maybe because I would be just be on Fremont St. A friend suggested I check out this store on N 3rd St., just off Fremont St, which I did on my recent trip to Vegas. Don't let its name fool you. This is more than just The Beef Jerky Store. As you enter, yes, the right wall is lined with jerky made from beef, pork, turkey, seafood, exotic meats and they even have meatless jerky. But the rest of the store is full of other goodies. Aisles of candies, nuts, dried fruit, chocolates, cookies, Asian specialties, and Island specialties of crack seed, li hing, jams, shortbread cookies, coffee and snacks. If I get my Island goodies craving, it's a lot shorter trip to come here to tie me over before the next flight across the Pacific. When you check in on Yelp, you get a free beef stick too. I came here on a mission. My dad sent me with the large flat rate box & a list of stuff he wanted me to get. Yes, this place is a snack lovers heaven. It had been a while since I had been here, but I did notice a lot more things having their brand on it now. On his list was the round beef jerky made by Old Trapper & Tillamook. Both were nowhere to be seen & although they did have both those brands it was quite the small section. I had asked a worker about those & she said they don;t bring in as much of the brand anymore. I guess they are trying to push more of their brand now, makes sense. Kind of a bummer, their brand is the thinner jerky but boy is it expensive. Picked up a couple of the other brands, along with our favorite snack the ume arare, some lihing gummies, & shredded lemon peel. At this point the box was overflowing, fingers crossed it would fit in the box, so I wouldn't have to carry any home. Not that it would've been a big deal either. Yes, they do offer that flat rate box option if you don't want to carry it home which is nice. Of course you have to pay for it, but I believe if you spend $150 its free, don't quote me on that. So I guess I did some pretty spot on packing because everything fit in the box, well okay I'll also credit the guy packing it, everything fit like a puzzle. The arare sat on the top of the box, so I was wondering what condition it would be in by the time it reached here. You know, it was in pretty good shape. It's a funky little store. They have a bunch of different foods and sweets that you can't find in a regular store. The staff is always really nice and the prices are pretty good. The ONLY downside to this shop is the location cause Fremont street at night can be sketchy. BUT it is well worth it to venture a few steps from the main street. On this trip we got Pistachio Snack, Jumbo Boston baked beans, Chocolate covered peanut butter dough, Extreme dark chocolate truffles, King sweet red li hing mui, and French burnt peanuts. We've been customers there for many years. However, on our most current trip, we found that the bags were smaller and the selection was smaller as well. In several packages, there were only a couple pieces of jerky in them. I realize we're in Covid territory but it was ridiculous. The price per ounce has skyrocketed.
