We've celebrated so many special milestones at The Belvedere over the years, so it was the perfect place to celebrate our bride-to-be yesterday. Our experience was made even better by our waiter, Lyle. Lyle was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made our morning. He went above and beyond to make our celebration feel special, even surprising us with a beautiful assortment of desserts. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole experience even more memorable. Great service is what keeps people coming back, and Lyle is exactly the kind of person who makes you want to return. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at The Belvedere was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. I visited with my friend and younger sister, and from the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. We were ignored by the hostess upon entering, waited an unusually long time just to receive water, and were never offered bread despite seeing other tables receive it shortly after being seated. The most frustrating part was the excessive wait for our meals. Multiple parties who were seated after us received their food before we did. When we politely asked our server for an update, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. We were simply told, "It'll be a few minutes, it's getting plated," in a dismissive manner. Throughout the meal, our server never checked on our table, never asked how the food was, and never returned to see if we needed anything. We ultimately had to flag someone down just to request the check. I understand that restaurants have busy periods and delays happen, even though at the time it was not busy at all. What was disappointing was the complete lack of hospitality, communication, and basic attentiveness that one would expect from a restaurant operating within a five-star Beverly Hills hotel. The service we received was noticeably different from what we observed at surrounding tables. As young guests who were respectfully dressed, polite, and paying customers, we left feeling as though we were not valued or taken seriously. Whether intentional or not, the experience made us feel overlooked and treated as though we were somehow less deserving of the same level of service afforded to others. The food itself was not enough to make up for the experience. Given the prices, reputation, and setting, I expected professionalism and hospitality. The Belvedere is probably the last of fine dining establishments in a hotel or maybe anywhere in the Los Angeles area. The food is excellent. The staff is top notch. The ambiance is truly wonderful, although the piped in music could be, at times, a tad jarring. The hotel itself is stunning. I highly recommend The Belvedere. The Peninsula is lovely and steeped in Hollywood glam. Since the Belvedere is on the fancier side my friend and I decided to take advantage of the dineLA dinner, 3 courses for $65. The ambiance is pleasant and the service was professional and attentive albeit a little cold. Between my friend and I we tried almost all options on the dineLA menu. To start we chose the Beet and Burrata Salad and Honeynut Squash Agnolotti. The Beet and Burrata had a lovely presentation with a colorful honeycomb overlay. The flavors of both were fine. The Agnolotti was light enough to be a starter and the Salad was bright and well balanced. For course 2 we opted for Duck a L'Orange and Slow Braised Bone-in Short rib. The Short rib was solid - well cooked and seasoned, and so fun to pull out that big bone. The Duck was also well cooked, but the lighter flavor was over shadowed after having some of the short rib. Finally for desert we chose the Cherry on Top and Popcorn Crème Brûlée. I love popcorn so I was very excited to try it but it fell a little flat, it ended up tasting a bit like burnt kettle corn. The Cherry on Top was a surprise and a delight. I don't think I would have ordered it if it wasn't part of the courses and I'm glad we did. It was whimsical, light, and yummy. A month ago (July 24), I had the pleasure of having my second birthday dinner at this restaurant. First and foremost, I'd like to give a shoutout to our excellent server, Mr. Sergio, and the asst. server, Mr. Jesus. And the rest of the courteous and efficient staff. July 24 coincides with the DineLA period. Belvedere's DineLA menu price was lower than most restaurants. They priced theirs at $55 while the other restaurants priced theirs at $65. But the best thing about our visit was that everything on the DineLA menu that we ordered was delicious (except for the Vanilla Sundae). Below is what we ordered: First Course: My niece had the Smoked Salmon Flatbread I had the Ricotta Ravioli Second Course: My niece had the Lingcod Filet (it was delicious and it was served with a Wasabi potato puree) I had the Seared Ahi Tuna Dessert: My niece had the Cookies-and-Cream Cheesecake. I don't like Cheesecake but I loved this! I had the Vanilla-Chocolate Sundae. This is the only thing that we did not like. In addition, they served a complimentary Tiramisu for my birthday. Talking about complimentary, they had a couple of other complimentary items at the start, as follows: a) Bread & Butter- many restaurants do not serve free bread and butter anymore; and b) a Strawberry with cream and some caviar for each of us. My niece loved this. Parking: They offer valet of course. But when we drove around the block because we missed the entrance, I noticed several open metered parking. (Good for 2 hours only). Overall, we enjoyed our dinner, the service, and the atmosphere. We were seated at the patio and we had the place to ourselves. For some reason, everyone was inside. I come to this restaurant frequently with clients because the location is great. The service is amazing; nicest staff and very attentive. I've never had to ask for anything during a meal, they are on it. The room is beautiful. It's so bright and I love the French country decor. It's very clean if not a little outdated. Unfortunately the food is so bad. It has everything else going for it but the food needs a major overhaul. The menu makes no sense and I've never had a memorable meal here. Thank you Serge for the incredible service and great laughs during our dinner! The bread basket and butter was super dangerous. I loved the cheese thin crackers and warm pretzel bread. Of course I couldn't resist the butter. I ordered the onion soup and that was so filling and delicious. I love onion soup and the flavor was so good!! It can do with a bit more cheese but the broth and amount was perfect. My friend ordered the salmon and mashed potatoes which she loved. Looked like steamed spinach was under the salmon. I had a cucumber martini which was delicious and refreshing. My friend had glasses of champagne it was a celebration last night indeed. The first time I went was for the Mother's day brunch but I went back to see if it's as nice as it was then!! And it was! The food is so amazing, the lychee rose tart is like nothing i've had before. The service is very quick too, they're also very friendly. Such a cute area for the tea, mother's day or not. My husband and I celebrated our New Year's Eve at this restaurant. The theme was Midnight in Paris, and we expected that there would have been a little more effort in transforming the room to a brasserie as they had advertised. Although the staff were wearing berets. that is where the authenticity ended. We were ushered to our table, a booth with seating that was lumpy and a green polyester tablecloth that was too large for the small table- they simply tucked the extra wad of fabric underneath it. Our host, who used Italian not French to wish us "Bon Appetito", should have been an indication that nothing would be at a high standard, but it was NYE and we went with the flow. After the waiter got my husband's drink wrong-twice-he finally said forget it and drank what was served. I ordered wine by the glass, so I could "course" it. However the wine list is dismal at best, cheap and grocery store level (I am talking Von's not even Ralph's). We ordered oysters to start (not on the menu, but they accommodated us). It was served on a platter with what looked like orange cocktail sauce, vinegar and no oyster forks. Instead they left us one spoon. Then, I chose the seared tuna, which was bland and served on a piece of rubbery cold white bread with mayonnaise on it. It was worse than something served on an airplane. The salad had fluorescent overcooked vegetables-green beans and carrots. Like something out of a 1970's restaurant that thinks they are what a very uncultured old person may describe as "fancy". My husband ordered the Lyonnaise salad, but was brought French onion soup instead. They eventually brought the salad, which was endive not frisée, drenched in vinegar and hardly resembled what this salad was intended to be. My main course was the canard (duck). The waiter had no idea what I meant when I ordered it until I said it is English. Although it was on the menu, I was told that was for the second seating only. When it was brought out, it had been microwaved and was lukewarm warm and rubbery. I could not eat it. My husband ordered the beef bourguignon, which tasted more like stew out of a can. For dessert, I ordered the hazelnut cake-which was just a bunch of hazelnuts on a stale piece of dried out layer cake that was more like three day old baklava. My husband had the pistachio cake-also something that was not memorable and hardly resembled what it intended to be-a French gateau. I am truly uncertain if the management ever went to France, tasted anything French or even watched a French program in their lives because nothing would indicate that the restaurant had been transformed to a brasserie in Paris. After spending $675 on a dinner that I could have gotten from a hospital cafeteria, with a similar ambience, I am disgusted. The Peninsula should be equated with taste, attention to detail and fine dining. Instead it was wait staff that was not trained properly, I do not care that you normally work during the day, I do not expect to have the same service I would get at Denny's-fast and sloppy. The manager should be ashamed of themselves for the event that they obviously cared nothing about. In short, save yourself a lot of money and go somewhere that is worth it. The room, waitstaff and food is unsavory. I would not have paid more than $150 with tip for the experience I had-and THAT is being generous. read more

A friend and I had a fantastic breakfast at The Belvedere European Brasserie inside The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. The dining room is spacious, elegant, and filled with beautiful artwork and gorgeous flower arrangements, creating a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. There's also a lovely option to dine al fresco. The menu was fabulous! We shared the Egg White Frittata with roasted vegetables, arugula, and chicken sausage--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We also enjoyed a generous stack of lemon-zest pancakes that were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. A cheesy cracker served with the meal was an unexpected treat--crispy, savory, and bursting with flavor. The coffee was fresh and satisfying. Our servers, Monika and Narcisco, were warm, professional, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The Belvedere is a wonderful spot for a relaxing, upscale breakfast in a gorgeous setting and they have a great menu for their lunch and dinner, as well. We will be back. I've been dining here for over 24 years on special occasions. The place was empty on arrival and crowded as could be by 2pm but still quiet. Our waiter was Lyle and he was so nice. He's a Virgo, was highly knowledgeable and engaging. Hope he's my waiter next time. My meal was PERFECT. The branzino was perfectly butterflied and tasty. The lemon risotto was fantastic. The broccoli was nicely seasoned and tender. I'm not usually a fan of risotto or broccoli so I'm glad I didn't ask for substitutions. The champagne had everybody tipsy in no time. I honestly wouldn't have known it was a fancy bottle by just its taste though. I had the pistachio crème brûlée and it wasn't overpowered by pistachio as I figured it might be as it was all pistachio and a bit of strawberries. Afternoon tea on the terrace at The Belvedere was an incredible experience. We've been to The Living Room at The Peninsula multiple times in the past and loved it, but with COVID numbers rising exponentially we're not planning to return to indoor dining anytime soon. Fortunately, The Belvedere has an outdoor dining option and it is a lovely setting with overhead canopies for shade and a DJ. We came for the special collaboration with Ginza Nishikawa, and it was delightful. The ice cubes with flowers made it even more fun to drink. Some of my favorites from the tea experience were the yuzu ginger lemonade (I had the mocktail version), the cucumber mint and smoked salmon sandwiches (though honestly, all of the sandwiches were delicious), the scones that were baked to perfection accompanied by clotted cream, lemon curd, and raspberry jam, and the ube calamansi macaron, which was bursting with flavor. We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and the lucky man got a complimentary tiramisu, which was also delicious. Service was very attentive in the beginning, though it was harder to get anyone's attention after we were done. We ended up having to ask the hostess for our check after a couple bathroom visits and after waiting for what felt like an eternity just paid the bill on the way out. Pro tip: if you don't want to pay for valet, arrive a little early - there's plenty of metered street parking around the block, and on Sundays you don't have to pay :) read more

The Belvedere is the restaurant inside the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. The hotel is located on Santa Monica and Rodeo Drive. Discounted valet parking with validation. Dress code is "smart casual" which means somewhere between business casual and dressy casual but leaning more towards business casual attire than dressy. A buttoned up shirt and slacks for men/women and a nice dress for women would be appropriate. It's on the pricey side, especially the holiday menu, but it was so worth it. Not to mention that the last time I dined out for the holidays was New Years Eve 2020! I celebrated Christmas at the Belvedere. What I loved about the Christmas menu is that it had vegan options. I also noted that they have a plant-based 5 course pre-fixe menu for regular days which has the rutabaga entree I had for Christmas on it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very beautiful and charming. It has a blue and white motif and an upscale European feel. There is an outside dining area as well as an inside. It's an elegant dining room. There is a velvet long booth with tables in the middle and a regular booth for larger parties on the exterior and also tables that stand alone. I got a wonderful stand alone table in the corner with a perfect view of the piano. I was so happy with where they sat me. They had a pianist playing all the Christmas music. It was absolutely lovely having live music. It really added to the experience. It was the perfect volume too which was just loud enough for holiday background music. A guest stopped by and sang Jingle Bells which was also cool. I heard him say he was "on tour" so I guess he was a professional singer who was walking by. It wasn't planned by the restaurant but it added to the holiday experience and good feelings of community. For the food, I started with an endive salad with smoked trout, citrus emulsion, burnt mandarin, breakfast radish, and pomegranate. They had a vegan option of truffle noodles as well but I was in the mood for some fish as I'm pescatarian. The salad was beautiful to look at. The trout was placed in the middle in the shape of a rose. It had a light dressing. The smoked fish was the star of the dish. It was both light and filling at the same time. My main entree was the plant based option of salt-dough baked rutabaga. It had plant based curd, broken cassis (black current liquor) lovage (a celery like herb) emulsion sauce (Christmas colors of green and red), juniper berry (I think this also part of the sauce), and a coral cracker on top. This dish was also a work of art. I loved the Christmas colors of the sauce. I did have to look up the definition of the food listed on the menu here which means this is a pretty fancy schmancy dish as I consider myself pretty food cultured. I did not get a good picture of this dish so I will describe it here. It looked like it was one rutabaga cut in half. The rutabaga was covered in curd and a crunchy celery like vegetable. It was surrounded by a red and green sauce. Covering the rutabaga was a think cracker like bread. It did look small at first and I was worried it wouldn't be enough but I was satisfied at the end. Dessert was my favorite part of the meal. Send my regards to the pastry chef. I got the spiced bouche noel which was a small Christmas log. It has spiced spongecake, chocolate orange cream, and salted pecan ice cream. It was like a chocolate mousse which I love and on the bottom it had a crunchy crust. It was so beautifully decorated. It brought me so much joy. I also got to try the pear tart ordered by my dining companion. It was also quite stunning and delicious. It had caramelized pears, toasted almond frangipane and Tahitian vanilla ice cream. It was also decorated super cute for Christmas. What a refreshing dessert. The meal came with "Christmas bread" and I had no idea what that meant. It was two muffins: one gingerbread and one cornbread, along with a star and a heart chocolate covered bread. It came at the beginning of the meal but it was more like dessert so we saved it for the end. Overall, I was quite happy with my experience here. It's a nice special occasion restaurant for sure. This restaurant is located in the Peninsula hotel so obviously you walk into this hotel seeing the upscale elegance of the decor. After you make a left down the corridor, you make a right to find the Belvedere restaurant nestled in the back. The restaurant is also nicely set up with outdoor seating as well. I ordered the smoked salmon flatbread and my husband ordered the veal schnitzel holstein which were both surprisingly good. The salmon was from the Faroe Islands so it was different than your typical salmon. Very delicious and high quality. The veal schnitzel was also tasty and reminiscent of the schnitzel we had in Austria. It was lightly breaded and crispy which is not how we've seen it here in the US. The service was so-so. It was more like elevated an busboy who took our order so it wasn't likened to what we typically see in 5 star hotel restaurants and we had to request bread service. The food was a bit overpriced, but in line with what is typically charged at these hotel restaurants. For dessert, we got the soufflé and it was pretty tasty. Unfortunately a massive disappointment and never a return visit. Wifey and I booked their Thanksgiving dinner 2024. This is not our first go-around with the Peninsula - we've stayed at their sister hotels in New York, Paris and Hong Kong - the latest meal we had was at L'Oiseau Blanc October 2023. We've also spent time at the Bar (see other review) in BH and had delightful meals and drinks. Well nothing could haven been further from Peninsula quality at this Thanksgiving event. While appetizers and bread were top quality, the meal went straight down into the basement from there. I ordered filet mignon, after seeing the literal heap of indistinguishable food, turkey on top, burying green beans and a stuffing that looked like cut up toast, masquerading as "home made." Wifey was brave and went for the turkey, only to blanch and spit out a rock hard bread crust in the pretend stuffing. Nothing was plated - instead everything was mashed together on regular stoneware - not even Peninsula china. Wifey sent the abominable meal back and asked for a replacement. They brought her an appetizer of agnolotti with desiccated white truffle. Truffles are to be kept moist - these slivers had been on the plate for hours. Everything was tasteless, completely without flavor on her plate. My filet was fine, but nothing spectacular by any means. Desserts were fine but again, nothing to write home about. They also left the table dirty and didn't use a crumber, just put the dessert right on the dirty cloth. Not appealing. We had two glasses of Nebbiolo, and I had a vodka martini to start. Total was $520, tip included. Never again. We should have stuck with Citrine or Spago - which we will do next time around. read more

This is a true 5 star fine dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a private, boujee, romantic dinner date. The indoor dining room is gorgeous and inviting and the outdoor dining space is comfy and chill. They have heaters available outside if needed. From the get go the service was on point. The hostess was very kind and welcoming. The waiter was super friendly, attentive, and helpful. They have an $85 bottomless Laurent Perrier Cuvée Brut Champagne which is a great deal if you prefer premium champagnes over your typical cheap wine bottomless deal. A glass goes for $30 so as long as you drink 3+ glasses it's worth the money! The waiter said "as long as you're willing to stay here and keep drinking you can keep drinking" - no time limit! I had a glass of the Riesling which was light and fresh. They have off the menu specials which we were excited to hear about. I tried the tomato soup which was dairy free and so delicious. We also ordered the wagyu stir fry which was a special and honestly the highlight of the meal. This stir fry was NEXT LEVEL!!! Will definitely come back for that soon ($42). I had the duck breast which was really good but not the best I've ever had. It comes with leek and baked cinnamon apples which is like a nice little dessert! For dessert I ordered the pistachio crème brûlée which was absolutely amazing, just as you'd expect. It came with some pistachio crème or ice cream on top that was just perfect. We also ordered the apple cake which I didn't try, but heard it was great. Will 100% be back here. I love how quiet and private the ambiance feels. You can actually hear yourself talk and not have to worry about screaming over other loud patrons. Even on a Saturday night it wasn't packed and it felt very peaceful and romantic. Bathrooms are clean and fancy. The restaurant is located in a 5 star hotel, the Peninsula and you can find it by walking right through the lobby bar. Highly highly recommend!! Extremely disappointing. My daughter made the reservation for a special thanksgiving meal. When we arrived a few minutes before our reservation, they were not ready for us. We had to stand in a busy part of the restaurant with servers and others rushing around us, while they cleaned up a table. Once seated, the noise level of the restaurant made conversation very difficult. Another unpleasant experience was the blasts of cold air that hit us periodically when someone opened a door near us which led to outside. It wasn't clear who was our server, since someone served water, someone else brought bread and someone else gave out menus. No one introduced themselves, said welcome to the restaurant or I will be your waiter tonight. After a rather lengthy wait, someone showed up and asked us for our food orders. Wr weren't asked if we wanted drinks, but since we did, we appended those orders after the food. It I felt like the server just wanted to get our holiday meal over with as little interaction with us as possible. After all another lengthy wait, our first course of soup arrived. Or rather two soups arrived for our party of four. After several minutes, the remaining two soups arrived. MY daughter had to get someone's attention about our drinks. The drinks came out after the soup was finished. Whoever brought the drinks had no idea who had ordered what, which was a recurring theme throughout the meal. The same confusion ensued with the entrees and the desserts. The remaining food when it came was not very good. My turkey was bland and tasteless. None of the side dishes were very good. For taste, I liked the filet the best, all the other dishes were alright. But the main attraction was the dessert in the seat next to me. When a Michelin star chef at a high-end Beverly Hills restaurant says, "Let's create a five-course seasonal plant-based experience," you better believe I'm in. We partook back in October and I *still* can't shut up about it. First, The Belvedere is a striking venue worth a trip, even if it wasn't for one of the best meals I've ever had. Outside, inside, it's all elegant with an eclectic array of art that adds the right accent without distracting. The tables are well-spaced to enjoy your company and with the vaulted ceilings, you definitely get a sense of openness to enjoy your time. The food... ohhh the food.. Absurdly good. Each course was served with care, the server talking through what was on each plate and how it tied into the overall vision. At this point, you know, I don't even remember WHAT we ate. I found that sad, at first.. to forget the intricacies of something I loved so much. But I think it speaks to the level of what we enjoyed that night. I'm a pretty solid home cook, and I have a passion for farmers markets anywhere I can find them. I've had high-end plant-based cuisine around the country. If I can't rattle off exactly what went down, that means I experienced another level of food, out of my range, which is a beauty in itself. Not to mention, there were so many ingredients woven together that saying just the name of each dish would be an injustice. Plus, we had a baby a month later so forgive my hazy memory here.. The meal was proper and I hated to do it, but I could not resist snapping photos which I've collaged here. And don't sleep on the drinks, they brought an A-game list of custom cocktails to the table that I could not ignore. Plus, as you would expect, a curated and recommended wine list that covered all the bases. Not a drinker? My wife, pregnant at the time, had a zero-booze fruit-forward sparking cocktail worth celebrating all on its own. I cannot say enough good things. The staff were genuine and involved, and the chef came out to talk with us about the details behind the plant-based story. They plan to update the whole thing seasonally, I believe, and if we didn't have a toddler and an infant to juggle, we'd have been back again by now for sure. Visited for afternoon tea. First thing, parking says it's $15 for 2 hours with validation. We were there 1hr 45 min and were charged $20 for parking, not a big deal sign is just outdated.. Valet is a bit confusing the driveway is a disorganized mess. Once we parked we headed to the restaurant. It's a beautiful area on the patio. They had a live dj playing good music. Great atmosphere. It took awhile for a server to come over and greet us. Once they did though service moved pretty quickly. We weren't offered water until about 45 min into tea service after we drank all of our tea. The tea service itself was excellent. The food was exquisite and better than any of the fare I've had at any other afternoon teas. The presentation was amazing on the cucumber sandwich and the deserts were Japan inspired and absolutely amazing! Especially the ube calamansi macron. We ate at this restaurant the last 2 nights with my family and had the pleasure of having the server Andre both nights. The first night I did the 3 course dinner special with the beet and burrata salad and the short ribs. I highly recommend both of those dishes. The next night I had the dry aged steak which included truffle Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal. Overall the service was great, the whole team is very nice, knowledgeable, and funny. This venue in the Peninsula Hotel is quite elegant - both indoors and outdoors - and I would highly recommend checking it out just to experience it firsthand. Came here for breakfast. The menu is indeed pricy...as expected in this type of locale...but what attracted me to it for breakfast was the novelty of the offering. We opted for the cholesterol-free omelet. We were told by the waiter that it uses egg whites. When the omelet came, it was clearly yellow, so we asked the (different) server what was used. He said it was made of egg beaters. However, later, when the original waiter came, he said they "accidentally" gave us egg yolk. He offered to get a new one, but it was already taking forever just to eat...so we decided to leave it alone. The distinction between egg whites vs egg yolks really is not a huge deal for us. But I didn't appreciate the fact that they took some wild shortcuts and clearly don't have their act together with respect to understanding/communicating the relevant ingredients. Don't say "cholesterol-free" when it's clearly loaded with cholesterol. On the positive side, the choco-charcoal was quite filling and satisfying. Could have used more dark chocolate - but was happy with the dish regardless. read more

The taste is a bit beyond my expectation. Avocado Toast There are two perfect poached eggs on the top, small tomatoes, avocado, cucumber slices and some fruit preserves in the middle. I was a bit resistant to the presence of preserves in this place, but it tasted unexpectedly delicious, and I ate them all. The toast at the bottom It's also soft and not too hard. Spicy Tuna Tarta This whole dish lives up to its name, pure spicy tuna, tastes like spicy fish, and the bread around it is thin and crispy, so be careful when eating it. Eggs Benedict The bread at the bottom is soft and firm, with two slices of ham in the middle, two poached eggs on top, and three asparagus and three slices of tomatoes on the side. There are many beautiful green plants on the roof, and the hotel swimming pool is also here. The sun is good, but there are umbrellas to keep it from getting too hot. When the wind is strong, it will be a bit cold. Just ask the waiter to turn on the heater! The menu had quite a variety of options to choose from. Service was very proper old-school high quality service. Desserts were amazing! Great for brunch or lunch. I went to the Belvedere for an annual fancy Xmas family dinner. Bad idea. The hotel itself was decorated but the restaurant was not at all. The dining room looked run down with old furniture and bright lighting that felt like a retirement home's dining hall. We've been here multiple times, all for dinner. The food and service has always consistently good. The reason for the lower rating is that they still advertise the Sunday buffet brunch on their website when it is no longer available. This ordinarily would not have been a problem but we specifically reserved brunch for today for a special occasion, my in laws were in town and we wanted to take them out for a spectacular last meal in LA before they leave. We see them less than once a year, so this was particularly upsetting. We know the menu here quite well, but had we known there were no brunch buffet available, The Belvedere would not have been our first choice for our last meal in a long time with my in laws. read more

Worth it? Totally worth it. We saw the Belvedere brunch on the "Worth it" Youtube series and I made the executive decision that while we were in LA and in the area we would splurge! To start off with, it's 100 times worth it. The selection is amazing. With a table of chilled seafood, a table of freshly made warm dishes, a table of made to order food, and an entire table of beautifully made dessert - you could not go wrong no matter what table you chose. I'd heard great things and was recommended to nab the lobster waffles before they ran out - and they did not disappoint! They were utterly fantastic!!! Overall the selection (especially for someone with dietary restrictions) was perfect, and while we found it difficult to be so full prior to walking around the entire day.
