Wow!!!! Loved this place, let me first start by saying that they have a super cute shop that you walk in before heading to the dinning area. You order your food at the register and can sit anywhere you like. They also do reservations as they had some tables reserved. It's not a huge place but can fit quite a few tables. I had the green eggs and ham which was amazing. I also had a cappuccino and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. The store itself has some great gifts and super cute baby items. I should have taken a picture! My wife and I were returning from the autoshop and de idea to stop somewhere for a quick breakfast. Googled and found this gem of a place. As we stepped inside, I was very skeptical and asked to see a menu before they sat us down. The place seems like a miniature cracker barrel. I saw full breakfasts and de idea to stay. Best decision of the day! Although seating was a little tight. The place was inviting, people were wonderful, and their cause is humbling. All their tips are donated to special needs children educational program. Well, now the good stuff! I ordered the Taco Breakfast, thinking it would be something small and quick to eat. My wife ordered the Baco, egg, and cheese croissant, thinking the same. She could eat the entire meal, and my tacos were standard size tacos. The meal was one of the best breakfasts we've had. I had the chicken Salad croissant and it was very tasty. The latte was excellent. We also tried the omelet which was prepared well. I would come back for the food alone, but the fact that all proceeds benefit a great cause make this a regular place for me to stop by and grab lunch with my sister and mom. Delicious food and even better program. BiG Cafe is a part of an incredible gift shop that I cannot help but spend money at. I want everything when I am there, so I have to limit my trips. The shop and restaurant provides an opportunity for people with disabilities to work, and have a meaningful opportunity to do something with their friends and peers. Excellence and attention to detail define the greatness that is BIG Cafe. I've eaten here two days in a row and was impressed both times I visited. I had both the chicken salad sandwich and the grilled chicken salad with pumpkin seeds. The veggies, fruit, and chicken were all extremely fresh and the croissant for the chicken salad was flaky yet soft. Don't forget to stop by their onsite store and greenhouse. This place is so cute and VERY good. Great GF options that were extremely fresh and tasty. I had the crustless sweet potato quiche with a side of bacon and it was light, fluffy, savory with a hint of sweetness. Surely they grow their own lettuce in their greenhouse because that is the freshest salad I have had at a restaurant. I'd rate a 10 if I could! I rarely get excited by restaurants. Mostly it's just a place to eat. But this place was more! You are immediately greeted by a beautiful building and gorgeous flowers. There is a precious gift shop full of various things. The cafe was very cute. Everything there was fresh and so nice. The food was delish too. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The organization that created the cafe works with special needs and it was wonderful seeing them helping in the cafe. The entire building was full of love and happiness. This place is in Georgetown which is only about 20-30 minutes from my home, but only for the first time visited at the tail end of a 2.5 week road trip. This area doesn't have many attraction or draws to it so haven't ever heard about this place. The idea here is really cool, they amplify a lot of people with special needs and support them through programs facilitated by this place. The place was really cute looking and had a beautiful theme inside of the building. The bathrooms were very clean as was the entire property. The service was very quick and we had our food in less than 10 minutes, so it is a good stop for something quick. They had multiple healthy items and there chicken was hormone free so it appears they place emphasis on eating clean. The only problem I had being such a big eater is that their meals were pretty small. Prices weren't bad so can't complain too much, but I left and I was still a bit hungry. Overall would return especially if I was looking for a lighter meal at the time. read more

What a find! Such a cute place for lunch! The proceeds go toward special needs adults in the Georgetown area. Such a great cause. The menu is small, but absolutely delicious items! I had the chicken salad on a croissant with a cup of poblano soup, which was amazing! My sister had the daily special, Asian quinoa with chicken, which was bursting with flavor. The prices are a bit steep for the portions but such a great cause. Their gift shop is unique and priced lower than I expected, which was very nice!
