Love, love, love the BiG Cafe! I stopped in early before my meeting nearby and had the pleasure of enjoying a coffee with a lite breakfast while I caught up on a little work in their cafe. It was absolutely delicious and the cafe was incredibly cozy! I was helped by one of the most adorable citizens of BiG and I got to say, best service I've ever had!! She was extremely sweet, attentive and made sure my experience was top notch and it was!! This is the most special place on earth in my book and so grateful that we can contribute and support adults with special needs live their BiG dream. Can't wait to go back! read more

Wow, what a gem this place is. We found it while traveling from Las Vegas for a soccer event. We really liked the food and atmosphere. There aren't a lot of tables, so be prepared to wait. Came here for the cause, stayed for the coffee! Justin's Java regular drip was delicious. The atmosphere is uplifting and encouraging. Their mission is to assist special needs adults in the Georgetown area from a truly Christ-like perspective. Staff was personable and engaging. Menu items reasonably priced. Gift shop is fully stocked with latest inspirational merchandise. This will be a regular stop when I'm in the area. read more

Our 1st time here & we loved it! The young lady that helped us was a doll. She was very knowledgeable about the restaurant & menu. We had the grilled cheese with a salad & blt wrap with the creamy tomatoes soup, all were very tasty. You have to try the blueberry green tea. It was yummy! Great place, we'll be back. read more

In my first review of BiG Cafe I gave them a 3 Star because I felt their prices are a little high for the amount of food that they serve. Well they have won me over now. I went a couple days ago and felt I needed to up the stars. They are very very nice and have excellent service there. And I decided this time to order the Zoodle plate. It's zucchini cut like noodles sautéed with a nice oil dressing and a side salad. Wow these Zoodels filled me up! It is what it is though. More of a tea room style place so no burgers, steaks or ribs here. So being what it is I give it a solid 4 Stars. I do plan to try their coffee soon and see how good it is. Can't wait for that. BiG (Brookwood in Georgetown) is an OUTSTANDING community in Georgetown with a wonderful mission! This nonprofit offers a supportive environment for adults with special needs. BiG has more than 32 participants who work making floral arrangements, bake, make jewelry or cards, grow produce and create pottery. It is wonderful to support them by eating in their Cafe and shopping in their store and nursery! The food is AWESOME and the shop is full of beautiful gifts! Their motto is "Helping others never tasted so good!" - stop by & help them out - you'll feel good about it!! read more

Super friendly! It was our first time there wanted to find a nice little brunch spot and we did! Everyone was wearing a mask and they had paper menus available as well as an online menu to look at. I had the sweet potato quiche with a side a fruit. The fruit wasn't just a bunch of melons either which is was so nice. My boyfriend got the Breakfast burrito and some toast and loved it. We had some GF Sinkerdodle cookies which they warmed up for us they were soft and super cinnamonie! So good. Their event place was super cute and nice definitely will be keeping it in mind for future use! read more

First time there...it's really cute! Because it was so soon after the ice blizzard / snow-pocalypse they hadn't gotten all of their food supplies in (y'all, we lost power for days! The salad was mixed greens with strawberries, blueberries, pumpkin seeds, and other seeds held together in clusters with pure maple syrup. A red wine vinaigrette. So good! The soup used a fresh cream and organic tomatoes. So much better than the other options nearby; Starbucks and Chipotle. Oh, and their coffee was better than Starbucks too! Love this place! Have been going once, sometimes twice a week for a couple of months now. I love the business and nonprofit it supports but sad to see the prices raised in the cafe. $7.50 for a fruit parfait is a bit much for breakfast.
