Bison burger

There are not that many restaurants to dine at in this area. My friend and I had to pick between this place and an Asian restaurant. We should have chosen Asian. This restaurant is on a golf course which is a nice setting. However, the customer service was lackluster. Our server, Natalia, was not very pleasant. I mean she took our order eventually and brought our food out, but her demeanor seemed like she was going through the motions. I ordered a bison burger with sweet tots. The sweet tots were okay, but I believe fries would have been a better choice and without the $1 up charge. To sub bison for a hamburger is a $4 up charge, and that was not worth it either. The burger was dry. We had a plane to catch so it wasn't like we had time to send our food back. I wouldn't go out of my way to ever eat here again, but if you are already using the golf course, it's convenient.

This was our first stop in Colorado after landing in for our winter ski trip. We had such a great meal. Try the nachos!! They had a great local seasonal beer too. Everything we had was so good. The service good as well. We're almost used to being rush (since we're from Florida) but the his was great. The restaurant's dining room was really nice too. Highly recommend you go.

Wow! A mere 10 minutes from the lunacy of Denver airport, and we feel lucky to have found this spot. The eatery serves a local, public golf course, so it is open to all. It is a large and ample dining room that is a chill post-golf vibe with high ceilings and fantastic views. The staff is SO friendly and attentive. The food was universally good and so reasonably priced. My HUGE grilled Caesar salad would be at least double in my hometown of Los Angeles. There were vegetarian and gluten-free options, even if they were not advertised as such. A very affordable lunch for 8 with a starter and ordering to our heart's content was $120. I would definitely recommend The Bison Grill if you are in the vicinity of Denver airport and looking for a non-chain, sit-down lunch option. Not fast, but fresh and tasty.

The food here is always delicious and fresh. It's well worth the price tag. The restaurant is often extremely busy on weekends and fridays so if you wanna get in go early. The ambience is very Colorado, making it a fun place to bring your out of town friends to.

fantastic tiny breakfast restaurant with a basic menu and a fantastic view. Food was delicious and prepared well. Staff was polite, not sure why it took so long to test this place out, makes for a great morning spot. Will certainly be back again.

Met up with a friend for lunch here, and I ordered their mixed greens salad with crispy chicken on top. It was fantastic! Their green chili ranch was a nice topping to this amazingly delicious salad. I am daydreaming about my next trip here to get this salad again. My friend really enjoyed her salad as well, she ordered a mixed green salad with salmon on top. The price of the salad was on point too. Great quality for a great price.

My and husband and I live near to the golf course and were surprised to find this great restaurant tucked away at the golf course.

The seating was quick and even though we had 7 people, including our granddaughter, we were seated without waiting and it was right around noon. Service was quick and efficient. A Denver Gem: State House (Commerce City) If you find…read moreyourself near the northern edge of Denver, State House in Commerce City is an absolute must-visit. It has that perfect "rustic-chic" Colorado vibe--warm, wood-accented, and welcoming--making it just as good for a casual lunch as it is for a weekend dinner. The Burger Battle * Bison Burger: This was the star of the show. It's lean but incredibly juicy, with a deep, rich flavor that puts standard beef to shame. * Pro Tip: Pairing it with the tomato bisque instead of fries was a game-changer. The soup was creamy, vibrant, and had a slight sweetness that cut through the richness of the bison perfectly. * Pub Burger: A classic done right. Two patties, perfectly seared, with a side dijonnaise that adds just the right amount of kick. It's everything a pub burger should be--messy in the best way possible. The side garden salad was surprisingly fresh and crisp, providing a nice light balance to the heavy-hitter burger. The Atmosphere & Service The space is beautiful--modern design meets local charm. We were particularly impressed by the service; the staff was attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they take pride in the locally sourced ingredients they're serving. The Verdict Whether you're a fan of wild game like the bison or you just want a solid, high-quality cheeseburger, State House hits the mark. It's rare to find a place where the "side" soup is just as memorable as the main course, but that tomato bisque is worth the trip alone. I'll definitely be back for another round of that bison burger!

There is a lovely patio and plenty of seating inside but this is a popular spot for good reason! Service is cheerful and expedient throughout. We started with the Mexican cold brew coffee and it might be the best coffee I have had in the area!! It was OUTSTANDING!!! Get it! It's the perfect blend of cold brew, horchata, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon and I think I could drink it everyday!! We each ordered a skillet, I had the chili relleno skillet with chicken and pancakes for the side and they must be putting magic in those pancakes because they were special. I'm not a big pancake person and I couldn't get enough. They were fluffy and yet they didn't fall apart and I could taste the vanilla they use in the batter. The skillet was massive and delicious and the rellenos were crisp all topped with a hearty portion of expertly prepared green chili. My husband had a different skillet and modified it to add extra proteins and also the rellenos. They were happy to accommodate. What a fabulous brunch experience! I wish I lived closer! I would certainly be a regular! This place is fabulous!!!!!

And having rainbow trout on regular menu is always a big plus. Theirs is some of the most solid, dependable, and delicious compared to their competitors. I loved how each flaky but delivered on its promise of scrumptiousness and subtlety. I would come here just for that honestly, though I've heard it's a great lunch place as well. The big letdown for both of us last night was the service. They were slow to take our orders, slow to get refills or ask if we needed anything, and slow to get us our bill. It was a trifecta of ineffectiveness. Our server was nice enough, but he definitely didn't make us feel like we were a priority at all. And that's something you should never do as a restaurant. The place was nice-looking enough and they had good energy from its patrons. It's just a shame the lack of good service kind of ruins the experience and makes us not want to visit this particular branch again on a return visit, whenever that might be.
