A classic order at the counter joint without much ambiance of note, Parasol's has the feel of a hole in the wall that is often my favorite kind of restaurant. The Po' boy doesn't need fancy ingredients, but it was incredibly dry and the bread was stale. The shrimps were alright but nothing special. Give them the benefit of the doubt that this was an off day. Reading through lots of the reviews, it seems like this happens occasionally. It would not be near my top recommendations for the area, but lots of people seem to love it.
