A quickie breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancake, were all we had, but everything was nicely done. The pancake was big, light and airy, served with a carafe of warm syrup and a huge scoop of butter. The scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy, the sausage was basically a Farmer John sausage patty that was properly warmed but not overcooked, and very good tasting. My only criticism was the coffee being too thin for my liking, but keeping our coffee mugs filled was something they definitely did well! The service was wonderful. They knew we were in a rush, and handled us with TLC the entire 35 minutes we had. What I do know is, I will be looking forward to our next tax appointment, hah, knowing our morning will start off right here. My husband ordered a beer and asked if they had non alcoholic beer for me to which the bartender( the older guy with glasses) said NO rudely. So I asked for a water instead. We then waited atleast 5 minutes to be given a menu by a different waiter. When we asked if we could order our food, the bartender snapped at me and said, I asked if you wanted a drink first. (Mind you I had asked for a non alcoholic so I wasn't drinking) The bartender seemed unable to manage making drinks and taking our food order and it wasn't very busy in the restaurant. At one point there were 3 people behind the bar arguing over something and we were still be ignored waiting to order food. After being talked to and treated that way we decided to leave and went to Rebels. When we told everybody we were leaving behind the bar, they all had a shock of look like why are you leaving.... There was no reason for the bartender to respond rudely or even make us wait when we were the only 2 patrons at the bar. Good customer service goes a long way, and this experience left me feeling very unwelcome. I hope that bartender improves his customer service and communication because the way we were treated was disappointing. I also hope whatever manager was on that evening knows that we were not treated very well. I am a local and will not be back there to give them my business or even recommend this place to anyone else.
