We arrived after looking up "Lunch near Airport" and this place popping with good reviews and a high TripAdvisor position. Gayle and I had a very enjoyable Lunch. The inside was bright, clean, well-appointed and spacious. Our wait person was friendly and prompt. I ordered the tomato bisque and grilled cheese special, while Gayle opted for a Patty Melt (with Fries). Both choices were delicious and just the right amount of food for me. Gayle left a fair amount of food on her plate, mostly due to a huge sandwich and lot for fries. I appreciated that this place offered beers that didn't have the word IPA in them, with my Oatmeal Stout being a great choice. Gayle went for her favorite Chardonnay preference. We both nursed our drinks and the fries as we were in no hurry to get the airport. The Library Restaurant and Pub was a solid choice, and one that we would repeat for either Lunch or Dinner.

We had no trouble getting a table at 1pm on a Tuesday, the occupied tables looked like business lunches and regulars. Our server was kind and gave us space to look over the menu. We were there for lunch, so we had a lunch menu, but the prices were the same as at dinner. I had always assumed it would be a restaurant full of books, but I was disappointed in that. It does have beautiful artwork replicas of Napoleon, some with funny additions. My husband had the fish and chips, which was a decent serving with very good homemade tartar sauce. I had half a sandwich and their broccoli soup. All in all, it was good enough food, in a nice enough setting, but not something we would come back for.

The ambiance was really nice--more polished and plush than what I expected from a cantina, but still relaxed and welcoming. The taco menu was creative with plenty of options, and kudos to the chef because everything we tried was flavorful. Service was fast, food came out quickly, and the portions were perfect for a post-conference bite before dinner. Overall, just a great vibe from start to finish. I'd definitely make a return trip next time I'm in Indianapolis.

She had the tacos Americano she got two ground beef and one carnitas. They came with pico de gallo, romaine, sour cream, shredded cheese. She enjoyed them. Didn't I get the level of enjoyment for them, she was able to put down one ground beef and one carnita. I ate the last. Not a big soft taco fan, but interior ingredients were flavorful. I was not a fan of the salsas that I tried. They did send over chips, that were in my opinion. They were crispy. Had no flavor of either salt nor lime on them. Definitely needed salsa, but as I mentioned earlier, the salsas were not very good. Good. I had a roasted red salsa, salsa Verde, plus chili de arbol. None of them, had anything going for them. That was positive. It tasted like it was just the ingredients without seasoning. The salsa Verde tasted like just green tomatoes, and the same for the red. The spicy one, tasted like Tomatoes and spicy peppers. The menu appeared to have a nice variety of different items. I would definitely give them a second chance on something else.

This is a nice minority owned small business that serves coffee and pastries. The owner was running things while I was there and he was very friendly and helpful. The shop is kind of retro and has a small dining area that you can enjoy your purchases it. I will admit, the pastries did not look too appealing to me. They looked like they had been there a while. They have a small coffee menu that is direct and to the point. My friend order a coffee Americano and I asked the barista for something sweet and tasty. He suggested a Somali tea. It did not take long for us to get our drinks. My friend said his was good. Much better than the chain coffee shop that starts with S. Mine was good too. It was piping hot. I had to let it cool down a bit, before I could fully enjoy it. This shop has some very reasonable prices. You can't beat them. It has great ownership and a cozy/quaint dining area. I recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

Perfect for a cold winter day. I also like trying the variety of Somalian baked goods. They are not as sweet as American ones, which I appreciate, but they are delicious and keep me coming back for more. The coffee shop is small, but inviting, and it's a special place that is worth a visit.
