Sat at the bar for 10 minutes until I was able to communicate with an employee to request a menu & glass of water. 12 minutes after that I had neither of the requested items so I walked out. This is a great place for dine in and take out. The Delta is very clean and calm place to stay when you're company truck breaks down and you're here for a few weeks. very accommodating They Even let me custom build orders. The staff are very friendly everything else Is top notc. I highly recommend it. Being an OTR finding great food and service is a true Gem thanks and Mariah , Gillian, Deanna have made each breakfast, lunch and dinner memorable. We were hesitant about stopping here due to the rating as we were on our way to the airport with a few hours of flight delay. However, we are happy we gave this place a chance. We were able to watch Sunday football games, which was our goal, along with having a great meal. The food was exceptional for a hotel restaurant...the goat cheese flatbread was delish! I'm little hesitant to do 5 stars seeing as it was dead an we came a hour before close time. There is ALOT of potential ,service was good drinks was so-so she said she was new and learning as she went,food came out hot but the plates was extremely hot like they nuked them or they sat in the lamp too long but overall was tasty. I think they need to take few tables away an set up some entertainment would makes this place a destination eatery not just for people staying but the locals around the area because the lack of spots in the area already give it a try don't know how it will be if it was busy but my experience was good read more

Hangar 58 is located in the newish Delta Marriott and gas a lot of potential. It's a great space with lots of TVs for sports. Our group had an assortment of the appetizers which were very good. The wings were surprisingly hot no matter what flavor we ordered, the cheese curds were tasty, and the pretzel bites were wonderful. The service was good too despite one server calling out and the bartender had to serve everyone. While all of that was really great, I can only give three stars because the main dishes were not very good at all. The salads were lackluster, the pasta had barely any flavor, and the pizza was mediocre at best. I had the cheeseburger. I could taste everything on that burger with the exception of the meat. It was perfectly round with grill marks. It was surprisingly juicy, but again, flavorless. I think it was a frozen patty. McDonald's makes a tastier burger. I found this quite surprising since the drinks and appetizers were made so well. My suggestion when staying at this hotel: go for the drinks and appetizers and find dinner elsewhere. read more

Buried in a hotel that I wasn't staying in, which I never would not have gone had I known that. Food was ok but not worth the price, priced for a trapped audience. Whole reason I went there was for deep fried cauliflower and they were out. Kitchen was backed up and couldn't accept orders. Service was severely understaffed and inexperienced but friendly and trying hard to accommodate. The big screen tv was not working. Felt bad for the staff, I got the feeling that the staff is doing the best they can with a serious lack of competent management. read more

For an airport hotel restaurant, it was pretty good. They were out of the first 2 beers I wanted to order (their Hefeweizen and Cream Ale), and ended up with a Modelo, which was pretty good, but nothing special. This was a quick stop before heading the airport, and I did try a buffalo wing or two from my boss's plate, and they were good too. If you're staying at the Delta hotel by Marriott (by the airport), this would be a place to eat without venturing out and about (there didn't appear to be much nearby). This is the restaurant/bar inside the Delta Hotel. The place is larger with lots of bar seating and large tables in the bar area. With many TVs all around so it would be a good place for a group to watch a game. They have a fair selection of beers on tap and a full bar. We only had pizza which was good. I rarely post my opinions as I am generally quite easy-going when it comes to eating out. But this place is troubling in so many levels. The food is beyond unacceptable. The chicken wings are not only dry, I am certain that they have been refried from wings that were prepared days ago. The meat look and taste like hard plastic. My chicken Alfredo has no taste and the whole dish is drown in white tasteless paste. The whole dinner is so bad that I almost threw up! When it comes to service, I would not even give them 1 star. First this place was empty. That would be a warning sign. The staff makes you feel like you were bothering them. I ordered the food from this girl and came back less than 10 mins later to pick up. She acted like she never seen me and did not remember what I ordered at all. She was there playing with her phone when there were no customers. read more

A mid summers night, business the occasion prompted an overnight stay at the Delta hotel of Indianapolis. Not a long journey from the hotel's lobby, the remnants of Ole Chicago Pizza set the scene. A lack of a warm greeting with an icy crisp beer, local by name. The only redeeming quality of this establishment. Yes, the ambience of sporting televisions, of which, non appeared to sync with the audio that player overhead. An older women made her way up to the bar to take the order. "Pizza or Burgers, would you suggest". "We used to be an Old Chicago Pizza" she mentioned. A pizza inspired by the people of Buffalo New York, is what I ordered. "That'll be a few minutes" A moment passed as I pondered my decision... a pizza? From a hotel bar? What have I become? Before I knew it, a monstrosity emerged from the kitchen. Oozing rivers of ranch style dressing, saturating the semi stale crust. Chicken tender pieces dunked in Buffalo aside a mountain of pickled jalapeños. Expectations in a hotel pizza bar near the airport shouts into the abyss, "Person sized pizza!" A 14" the only reply. "A box!" I asked for in defeat. For I could not fight the mighty dragon that had emerged. Only a cold beer would redeem this evening as I shuffled along though the lobby... up the elevator... into my room for the night. She lay there crying for mercy, the protein had been eaten. The ranch soaked crust lay flaccid. Not today, nor tomorrow would I recommend the pizza. read more

We visited last night. Our dinner was excellent. The service was good even though it was pretty packed. The bar is very nice if you're looking to have a drink. They had quite a selection of beers. Ordered some wings and they were awesome. Buffalo and mango habanero. They were nice and crispy and the sauce was good. Had a little kick but not too spicy. Pizza was really good as well. Hangar 58. I'm a pilot so I liked the name and saw the reviews were 3+ Driving to the place I saw the sign had an airplane in the logo so that's a good start. That's about when the imminent stall occurred. The restaurant was in the lobby of a hotel. Not always bad, but a tell tale sign. I walked up to the"Automatic Doors" that were shut off. Strike One. Walked over to the hotel entrance and entered. Headed into the restaurant where theIr sign said to wait to be seated. I looked around and it was less than 10% occupied. It's 7pm on a Tuesday so I don't think much about the sparse attendance. I waited at the greeter stand for about 4 minutes, and after no one was evidently going to show up, I walked up to the bar to be ignored by the haggard aged woman bartender. STRIKE 2. After about 3 minutes, I walked around to the side of the bar and a woman around 30 years old with face piercings came around and stood next to the bartender and they just looked at me. I asked if they were serving dinner and the younger one said yes and to sit anywhere I'd like. I turned to pick a table and was alerted by the older one not to sit at a big table. STRIKE 3. The place was almost empty! I turned and told them maybe I should go somewhere else and they just stared. So I started walking out and the younger one followed me to the greeter station and grabbed a menu. I told her to never mind. I get that a lot of service industry people don't care about their job much anymore but what's this world coming to? Have a little pride. Have some work ethic. It seems people think the COVID excuse is good for life. I pity them. I ended up at the Checkered Flag Tavern where they actually smile and have pride in their work. It's a little noisy but normal for a bar-restaurant, and an upbeat atmosphere. (I was told to move my table so I wouldn't get hit by a dart (league night).) They have their own smoker house. Wow! $21 for a standard Bloody Mary. I've seen other comments about the price of this venue's drinks. It wasn't a bad drink, however on the river walk in Milwaukee I can get a large Bloody Mary for $12 that includes a shrimp, pepperoni stick, cheese strings, olives, and veggies at multiple venues for $12. When I got the check I thought I develop dyslexia...nope! People need a warning before being charged this much for a drink. Once you drink it it's too late to change your mind. The interior is akin to a sports bar and the separated restaurant sitting area by a wall divider Empty and void of customers. It's just not busy today with Hotel guests or customers. I don't know if that has to deal with a non busy travel period in early November or something else? Anyway, I had the Denver omelette for $11.95. I asked for the fruit as a substitute instead of the home fried potatoes. One slice of toasted sourdough bread accompanied since out of whole wheat. The staff while responded to multiple requests just acted and had seemed disinterested. No refilled water glass. The prices here are reasonable but next door in the hotel lobby, the Starbucks kiosk look out! $7.10 for a Grande Hot Americano with 1 extra espresso shot at $1.50 a pop. It was an interesting looking place, but was actually pretty boring and sterile. They had 32 beers on tap, but the bartender had a hard time explaining what they were and they didn't have a printed list. No happy hour or food specials. It's name is Hanger 58 because it's next to the airport, but no aviation props. Ended up leaving without ordering any food or drinks. :-( read more
