So first, I'll start by saying they changed their name. It's THE BLAZIN' CLAW now. But it's still really good. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to take a photo of anything but went to grab lunch with kids and family for Father's Day lunch the weekend after. First I we got two number 2 combos and shared, one super spicy with every spice and one basic no spice with just garlic butter and lemon butter. It was really good, but I have to down them on the king crab legs & sausage. First, no sausage at all but it says it comes in the combo, but we got none at all. Then the crab legs were not big at all, might as well have been snow crab legs to be honest. I didn't even get a feeding claw, let alone a defense claw if you know the difference. Husband got scallops and that was amazing! He also got garlic noodles. He said they were good but the garlic was a bit to heavy. Our girls got the chicken tenders and French fries. This was great for price and amount. It was a lot. Had a lot of leftovers. Next, service was absolutely great. Our waitress was Arianna, I remember because she had the same name. She was absolutely amazing and was super patient with my daughters, especially my youngest. The ambiance, okay I guess. Tables were a bit wobbly and the music station was a short play list of repeat. Also the decor was very nautical, but okay. Overall I enjoyed it. Would go again, but they gotta fix crab legs and no sausage because you are paying a lot. read more

I've been here a few times and it's alright. It's fine for the area and what it is. Will you be satisfied if you're craving shrimp boil, probably not but if you just need something to hold you over, that's nearby and you don't have the time or want to drive farther it's okay, I guess. It's not good, but it's not inedible. The shrimp is often overcooked causing the shell to stick the meat like it's been shrink wrapped. Sauce is meh, sometimes there's too much Cajun powder and other times it's just oily. Overall meh, go if you must. Also, there's a very fishy smell when you first enter the restaurant from the parking lot. Not good fishy either like fishy, fish has been sitting out in the heat smell. The service is great, and it has a wonderful ambience. Compared to other such joints, the signature sauce was just OK to me. I'm used to eating ones with tastier sauces out in the little Saigon area in orange county. The server was attentive to our table, and the prices were very reasonable. I had seen this restaurant when I afines next door at Eureka, but was encouraged to try it when my daughter said there was real crab in the Crab fried Rice and it had a really good taste. She also raved about the Garlic Noodles but I couldn't eat both. I ordered the rice and wanted to try some of there wings so I asked the person taking my order by phone which ones she suggested...she gave me the skinny on all of them and I decided on the Cajun Buffalo Wings. Parking is TERRIBLE because they share a very small space with the aforementioned restaurant. There is limited street parking as there are other businesses as well. I was very disappointed to see that there was no designated Carry Out parking. I drove around the lot three times and finally just put on my hazard lights and ran in. Place was popping, food was ready. I still get offended with the tip question when I called in and placed the order, I paid for the order and I walked into the restaurant to get my order...Tip why? Fried rice was good, (my daughter said the one in Fontana has a better taste). Nice size portion for the $12+ but very little crab and only 3 or 4 shrimp. I did however enjoy the wings. Food was mediocre & the service was just as mid. Spit out my food twice. Once being feces in the shrimp then second time being the mussel I had eaten, mouth full of guts and taste like . My corn wasn't cooked all the way, was so hard a dog wouldn't eat it, and my boyfriends chicken tenders looked like $10 Tyson chicken tenders from stater bros.. make the extra drive somewhere else for seafood boil there ain't any in good ones in this area.. And our server Elizabeth needs an attitude adjustment if she wanna be a server.. God forbid ur table wants gloves and more beer... Saw her a total of maybe 2 times at our table, and the place was empty. It was a Tuesday. This is an amazing take on Boiling Crab, and close to home! Very affordable options and I love that you can purchase the shrimp headless for easy and faster eating. Our favorite option is to get all the seasonings mixed together and spice level medium. Their cajun garlic fries are also a must and taste yummy dipped in the bagged sauce. They gave an amazing beer selection and you can even purchase beer by the tower! Makes for a fun date night or night out with friends. The service is quick and the servers make themselves avail should you need anything. The restaurant is small and although I have never had to wait for a seat l, I'm sure it gets busy around peak dinner hours on the weekend. The parking lot is fairly small and shared with other popular restaurants so we usually have to park across the street in the overflow parking lot or on the street. I got the garlic noodles and added shrimp. Decent size shrimp but SO blah. Covered in seasoning that was bland and dry!!! The noodles looked good, but again, sticky and dry. The garlic had an off taste to it. Doubt seriously they're using fresh garlic. Asked for a side of butter- thinking I could inprove it a bit. The cup of yellow oil they gave me was an immediate NO! We ordered number two, which cost around $64, plus some oysters, and my husband had a beer. Unfortunately, the food was awful; it was overly salty. We received more mussel shells than actual mussels, and the service was terrible. The waitress was hardly available, didn't offer any drink refills, and barely said a word except to bring us the bill. I will never go there again--it's definitely overrated. read more

Food was good, and our server was nice and quick! Like other reviews I'm taking 1 star off for only one woman's and one men's restroom which is problematic and there's no outside sink which a lot of people go just for too. My gripe and loss of another star is they closed both restrooms down about 30 mins before closing with at least 5-6 tables still in the restaurant. I heard 2 kids come back to their table saying it was closed and then saw a lady go back with a mop, we thought maybe someone made a mess but when I saw her return the cleaning supplies I went to go use the restroom and it was still closed. I understand the side work before leaving can be time consuming but you have customers eating drinking and getting messy, closing the restrooms down early to get out early is not good practice. read more

First and last time ! Horrible experience! Food was too salty and it had a weird taste. The wait was about 45 min and one of the waitresses was super rude when she told us to wait outside for our table . She could have said it nicer or friendly to us the customers. On top of all that, she was the one serving our table so even though we weren't 6 people on our tab , she still charged that charge of 15% to our receipt! When it states that is only for 6 people or more. I wouldn't have had an issue tipping but she was incredibly rude from the beginning, didn't even asked us to refill our cups. The restrooms were a mess and super dirty! I do not recommend. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Food: is okay , taste wise just fine. Nothing special. Something that expected in cajun style seafood. Service: dissapointing. Waiting to be seated , about 20 minutes after we put our name. Behind us there's 2 other groups. They got their order taken first than us. They got their foods first before us. I have to ask the host to take our order, if not maybe we will wait longer. From sitting until the foods in our table , about 1 hr. (asking 2 times, where's our order). Ambiance: very loud music, the wall looks so dirty, very dirty style I bet. Idk what kind of style was the interior. Saw 3 "greeters" by the entrance, they don't help for taking order or server. Only 3 server who taking order with full crowded place. It's on Sunday around 2 pm, The parking is hard too. Have to share with Eureka burger next door and other bussiness in the plaza. Have to walk to parked in the street. Tuesday is my day! A cute, petite server gave me the scoop after her shift at a neighboring happy hour & now Tuesdays are my jam! I wish I could remember her name since she gave me so many useful tidbits...buy 2 pounds of shrimp, get 1 free on Tuesdays; the wings are decent & don't waste your time on anything other than the blazin sauce;) Happy hour drinks were a good size--& strength lol and the homemade DJ makes the ambiance fun. read more

I recently had ordered the combo A, 2 pounds of shrimp 1 pound of clams to go. Omg all the shrimps were so mushy, my son and his friend wouldnt eat them, if i had dined in i would have sent them back and i have never sent anything back before in my life, but, you really couldn't eat them. Unfortunately, it was just an okay experience. Compared to other seafood boil spots, the San Bernardino location just wasn't as flavorful. It honestly felt like they forgot to add the garlic to our sauce until the last minute because the garlic pieces were still hard and crunchy instead of soft and infused into the sauce. Biting into raw, crunchy garlic throughout the meal wasn't enjoyable. The shrimp was decent, but the clams were overcooked and very dry. The crawfish also didn't taste as fresh as we've had elsewhere. Nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out either. Maybe the food is better dining in, but based on this order, we'll probably skip this location in the future and stick with other seafood boil spots.

That's why it's cut the way it is--it allows the fish to get nice and crispy all over. If you like your mojarra extra crispy, definitely ask for it this way. They were happy to accommodate, and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. My husband ordered one of the combo plates, and he really enjoyed his meal as well. The service was excellent. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive, and checked on us throughout our meal without being overbearing. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We enjoyed our one cocktail each here and just had great conversation. It was a fun night because of the company, and also because we had a little adventure going to two amazing places!

We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.
