This place is perfect for a hot Feb day! Crazy that it gets up to 90° in Feb but when it's hot go to the blend. The staff were so friendly. Their menu is huge filled with bowls, smoothies and super foods. They waited patiently while I made a decision. Ultimately I chose something off the kids menu. I got a strawberry banana smoothie I know it's basic but it literally tasted like the Haley Bieber smoothie from erewhon. I also loved how the size wasn't crazy big. recently stopped by The Blend at The Collection in Oxnard after trying their newer Ojai location and wanted to share my thoughts on both the cafe itself and the overall setting. The Blend serves up fresh, hand-crafted acai bowls, smoothies, and juices made from real, nutrient-dense ingredients -- no artificial stuff, no sorbet, no ice cream fillers, just wholesome superfood blends that actually taste great. Their Classic and specialty bowls are generous, refreshing, and filling, with smooth texture and fresh fruit flavors that hit the spot whether you're grabbing breakfast, a post-workout snack, or a midday treat. Ingredients are thoughtfully sourced, and it's obvious that quality matters here. The Oxnard location is nestled inside The Collection at Riverpark, which is a large outdoor shopping and entertainment center with a wide range of restaurants, stores, and activities. You can easily make a day of it -- grab a smoothie bowl after shopping, explore retail (everything from Whole Foods to fashion and accessories), eat at sit-down restaurants or quick bites, and enjoy family-friendly outdoor spaces. I heard they opened in Ojai and I had to support. Got the PB Berry Açaí Bowl and it was delicious on a warm Ojai day. I got the large size with no goji... subbed almonds. Yum yum! Great service . I got my bowl pretty quickly. As of 6.19.25 bowl is $16.95 and I also left a tip. Seating outside with shade. Chill place . I would come back. I love the Oxnard location! Which I go to often and reminder to update my review there , it's been a minute. My fam's fave açaí place. They have açaí bowls, smoothies, wellness shots and a few other items. I ordered the green smoothie and also got to try a complimentary wellness shot after checking in on Yelp. I really appreciated the freshness of the smoothie and the wellness shot. The smoothie had the perfect level of sweetness and was so refreshing on a hot, late summer day. I super appreciate how thoughtful and attentive the staff was when I told them I had a nut allergy. It really made me feel very taken care of. I couldn't recommend this place more! read more

I really wanted to rate this place high but the pricing honestly is outrageous. Blending fruit isn't expensive and shouldn't be expensive to buy. People who want to eat healthy have to spend more money and thats discouraging. That being said the staff here is polite and respectful. The food once you spend a lot is actually very good. We will come back maybe once a few months. If it was reasonable I would say more often. Not a great rating but for two bowls it was almost $40!! read more

Recently visited The Blend at the new Ojai location for the second time. It was a very busy Sunday and so there was a wait for my bowl (I ordered the Hawaiian) but the staff were friendly and efficient and the bowl was delicious and refreshing on a warm Summer day. The seating area is cute and they have added a retractable canopy to provide shade, which is nice. The seating is pretty limited when they're busy and when I was there, there was really standing room only-but you can totally order to go, and behind the arcade there are lots of areas to sit and enjoy. Very happy to see business doing so well - in addition to those dining in there were a number of people coming in to pick up orders placed by phone ( I didn't see a way to place an order online so I'm guessing) their smoothies looked fantastic as well. One of the most popular is called the ocean breeze, and is a beautiful blue color- I will have to give that a try next time. read more

Not only are the smoothies beautiful but they taste delicious and they have so many different options for supplements and additions. I always order the Ocean Breeze ( pictured) and I add 10 g of pea protein ( vanilla flavored) and bee pollen. 10/10. The staff is always patient and welcoming as well and I love that they offer promos and give you their opinions on what tastes good. I haven't tried their bowls yet but they look delicious! My only complaint is that it's a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to taste and visual appeal. Truly love these bowls and the gals were so sweet! The inside of the shop is so fresh and this is the perfect addition to Ojai. I was very excited to try our new açaí bowl spot...based on the lackluster customer service (maybe the employees need more superfood/mushroom coffee to be able to muster the energy to walk an order out vs yelling ineffectually through a closed door?) , they apparently need to badger you about food allergies (I got asked and explained three times that no I am NOT allergic to cashews, I just am not recommended to eat them), then followed the blank looks / Xiennial Stares Of Death with pestering me to get on Yelp for a free energy shot (which they didn't even bother to give us) let's just say after all that we took three bites and my husband had to go back in and ask for honey (which he could not get a drizzle of without an up charge ) as their recipes are ...semi tasteless. Again perhaps the employees need to be a bit more familiar with their menu items. Definitely Meh. Good portion sizes, not sure anything is organic though. read more

Established in 2015.

The Blend was founded by two Ojai locals who believe in true wellness. Growing up, healthy food options were limited. Although there was smoothie shops around to grab something quick on the go, the drinks were always made with unhealthy ingredients and full of sugar. Tired of drinking sugary blends, it was time to bring in something new. From the beginning, the plan was to make a menu using only real, nutrient dense ingredients. At the same time, the goal was to avoid ice cream, sorbet, sherbet and anything artificial. With about one year of trial and error, the menu was created. And in 2015, The Blend Superfood Bar was born

My husband and I have different likes so the one I didnt like he liked and the one he didnt like I liked. It worked out. The matcha affogato was perfect. Ice cream was delciious. Like previously, workers were super sweet and friendly. We sat outside because we had our dogs and they were nice and brought the drinks out to us. Overall, my husband and i still love this place. Once we start our Ojai walks again we will be coming more often again.

Everything was mainly fresh using local and organic ingredients handcrafted in Ojai. Flights were offered, but I didn't get a chance to check it out due to a time frame we had. Instead, I just ordered a 12 ounce cup of Beach Cruiser consisting of coconut chai to go. Super refreshing especially on a hot day. Wasn't too sweet or overpowering. I wish I had stayed to do a flight, but will definitely stay longer next time. So if you are a fan of kombucha, this is the spot.

Service was quick and most of the staff had a warm, genuine energy about them. The one small snag; the cashier seemed to be having a rough one. A little gruff, made me feel like my first visit was mildly inconvenient for them. It happens, we all have bad days, but first impressions do stick a little. Overall though, I'm absolutely coming back. There's more on that menu calling my name and an atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down for a bit. I feel like I've had them before, but I've certainly had many other types of similar greens and they had one single flavor which was extreme bitterness. It was just completely devoid of any other seasoning, salt, acid, SOMETHING, although with how better it was, I'm not sure much could be done. I just can't imagine that was the way it was intended to taste. For dessert, we had the old-fashioned doughnut bread pudding, which had a delicious marionberry ice cream on top and a sharp lemon blueberry compote on the side. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I definitely return to celebrate a special experience although I'd probably be a little more selective on some of my food choices next time.

The space itself is beautiful and peaceful. There were around 10 olive oils and 10 balsamic vinegars to try. My favorites were the TH (Tuscan Herbs) olive oil and the traditional balsamic. The flavored balsamics were interesting and fun to taste, though I still personally preferred the classic options. Overall, such a fun and worthwhile stop if you're in the Ojai area. Paid $20 for two people. Also, bonus points because they happily give extra sourdough bread if you need more :)

If you know me, then you already know... this is my happy place…read more I don't even know where to begin because this place has become so much more than a tasting room to me. Majestic Oak is my happy place. Seriously. The second I walk downstairs, I instantly relax. I don't know what it is... maybe it's the red umbrellas, the beautiful greenery, the cozy little patio, or just the overall atmosphere. I close my eyes for a second, take a deep breath, and it honestly feels like I've escaped into my own little world. I come here about once a month, and there's a reason I became a wine club member. Yes, the location is absolutely beautiful, but let's talk about the wine... every. single. one. has been amazing. I'm usually more of a red wine girl, but even their whites have surprised me. They're crisp, refreshing, and just plain delicious. I honestly haven't had a wine here that I didn't love. But what really keeps me coming back is the people. Rita deserves the biggest shout-out. It's not just that she takes amazing care of us every time we visit. It's her personality. Her knowledge. Her passion for the wines. She makes you feel like you've been friends forever, and somehow every visit feels even more special because she's there. She has this way of making everyone feel welcome, and that kind of hospitality is something you can't teach. For me, Majestic Oak isn't just somewhere to drink wine. I recently tried The Routine and Max Hydration smoothies at The Blend, and they were both amazing! You can really taste the quality -- the ingredients are super clean, fresh, and healthy. I love how they focus on wellness without sacrificing flavor. The staff is also a huge plus! Everyone was so welcoming, sweet, and attentive. A little gruff, made me feel like my first visit was mildly inconvenient for them. It happens, we all have bad days, but first impressions do stick a little. Overall though, I'm absolutely coming back. There's more on that menu calling my name and an atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down for a bit.
