Upon entering, I was told to grab a seat wherever I liked. I had to wait a bit for a menu as there was some confusion on who was serving me I guess. But ultimately, my waiter was very nice! I decided to order the wonton nachos and pear goat cheese salad. And a Pepsi (they carry Pepsi products; no Mountain Dew though). I didn't wait long for my food. My salad came out first. It was pretty good! The greens and onion were fresh. The house balsamic was excellent. The spiced walnuts were nice and sweet. The pears were too bland for the flavors of the salad and got lost in it but I appreciated knowing I was eating something so balanced! The goat cheese was good but would have liked just a tad more with it. Overall a good salad! The wonton nachos were ok. They didn't blow me away but it was cool to try something different with the wontons instead of tortilla chips. My teenager was happy to eat them! Overall, not a mind-blowing experience, but not a bad one either. If I came back, I would try a different combo of items I think. Atmosphere is very casual and has tables, booths, seats at the bar, and several TVs. Private parking lot for the plaza it's in.

Review of The Blind Pig - Niagara Falls Stopped in at The Blind Pig while visiting Niagara Falls and had a great experience overall. My wife went with the fish and chips, and I had the whisky burger -- both were solid choices. The fish was crispy and flaky, and the fries were seasoned just right. My burger was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had that nice kick from the whisky glaze. We started off with the pork belly appetizer, which was rich, tender, and full of flavor -- definitely recommend that one. For dessert, we had the ice cream-filled hazelnut crepes, which were the surprise highlight. They were light, crispy, and not overly sweet -- a great finish to the meal. The atmosphere was fun and lively -- a little on the loud side, but that's to be expected in a pub setting. Lots of people chatting and laughing, but it still had a cool vibe and felt welcoming. Would definitely go back again. Great food, good drinks, and a casual, upbeat place to spend an evening.

I reviewed the menu on Yelp before bringing the family here for lunch. We had the peach salad, the harvest salad, the kids pizza, the Caesar salad salad, and the big pig burger. The food was excellent. Everyone was very happy. If we come back to Niagara, we will likely eat here again.

This quiet tucked away spot was recommended by Yelp and worth finding. The food was good, the game was on and the drinks were poured by a lovely bartender. Service was super friendly but super slow (though kudos for advanced warning that it would be). The wonton nachos were amazing, like give me the recipe and I'll make these myself, every night, amazing! Despite its favorable features in multiple reviews, I'd have to skip giving five, or even four, stars to the pork belly. Some pieces were tasty but about half the dish was dry. Flat soda was the piece de resistance to make this meal mostly decent but I can't do wrong by the nachos or the extreme kindness of our server to give less than four stars. read more

We're power walking in Ontario, Canada looking for something different to eat. The most delicious combo pickles and fries I've had ever eaten. The favor was just on point. Server was on his A Game! He took care of the entire place all by himself! To start we had wine & margaritas and then I ordered the Korean fried chicken and a side salad for my meal and my husband had the Cubano for his entree. Food, drinks, and service didn't disappoint! We came here for a meal after a Costco run yesterday and the food we ordered was really not very good. We're sometimes quiet about complaining but the server didn't ask us if the food was ok as he was very busy. It ended up being very expensive and the food was really disappointing. The one plus was the beer we ordered was extremely good, crisp and not a bad price. read more

In Niagara Falls visiting and found this gem on Yelp. Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere, and our waiter Tyler was so friendly and attentive. I had the barbacoa tacos which were seasonal, but were probably the best meal I've had in months. Would highly recommend! read more

Me and my girlfriend had a pretty unforgettable experience for Valentines Day. PROS +SERVICE: Our waiter / bartender / cook Eddie was very attentive and sweet. We asked for a number of recommendations, both for drinks and for food. They were spot on. I noticed him making our cocktails and frying our food, taking turns in the kitchen and behind the bar. Talk about a jack of all trades. +ATMOSPHERE: We swung by at around 11pm on a Friday after a late work shift. The joint started to really get busy around midnight! + FOOD: the food was absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend the lobster mac and cheese. We wanted drinks on the sweeter side so he custom made a few cocktails for us. My girlfriend's coconut mojito was out-of-this-world. Thank you for such a wonderful time, we will definitely be back. Best place to eat if you visit Niagara Falls on the Canada side. It's where the locals go so you know it's the best. When I mentioned my plans to go there to a WEGO driver and hotel staff both said the Blind Pig was their favorite place around and both expressed wishing they could come with us. It's off the red line and about 10 minutes away for the main touristy area but worth the trip. read more

Our last night in Niagara and found this diamond in the rough. Best tasting food since we've been here. Great prices, great taste and the service was super friendly, helpful and inviting. Been here 3 times and from the outside, never would have tried it. A bartender at another restaurant recommended it to us. Been great all 3 times. Great food and the best value in town. They have a special each day and the specials are great value (typically $10-15$ off. Great Wednesday date night special. And we just learned they offer bottle corkage with free corkage fee on Tuesday. Also, brunch on Sunday is great! read more

Buttermilk Fried Chicken - 3/5 Quite a small portion, especially with the 2 tiny pieces of chicken. 1/4 of the chicken was breading and not even meat. The chicken itself was burnt on a few of the outside edges so thats all you can taste throughout the chicken. The gravy, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and asparagus were tasty but nothing spectacular. Overall the small chicken portion size and the burnt flavour was a big disappointment. read more

The Blind Pig is a cozy little gastro pub near Niagara Falls. After a long day of sight seeing, we just wanted to relax and have some good food, and this was the spot we picked. The place is small, but they were very nice to accomodate us, since we were a party of eleven. The food here tries to put its own signature taste with traditional bar fare. We ordered the bourbon glazed pork belly, cubano and the brisket sandwich. Bourbon glazed pork belly: was cooked perfectly, but the glaze itself was not anything out of the ordinary. It tasted more like a honey garlic glaze Cubano: from somebody who has been to Miami and have tasted real cuban sandwiches, this was a decent take on it. The sandwich was missing flavours that would have reminded me of Miami. They also used an italian bread which is not used in the original Cubano. The brisket sandwich: was pretty good, had a tangy and spicy taste to it. It was also a decent size, we had to share the sandwich because it was big piece. Overall the experience was good, it was the best food i have had, but it was definitely better than the food available on Cliffton Hills. The vibe and coziness of the restaurant plus the food makes this place a great alternative to your touristy restaurants in the Niagara falls area. read more

This place has the best food and service! Friendly waitstaff and bar atmosphere. Even though it was pouring rain people were still coming in. The food is the best in Niagara Falls. Don't go to Clifton Heights to eat. You'll pay the tourist tax and high prices there. I ordered the pork belly and could've found this meal in any fine dining establishment. We were in town visiting Niagara Falls, and I can definitely say if we lived around here, The Blind Pig would become our regular haunt. Don't let the unassuming storefront fool you, this is a wonderful place! Madison was our server and was so helpful and kind. The Cheese Ravioli Primavera tasted amazing, and I ordered it with the Jackson-Triggs Cab Cab wine, which was great. We loved it so much we came back the next night! That night we got the Bleu Cheese Burger and the Chicken Quinoa Salad with chicken. Again great service and vibe. Made us wish we lived in the area so we could come back and try more things off the menu! All around great experience, highly recommend. read more

This was a nice option away from the Niagara Falls tourist center. I got the chicken pesto sandwich with goat cheese. It wasn't very good. I don't think goat cheese goes well with pesto. My son loved the burger. Husband enjoyed the short ribs. Staff was nice. read more

Review time kids!!! So the bride and I gave this place a shot. We are soooo glad we did!! Inside is a little dark but cool and clean! Our server was nothing short of excellent,Super nice and helpful! On to the chow. Starting dinner with the Korean fried wings was a mistake! Although there was nothing wrong with our burgers, following the wings is like me trying to follow Frank Sinatra(yeah,good luck kid!). Seriously though our dinner was very good !! read more

Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering. Excellent! The vibe of this place is awesome, the food is phenomenal, pleasant and attentive staff, the works! Fish and chips were perfectly cooked and a delicate balance of soft and flaky fish and extra crispy batter. Sweet potato fries are usually not terribly crispy - they are here!!! And the sauce to dip them in is an amazing play on your tongue with the sweetness of what seems to be mayo/ketchup and the tail end of spice and heat. Caesar salad with bacon. Need I say more? Visited The Blind Pig and tried their Big Pig Burger, and it did not disappoint. The "secret sauce" often translates to a Big Mac-style flavor, but theirs was better--richer, more unique, and definitely memorable. The burger itself was satisfying, with great balance and fresh ingredients. What really stood out were the prices and daily specials, making it a great value for the quality of food. While it didn't quite hit a perfect 5 for me, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Niagara Falls and craving a solid burger experience.
