One of the best burgers in the area. Absoutley hands down one the best tasting, juicy burger we've had. Fries were fresh & crisp, well cooked. You want great service, amazing food and a beautiful atmosphere, this is the place. They were out of something on the menu and the management went out of their way to make up for it. I substituted shrimp for what I really wanted and it was delicious. My husband got the burger and said it was one of the best he's ever had. We ended things with a bushwacker and it was soooo good. I sooo wanted to love this restaurant. The location is fabulous and they have had multiple challenges with their opening and the ongoing construction at the pier. The first visit we had the Royal Reds. I don't know what they did to those poor shrimp but they were awful. They were limp? Not sure how they got that way but they were no good. I figured it was just working out the newness of the place. Several months later went back for a second time and ordered the Grouper tacos. Well, first of all they were not grouper. Grouper is a thicker fish, I was presented with 2 very thin pieces of dried out COLD fish. Terrible. My friend odered the shrimp tacos. They were RAW!! We both complained and got NO response from the wait staff. I will not eat there again. read more

Man, we really wanted to like this place. We gave it a second try months after opening, and it sadly was not any better. I'll start by saying our server was very nice and on top of things, but at one point, a guy came by saying there was a shift change and he'd be our server. She continued to come back, so that was confusing. There was drama, once again, at the host stand, with people accusing other people of taking their stuff and arguing over sections. I ordered a salad that came with no dressing, and when I asked for some, she said "we only have ranch. There's no vinaigrette" which is what I had ordered. The salad was sad, the rice in rice and beans was not at all cooked and my son's quesadilla was black on the outside because they're not properly cleaning their grill. I joked with my husband that I should probably call John Taffer on the way out. Very disappointed, as we're locals who enjoy a meal out and have tons of visitors. read more

Glad to see this place finally open in Fairhope. Parking is a challenge just like any other place in downtown Fairhope, but it's a great venue for fresh seafood and ambiance is great on the water. This place will only get better as it evolves, and will be a go to spot outside when the temperature cools down. We had some Royal Reds, Grouper Tacos and dessert. Had some nice wine, really good draft beer ( Cahaba) and can't wait to come back. If you have anyone in your party that has trouble walking, I suggest bringing a wheelchair. Went to the soft opening. This isn't typical bar food. It was unique, gourmet, and delicious. I tried the seared tuna, braised bbq rib, pickled shrimp, and the grouper taco. The view was tremendous, the building is beautifully redone, and service was excellent. read more

Fairhope. the food was good, but......i ordered a glass of the "house" cab. Later in my meal, I ordered a second glass. House wine is supposed to be the least expensive pour. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $22.00 per glass. $44.00 total for two glasses of house wine. I won't be going back. I can get good food elsewhere without having to bring a jar of Vaseline. read more

i think everything that could have gone wrong did, no one came to our table for thirty minutes until we spoke to the host, they kept promising to bring a food menu and after 45min of being there said to take a picture of the wall inside! decided to only have a drink at that point, my drink was good but it was the wrong drink and it had a long HAIR in the bottom, needless to say will literally never be back it was such a mess, very disappointed bc i love that location read more

This restaurant has beautiful views of Mobile Bay. The food was pretty good but our server was not up to the usual standards I have found at other restaurants in Fairhope Alabama. She kept repeating, "we are behind we are behind we are behind." we were never offered refills for our beverages. She brought the check a few minutes after our food arrived and she waited at the table for us to give her our form of payment. Our party felt like we were rushed to leave the restaurant even though they were not very busy. Not sure we will be repeat customers. read more

Four of us went; three of us ordered their fish (grouper) tacos of the day, the other their smashburger. Those were the only two "entrée" options. Uh!!?? The tacos basically had a "smidge to none" fish, a bland tiny helping of slaw, and for $16 the plate should have included fries. They're $5 a la carte, and right out of a Sysco bag. The smashburger, ordered MW, arrived Pittsburgh style: charred on the edges, rare inside. The server's response was, "oh sorry about that," and did nothing to correct the problem! After waiting forever for TBT to open, we were excited to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Even though they had a limited menu, they were very accommodating. We ordered the Royal Reds but asked if they could be served cold with some cocktail sauce. This was not a problem at all. They were more than happy to honor our request.
