I can't remember the cost of a manicure but I asked for medium almond nails (extra fee) with Gel X (extra fee) and cateye (extra fee) so my set was probably around $100? Lee did a fantastic job on my pedicure and Brian was great to talk to as he worked on my fingernails. My only concern was the fake nail he put on as he placed the whole thing directly on my nails. The issue is that my nails have a curve to them so it left a gap between my real and fake nails. Usually, other nail salons place the fake nails near the tip of my real nails so they naturally curve with my nails. Anyway, it's been two weeks and my nails still look good. Universal Nail Bar also offers facials, massages, and waxing. It's almost a one stop shop. They work too many days and very long hours so don't forget to tip your nail technicians well.

The item was completely unused and in perfect condition. This should have been a simple, no-issue exchange. Instead, because I had used coupons, I was told I had to pay a fee just to swap it. Customer service backed this up and said they could only help if the product was damaged--which makes no sense. So they'll fix a problem if it's defective, but won't allow a straightforward exchange for an untouched product? This feels less like policy and more like penalizing customers for shopping there. I wasn't asking for a refund--just an even exchange. Situations like this make it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority. I won't be shopping here again, and I'd caution others to think twice--especially if you plan to use coupons.

There was an "issue with the website", her husband messed up- (She admitted it was their mistake, But that I would still need to pay a higher price) 2. She also suggested that I "input a coupon" when I was booking my appt online... where on earth would I magically obtain a code to reduce your prices ?) (I showed her the price on the screen, she proceeds to argue that this is not correct) * I advised her I would call the police to sort this out.. At this point she decides to very rudely say "just give me whatever it says on the screen" (from my appointment confirmation). I explained to her as a new customer this was very disappointing and that her website is out of my control. In the future it may be helpful to ensure prices listed for services are accurate and agreed upon prior to servicing a client. I learned from now on the triple check the agreed upon rate before receiving services from anyone. I will definitely not be returning here and urge you to save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Less than three days after getting a manicure, the polish is chipping on several nails. I have not done anything out of the ordinary, and since I use my dishwasher, have not had my hands in water for anything like washing dishes. I still give a positive review for the cuticle and surrounding area clean up because that was done well with attention to detail. However p, the polish, even regular polish should last more than two days. If I polish my own nails at home as an amateur the polish lasts more than two or three days. Before anyone tries to tell me it's because it wasn't gel polish, I can share that right down the street from this shop, One Nail Bars classic manicures are comparably priced and usually last at least a week. Picasso Nails in Frisco classic manicure has lasted a full two weeks. So, I probably won't return for a classic manicure because there are better option. However, my pedicure is holding up better and so far, I am still satisfied with the mid range pedicure with regular polish.
