Extremely disappointed with Sally Beauty and their inflexible, customer-unfriendly policies. I purchased a hair color and returned the very next day to exchange it for a different shade--same product, just one level lighter. The item was completely unused and in perfect condition. This should have been a simple, no-issue exchange. Instead, because I had used coupons, I was told I had to pay a fee just to swap it. Customer service backed this up and said they could only help if the product was damaged--which makes no sense. So they'll fix a problem if it's defective, but won't allow a straightforward exchange for an untouched product? This feels less like policy and more like penalizing customers for shopping there. I wasn't asking for a refund--just an even exchange. Situations like this make it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority. I won't be shopping here again, and I'd caution others to think twice--especially if you plan to use coupons. read more

This is my favorite location for hair products and supplies. Today, as i walked in the door, I was greeted by Brandi. She let me look around for a couple of minutes beforehand, then she asked if she could help find anything. Her help was all that it took for me to get exactly what I needed and out the door in 10 minutes. She was very helpful and knew plenty about the types of hair color. I had a awful experience in this store today. There were two women working the registers. The first employee finished with her two customers and a woman walked in the door and the employee took her over me - I was standing there waiting. Unacceptable! The other employee (holes in her ear lobes) finally finished with her customer and had no choice but to wait on me since I was still standing there. I had to engage her, she never spoke to me until I engaged her and she still was off standish. Unacceptable! I went to Frisco EXCHANGE the hair dye I bought in Lewisville earlier today; I bought the wrong color. The lady (hole in her ear lobes) couldn't be bothered, I asked her twice to help me and she just stared at me. I found the dye, took it to the counter, and she said it was $1.95 more because I received a discount in Lewisville that I wasn't entitled to - I told her I would return it in Lewisville, I took my merchandise and drove to Lewisville (TollTag website is down - I'll check that charge later). The lady in Lewisville said she would report the Frisco employee to the district manager - turns out, the reason I received a discount (unknown to me) was because the computer was down when I checked out. PLUS this transaction was an even exchange - (Frisco) she shouldn't have been trying to get more money from me. Location needs a qualified supervisor on the floor, nasty employees can't be trusted to keep clientele coming back. I know I'll never use Sally's again after today. So much for supporting local brick and mortar. Screw it, if Sally's has no issue with these two employees then they've made their choice. read more

I went to Sally's to get some heat protectant spray for my hair. As I walked in, the lady greeted me & asked how she could help. I told her what I wanted and she took me straight to the product. She also told me about smaller sizes that I could get to try out first before I purchased the bigger size - THANK YOU!!! I love workers like her. My husband and I went into Sally's Beauty Supply in Frisco, TX today to purchase a new hair dryer. The woman who greeted us (Kate F.) was so personable and helpful. She helped us out showing what the store had available based on what our needs were and what price range we were looking for. We were so impressed with her patience and willingness to listen to our questions. I have been in that store in previous times when I asked a question about a product and a young girl pointed her finger down an isle and I was on my own. She acted like I was bothering her and I left disappointed in the customer service. HOWEVER..... today, dealing with Kate my husband and I both were so impressed with her caring attitude and helpfulness. She is a tremendous asset to your Frisco Store and I hope you take this compliment seriously and reward her for a job very well done. read more

I went in to buy powdered bleach and I was a longtime patron of their store. They gave me such a bad attitude for the fact I was young and thought i had no experience bleaching. I have bleached my hair every year and have at least some knowledge. not only were they condescending but they were rude expect me to mess up. Can not recommend going here. read more

Sally's Beauty Supply has always had a variety of hard-to-find gems that are really worth checking out every now and then. If you're a fan of DIY nails or hair, this is a good place to stock up. I was quite pleased -- they had a special on their generic "Biosilk" -- $10 for 2 6-oz bottles compared with $22+ for ONE Biosilk's 5.4 oz bottle. The "Generic" brand smells & feels great, like you just stepped out of a hair salon and onto the set of a shampoo commercial! This location also has a wide selection of false eyelashes, glue and remover. Their sales are quite decent and for the bargain-minded beautista, this place is great for experimenting (and falling in love) with new products that make you feel like a shinier, happier you. :) read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. On Sunday July 21st, 2019 at approximately 5:20pm I entered your Frisco location off of Preston Road nearby to Stonebriar Mall with my two young daughters. I came to purchase hair chalk and the store clerk assisting me unnecessarily snapped at my 5 year old. While I was holding my 2 year old my older daughter gently touched a pink hair swatch. She did not knock anything over, pull anything off a shelf, or was disruptive in any means. She simply quietly felt the hair with her fingertip. The store clerk immediately yelled at my daughter. It was rude, nasty, and completely out of line. I told her my child did nothing wrong and she had no business talking to her like that. This clerk was then incredibly rude to me. I came to purchase a number of items but I will never step foot in that location again. She refused to give me her name stating she "does not have to tell me" her name. She is I'm guessing in her 20's, very tall, glasses, shoulder length brown hair with front dyed reddish-purple hair that was pulled up and a very prominent expression of hating the world. It took me less than 2 minutes to not only obtain the contact information for costumer service but I've already contacted the district manager in regards to "Nameless" and how inappropriate she was and a horrid representation of your store that you should seriously reconsider for employment. She is clearly a problem as you see in other customer reviews. read more

I absolutely hate this location. People here use to be so nice and knowlegable about products. Now, not only are they dumb as a doornail, they refuse to assist you! Every SINGLE time I go in there, the girl with the short brown curly hair and glasses, is working, and she won't even bother to look in the back for things I came in for. I called in 20 minutes before they closed, because I needed some blades for my clippers. I was greeted by a knowledgeable young lady that told me that she would reserve them for me. I really used to like coming to this one, but they've really slipped on their customer service. I was asked if I needed help after waiting a few minutes to take a look at some items behind the counter. When I replied yes, she loudly sighed as if I was wasting her time. Then she got upset with me when I needed to look closer at the item I needed. I ended up leaving to go to another one because I don't like being treated this way. The store is clean and well supplied, but this is the second time I've had an issue with their associate's attitudes. read more

So all i wanted to do was exchange out hair clippers that I had bought... During my return I was rudely asked if I needed any help by an older woman and I polity said no. After choosing a better brand/pricier hair clippers I was ready to exchange and pay the difference. The older woman REFUSED my exchange because I didn't have the FREE tote that came with the original purchase (the coupon states 40$ or more purchases receive a "FREE" tote). The result was her only agreeing to give me back 43$ towards my new purchase from a 80$ purchase. I don't know what her problem was but she had to make it extremely hard for no reason. I ended up leaving without my exchange and had to drive out of my way to get the problem resolved at a legitimate Sallies. I will never go back to this location again and I recommend that you do the same. read more

Folks please disregard the star ... I advise you to avoid this store and save yourselves a headache!!! I came here yesterday hoping the staff will be nice and helpful. The same manager that was rude to me few months ago refused to take my money and put my items back on the shelf and ask me to shop elsewhere. I have never felt so humiliated in my life. All I wanted to do was buy some hair products for me an my children. This store is very clean and very well stocked. I have gone twice and while wandering around for a few minutes have always been helped by friendly, happy staff. The manager here is fantastic and you can tell that her employees enjoy being at the store and working for her and Sally.
