Perfect spot for Seafood lovers!! We decided to try this place out for dinner during the Dodgers World Series. We had no clue how busy it would be but too our surprise we were able to be seated within a 30 min wait. (not bad at all). Our waiter was very thorough of the menu and options based upon our likings. I ordered a 1lb of shrimp a 1lb of Frozen Crawfish. I honestly had plenty of food leftover. Lol this was my first experience of solely eating with my hands (bring your own gloves) The seasonings reminded me of a Louisiana dish. I would HIGHLY recommend eating here! So I ordered around $300 worth of seafood and I live 1 mile away from the restaurant and the food took pretty fast because it took around 15 minutes to come which wasn't bad I was so excited it was my sister's 18 birthday she's been dying for this food she drove an hour away to come and eat it and when the food arrived it was ice cold The crab legs were the missing so I contact Uber eats Uber eats said that it was on them and to contact the restaurant so I went and I spoke to the manager Daniel and he could not do nothing for me but this was on them and he's telling me that it's not his fault that some of my food were missing and it's not his fault that my food was cold. Which I think is outrageous saying there's nothing he can do for me and to contact UberEats so I contact ubereats again and they said once again there's nothing they can do for me to contact the restaurant and and then I talked to The manager Daniel once again he told me there's nothing he can do for me what as a manager that is outrageous I had a lot of guests over and the food was just ice cold So for the name being boiling crab your foods not boiled it's just ice cold‍ and honestly I would never eat here ever again after the experience I had I do not recommend this the manager is outrageous the customer service is crazy i'd rather go eat seafood somewhere else where it would be good and the customer service would be great do not recommend this place maybe they need to get another manager that knows how to run a restaurant I wish I could get this place zero stars read more

Best seafood place that the area has to offer. all the yummyness! The whole she-bang with the lobster and corn yumm! The shrimp with potatos and corn! Perfection! We had a pound of shrimp with sausage and corn-on-the-cob, with the "whole shebang" spices. Absolutely fantastic. If you aren't used to Cajun spices, get the mild. Never heard of this place found it in Yelp. Was visiting University Studios and staying with a friend in Burbank who didn't know about it either. First impression was wow! Love seafood and the staff was very patient and explained all the spices and add on. We stuck with shrimp and king crab and do not pass on the corn!! Found this through yelp and have to admit the food was amazing! I shared 1 lb of the medium spicy shrimp with a girlfriend and we both had sweet potato fries and a michelada. Everything was great, except the michelada. The tomato juice was way too thick....I am a miche obsessed girl so if you serve a michelada, they have to be on point in my opinion. They also offer a margarita, which we didn't order because they can't do a skinny version, and not liking sweets very much, I opted for the miche. The server(s) were all very friendly and explained the menu to a t, and the manager even brought me out a new basket of sweet potato fries when I said they were a little cold. The food was great quality and tasted good. Their seasonings were good and has a variety of spice levels. The service was a little rocky though, the servers didn't really know why was going on. They don't have buckets or anything to put the shells in from the food. They don't have little things to crack the shells with only plastic scrapers. When they get busy they stop taking orders on Postmates. Only use Postmates. The app still works as if you can order but you can't add anything to the cart. Nobody picks up either. Thanks for wasting my time. Between restaurant and these apps it's amazing how inefficient the ordering process is. Could be 100% better. When I get frustrated I just stop going to these places and/or find a better app. Problem is that every app is flawed. I'm a big lover of the boiling crab, if I could I would eat their food every day and not get tired...I was over the moon when I heard that the Burbank location was opening because it much closer to me than the one on Wilshire boulevard. I was there today at the big opening and loved it!!! Very clean, beautiful, nice managers who were going around and asking for our feedbacks and recommendations, nice and friendly stuffs. The little goodie bag for every single customers today was also a very big plus. Just don't go to close to closing time even though you get there 2 hours before closing, when you finally get your table they rush you to order everything at the same time, even all drinks, so if you want more than one beer it has to sit there and get hot while you eat your meal, and tell you they're closing soon. Went to the opening of the BC last Thursday and man was it worth it! We were probably part of the first 50 people to get in. As expected it was a bit manic and people flying around everywhere. Once seated, we had to wait a bit before being greeted by our server. One of the managers (Alfredo) noticed us waiting and immediately came to apologize for the wait and offered us a free appetizer, which was very nice of him. Once served by our excellent server (Panda) the glory of the BC began. Pounds of shrimp, fresh catfish, sweet corn and fries. It was heaven on a table and validated why the BC is the best at its craft. We also got free swag bags thanks to (Alfredo and Ryan) who went out of their way to find us some. Overall it was a great experience and attention to customer service. I will be a frequent visitor. read more

I have loved The Boiling Crab for some time now and have eaten at multiple locations. The Burbank one is one of my favorites to visit. I went just yesterday and the shrimp tasted different. It's hard to describe but it tasted like what a fish tank would smell like and I was unable to finish it. Maybe it was the batch of shrimp? Next time I'll order a half a pound just to be safe and a cup of the shabang suace with the rice and fry basket as my main order. read more

My friend and I were in the area and decided to give this BC a chance. We've been to two different locations and both were nowhere near on par as this one. It always tasted like quantity over quality. Their shrimps weren't cleaned and tasted like dirt. BUT this location's seasoning and their sauce was soooo good. The boiling crab is a place where you can have a good time with friends, however the thing is: I have severe problems with reflux. I give the food 5 stars I give the service 1 star. We started with oysters, delicious, they come with a really really good red sauce on the side along with Tabasco and lemon. So good very fresh! Then we had a pound of crawfish (I recommend getting medium spice adds a great flavor) and we also had 2 pounds of shrimp (1 with mild and 1 with medium) definitely have to say the medium was much more flavorful. We paired it with rice, Cajun fries and their delicious micheladas. The michelada mix comes separate from the beer of your choice (I asked for a separate cup and the mix was enough for mixing with 2 beers) it was my first time there and the experience was great. Pealing and getting dirty while eating was really fun and definitely good for groups and kids. The service however was slim to none even though there was about what seemed to be around 30 employees. We were given 1 spoon for the rice even though there were 2 of us there. And it took us so long to get anyone's attention to get another spoon the rice was cold by the time we got the second spoon. There was about 10-15 employees behind the register area just chatting it up with their backs to the clients having a good ol time at work with friends meanwhile people were just staring at them hoping to get some service. I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. This is a cool laid back Bubba Gump like environment however the professionalism needs to be present at any business place. The managers on duty which I assume where the ones with the different shirts were just as bad. They need to lead by example. read more
