If the food wasn't amazing I would have docked them a point for forgetting about my drinks but I know they were trying to provide great service and just were busy. Kickin combo #2 with medium kickin sauce (1.5 pounds snow crab legs, clams, headless shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn, potatoes) with a side of Cajun fries... perfection! Was enough food for 3 people and leftovers. Bursting with flavor I swear. The shrimp and sausage might have been the standouts for me because I prefer king crab over snow. But altogether outstanding. Also I really enjoyed the r&b music they were playing. You can tell this place gets busy. Another plus is they have a plaza parking lot right in the middle of sunset which is rare.

It was good but pricey!! $30 per pound and you can't get half a pound either. Boiling crab is only $20 a pound and half is $10. The workers were nice and the food was good, I don't think any better than boiling crab though just the price difference. Inside has lots of seating but I'm sure could fill up if it gets busy. Inside was dim and had cute decor

A must try seafood restaurant! We got the seafood boil with kickin' style seasoning in mild spice. Medium would've been perfect though, as mild wasn't spicy at all! The crab legs were the highlight of the meal, super fresh and flavourful with a lot of meat inside. The shrimps are a must try too as they were juicy and delicious. The cajun fries, garlic noodles and rice are also tasty on the side. The portion size is generous and the service was 10 out of 10. The restaurant had a casual and relaxed ambiance, highly recommend!

This is the right place to eat seafood. Wow so delicious. Everything is so fresh and the prices are amazing. Thank you so much for the good service Leanne !

Omg I haven't been to a seafood boil in so long but this hit the spot! I got the garlic shrimp noodles and the seafood boil (medium spicy) with corn, sausage, and potatoes. I recommend getting all of the above!! I definitely recommend getting medium spicy as it adds the perfect amount of kick. Come here hungry and you'll fill up easily with all the seafood. Make sure to maybe not wear a white top as it can get pretty messy! However, they do provide bibs and gloves.

10/10 one of the best seafood boils in LA. Amazing food, great service, always checked up on us, and even got our plates and utensils ready as we sat. I wouldn't use the bathroom though. It was kind of a disaster in there. I definitely reccomend the combo deal. It's worth every single penny. I got the lobster with 2 shrimps, and two snow crabs on the side. We even got garlic butter on the side, and that was a whole different experience. It was so good, thick and creamy, not your ordinary garlic butter sauce. The lobster was huge! Lots of meat on it. The shrimps were perfectly cooked. The kickin special was perfectly seasoned. Not salty at all. The Snowcrab clusters were huge, plenty of meat, sweet and very juicy. The only criticism I would give is that the snow crab needs scissors to cut open to get the meat like other seafood boil places provide. The calamari is a must try if you love calamari. It was Cajun seasoned and it was very well seasoned. Lots of flavor. We dipped it in the garlic butter and lemon and pepper sauce. Perfect duo.

I love a good seafood boil every so often. Glad The Kickin' Crab didn't disappoint. We got Combo #1 & chose 1 lb frozen Crawfish, 2 lbs Mussels with Mild Kickin' Sauce. The seafood tasted fresh & yummy. It normally comes with 2 corns, 3 potatoes & 4 sausages. We don't care for the sausage & we're able to sub the sausages with 1 more potato lol. The mild sauce was much spicier than expected, but still good. I also got a side of Medium sauce for $3.50. It came in a pretty small container, not worth the price. Our total came out to about $70. Not the best I tried but definitely one of the better ones.

Food was amazing, service was amazing! Billy was such a great help with helping us pick everything from the type of seafood to the spice and flavors! Definitely coming back! Thanks for the great experience!!! Owner was amazing as well. Definitely recommend!

2 lbs of Snow Crab Legs and Live Crawfish Cooked - 9/10

The workers were very friendly and accommodating! They were great with being attentive and providing recommendations. This place is great to bring family and/or friends. The garlic noodles were delicious! We also enjoyed the kickin' crab sauce! We ordered snow crab legs, live crawfish, and shrimp. The whole family enjoyed our meal! Prices definitely went up or may have a different market price. A pound of king crab legs was pretty expensive at $79.99. Check out the combos and what they have to offer because they can change as well.

What seemed like a deceptively simple bowl was one of the most delicious and flavorful meals I've had - I'll be thinking about my bowl for a long time. I got the plain kalgaksu, mainly because it included pork potstickers. The anchovy broth isn't fishy (which I was concerned about), it's deep and full in a way that's hard to describe. It penetrates the noodles and potatoes well. The broth is similar if not the same between most bowl types. The cold noodles were also delicious, which a couple of my friends ordered. Quite large portions, as just about everyone had to take some home. They also have bibimbap if you're craving a rice based meal instead. I can't wait to come back - maybe not on a Saturday night next time so I don't have to look so long for parking!

Even when we're still in line, the staff already let us know where to sit. I really appreciated the warm gesture and attentiveness of all the servers for sure!! It's a huge space that gave more industrial vibe to me than traditional Taiwanese theme, but it's totally a very convenient dining spot for both small and big group. We tried some from the menu and were pleased by all of them. They might look small but very filling actually since all the bowls were filled to top. The Dan Dan noodles have flavorful peanut sauce with it perfect noodles texture. Would recommend add extra sides for proteins, which we opted for pork belly and minced pork. The belly was extremely tender with thick juicy slices. The minced pork was equally palatable. They're generous in portion for being sides, we even packed some home. We obviously didn't skip their Hakka Mochi for dessert, which were still warm chewy yet moist when served and covered in overflowing black sesame and peanut powder. I wasn't usually a fan of black sesame but decided to give this one a try anyway and ending up no regrets at all! The powder was such spoiling mix of sweet and salty in one bite.

Normally staff ask if you have any allergies but they never asked? We ate the: - Minced pork- 5/5 probably the best dish there - Dan Dan noodles (which I think had milk in it after thinking about it)- 3/5 if you are ok with lactose it is tasty with chicken - 2 cold appetizers (lotus root and wood ear mushrooms)- 5/5 - Simple greens which was bok Choy- 2/5 it was super overcooked and limp and lifeless. Service was great and they have very friendly people working there. The 90's R&B was thumping and it is a place where it might be harder to have a conversation. I didn't mind because I loved hearing the music. Only two restrooms so you might need to wait. We went at 3 pm and the place was busy so I can't imagine the wait during meal times.

They were kind enough to refill our kimchi banchan several times without us even asking. We ordered the Yukgaejang, spicy cold noodle with beef rib combo, galbi jim, bulgogi and..that might have been it. Everything was so so good! To top it off, the service was incredible too. I have two toddlers and despite their loud, toddler-like behavior, one of the staff (Chun or Chen) was so friendly, attentive, and playful towards them that it made me feel less stressed out about dining in a small restaurant with young ones. At one point my toddler dropped his water bottle and he immediately swooped in to pick it up and then offered to wash it for me. Small gesture but one that has never been offered before and meant a lot to me. My brother lives in Los Angeles and in the service industry and he said this restaurant has been the talk of the town...and I can see why! It definitely lived up to the hype!

Course we gotta start with their crunchy but not too fermented cabbage and radish kimchi and soft steamed cabbage with soybean paste. The chive pancake was savory and green oniony and was lightly crisp and chewy. Paired well with the oniony soy saucy vinegary dipping sauce. The dumplings had chewy doughy skins with umami meaty fillings. The kimchi one was just a bit spicy. The jengban neang myun was refreshing and had qq thin noodles, thinly sliced beef and radish slices, squiggy not fishy raw fish, and crisp Korean pear sticks. And finally for my fave Korean dish galbi Jim. It came with some pretty purple rice and I added super gooey stretchy mozzarella cheese to it and it wasn't spicy but was very flavorful and had soft tender onions, startchy potatoes, sweet pumpkin, bouncy rice cakes, and fall of the bone beef ribs.
