Called a week in advance to see if I could make a reservation for 11 people on a Saturday at 4 PM. They don't take reservations, but they were very helpful and let me know to call the same day to be added to the waitlist, then call again about an hour before to confirm our full party would be showing up. The inside does feel pretty crowded at first, but once you get toward the back of the restaurant it opens up more and feels much more spacious. They have larger tables for groups as well as smaller tables for parties of four. Customer service was great and the food started coming out almost immediately after we ordered. Ordering was a little overwhelming in the beginning just because there are so many options and we ended up trying almost everything on the menu. Our group isn't big on pork, so we mostly stuck with the beef selections. The tomahawk was definitely the favorite of the night....everyone at the table really enjoyed it. Overall, really good food and a fun group dining experience.

This place is AMAZING! This is my favorite place in town for KBBQ! I will always go here for Korean bbq, we are always bringing friends and family too! The staff are always so nice and friendly. This is my all time favorite KBBQ spot!! I love the meat options and the appetizer selection, as well as the sides. I love the vibes at this spot and the music is always great playing in the background! Will be back soon for KBBQ

Hwaro 2 has been in my rotation since this second location opened. Dragon Factory owns so many spots in town that they have become the barometer for sushi and KBBQ, and this one still hits for both consistency and quality. Forget the hushed, label-driven rooms chasing A5 Wagyu bragging rights. Hwaro 2 is loud, smoky, and alive with the sound of meat hitting hot grills. You smell fat caramelizing, hear pork belly pop and hiss, and the table crowds with dishes until there is hardly room left for your soju. This is the heartbeat of KBBQ, not the showroom. Once the brisket round is done, the premium steak and tomahawk are the move. Pork belly brings richness, short ribs hit that sweet-salty note, and the bulgogi is the guilty sticky-sweet pleasure that sneaks in no matter how focused you are on the "serious" cuts. Seafood holds up, sides stay sharp, and the pro move is specifying to your server that you only want one or two orders of the larger cuts at a time so they hit the grill fresh and nothing goes to waste. The crew hustles, but management does not staff enough people on the floor. Servers and bussers do everything they can, so tip them well. These days the table comes with a single watery sweet BBQ sauce by default. What needs to return are the staples that make the experience whole: gochujang with some bite, and the sesame oil with salt and pepper dip that cuts through the richness. Bring those back without raising the price and Hwaro 2 separates from the pack again. Late night is the move. From 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. the spread drops to $25.95 with drink deals, and the vibe shifts from family dinner to industry hangout. Plates flying, drinks clinking, the low roar of every table grilling at once. That is the Hwaro I come for. It is not refined and it is not supposed to be. It is meat, fire, and noise at a fair price. 4 out of 5. Staff the floor and bring back the proper sauces and it is five alllll day

Took my son to dinner for his birthday. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. I usually am happy with the service here but it took a long time to get our first order in. We didn't get checked on as much as usual. It took forever get water refills and napkins, etc. the food was good and they surprised my son with a treat for his birthday.

Food was fine but service was a little lackluster. We had to ask for our grill to be changed every single time, and the portion sizes were a bit ridiculous for our table size. The atmosphere is also kinda meh compared to the main location. Corn cheese is my favorite here and their bulgogi is pretty good too. House salad, fries, brisket, and spicy pork were all very good. I also loved the brownie with ice cream as a dessert option. I wish the meal came with the typical Korean side dishes that other spots serve. To our surprise, the server charged us for 6 people when we had 5, most likely to hit us with the auto gratuity charge. It wasn't a huge issue, but the cashier had to point us to us that we were being charged for an extra person. Overall, Hwaro is a good choice, especially for their late night deal. However, I wish the service and amenities were better for the cost.

Amazing! All you eat for a great price. Food is delicious, service was fast, placed was packed! So be prepared for a waitlist! But definitely worth the wait.

The atmosphere was filled with fantastic energy, and the food was nothing short of exceptional! Our server was attentive, guiding us through the menu and ensuring we had everything we needed. They made it a point to check on us every 10 minutes, which was nice because we wanted to try everything on the menu. The only downfall was that they only had cold sake, its good but I occasionally enjoy it warm. Besides that, everything else was delicious.

Great service here from Xavier!! FOOD WAS ASO DELISHHH, everything was so good, thank you

If you're looking for a classic kbbq spot this is it. No fancy meats or 3 different menus. Simple, straight to the point. If you want a lot of parking, good service, small cozy spot. This is it. 5 items per order not including sides. 1 hour 20min to eat. $26 for lunch or late night. $30 all day menu. If you want more than their signature sauce that's by every table just ask. They have sesame oil, salt, bean paste, soy sauce, siracha, and actual spicy mayo. Can't beat the price. Bathrooms super slippery, you have been warned.

For late night passing 10pm its only $25 for each customer and is this ayce ? My bad hah jusy wanting to make sure

Late night is 10pm-Close Monday-Thursday and it is $25 per person AYCE, you just don't get access to the premium All-Day options but all the kbbq essentials are there!

D poo yhey serve hotpot?

No they don't but they have a couple choices of ramens.

Can they seat a party of 15?

I believe so. There are several large table seating areas that can easily accommodate large groups. We've been there for family parties with a dozen people. You should call ahead to make a rez and verify they can accommodate the entire group how you…

Hi is the original hwaro closed for good?

They just recently reopened the original location! (as of Feb '24) I noticed the price on that menu is a few dollars more than the Hwaro 2 menu that's posted to their website. (All-Day Special $29 vs $33)…

When will the other location be opening back up?

Do you let solo diners in your AYCE?

Definitely! Ate there few times by myself😃

Do u still cater reservation? How bout a party of 15, how would that work? Thanks!

Unfortunately they don't take reservations anymore. I would recommend going an hour early to be put on the waitlist since it's a big party

Last we check they were closed.. are they still closed or open already?

They should be open already.

Was pleasantly surprised by the variety of combos they had. The banchan was DELICIOUS. They all tasted of high quality. The meat quality was similarly good. Brisket was not super fatty and the short rib was really juicy, almost like wagyu without it actually being wagyu. Even the leftovers were good and the portions were very generous. Left feeling so full, including with the sides. The service was very friendly, but things didn't seem super organized in the back as our included sides didn't come out until we were almost finished with our meat courses (and then by that time we were stuffed so could barely eat it). Sometimes we asked for things and then it would be forgotten about. I think maybe we came at an off time or off hour, but definitely made our dinner a little longer than we anticipated. The music was also at a good level and parking was easy.

I was so impressed by how efficient, courteous, and professional he was while running around in such a crazy environment. The entire staff is working so hard during this BTS run-I seriously hope management is giving them some sort of holiday pay for this! LOL As for the rest of the experience, expect a wait. We waited about 2 hours, but the friendly staff made the time pass a bit easier. The Arirang menu was super cute and a lot of fun, and the souvenir card was a great touch. We got the large combo and most of the food was pretty good, except for the bulgogi at the very end, which was way too salty to finish. The only other bummer was the ventilation at our table. It wasn't working the best, so I left the restaurant with really stingy, watery eyes. Overall, it's a bit of a mixed bag with the smoke and the salty bulgogi, but the fun BTS perks and John's incredible service made it worth the trip. Thank you, John!!
