My favorite seafood spot in Vegas. Whenever I travel and there is one in a city I am visiting I usually dine since I know their food is consistently good no matter the location. On my trip to Miami and had to stop by. They have the Po Boy rolls that are not available in Vegas just yet. I had been wanting to try. Restaurant is large as they all are and had about 6 booths dining at the time. Server was prompt and friendly. Food came out within 15 minutes. The Po Boy rolls were small about 4 inches but it was a combo which included a drink for $12 so not a bad deal. The shrimp were popcorn size. They were decent. While I was overall not too impressed with the taste of these Po Boys, it was good to try them once. The Boiling Crab is still my fave! read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend, I've never had a seafood boil in my life so I was excited and nervous. When we came we were greeted and the staff was so nice, the place was spotless super clean and had utensils and etc. they showed me their reward system and helped me pick, showed me the whole process to order, and were super kind on their recommendations. I have to say food was 10/10 I order half a pound of headless shrimp, potatoes, and sausage with soda and the bill came around $27 honestly that's a steal for me! Came in from out of town for my younger siblings graduation and we decided to eat a boil at The Boiling Crab in South Miami. Not only did the service completely suck, there were multiple "up charges" on my bill that I was never made aware of prior to it being dropped off at the table. I am not going to argue with anyone over a couple extra dollars, I just like to know what I am paying for beforehand. The servers also couldn't tell me anything about the student discount they had for students that present their school ID, despite it being on the website & plastered on posters all over the walls of the restaurant - So we didn't get that either. I asked for a side of butter to dip my shrimp in and after 25 minutes, one of the servers finally remembered to bring it to my table. Only for it to have hair in it.. so I passed. We had two different servers taking care of us, and despite there only being a couple other tables, the service was atrocious. We were asked if we would like more water at least 4 times before they actually remembered to bring us any.. spicy food with no water doesn't work very well. Overall, have I had worse service? - absolutely. But I this was all still a bit extreme for a party of 4. Food tasted good but idk if I'd return after the service received. read more

Had my first Sea Food Boil here with my wife and it was absolutely delicious, well seasoned and cooked. I went with Medium spicy and Ragun Cajun seasoning which personally I recommend if you love your food spicy. I paired my Boil with an Arnold Palmer which tasted really well and staff didn't mind coming around to give me refills. I'm not big on crab boils so had not actually been here before. We decided to try it today and glad we did. I started with the gumbo and wow!!! This was full of flavor with a wonderful Anduille sausage and crawfish. The flavor was just very complex and frankly delicious. We both had the soft shell crab fried. Very good, the service was on point. The only odd thing is they have beer and cocktails but no wine and that is usually a killer for my wife. read more

If you have ever been to The Boiling Crab in California or Las Vegas, you know that this IS that place for crab boils. It has ample space, very clean, and the staff were great. My go-to is the King crab with the whole Sha-bang (mild seasoning) side of white rice and the cajun fries. They do offer a variety of fried dishes that you can choose from as well. I deducted a star because though it has the TBC feel, it just didn't taste the same. Don't get me wrong, my food was fresh and delicious and I would return. It just didn't give what I was introduced to in L.A. Overall, if you are ever on the hunt for a good crab boil; I would recommend giving this place a whirl. Been wanting to check this place out for a while now and it also kept popping up on my TikTok FYP. Our server was very sweet and explained the whole menu to us which was nice of him. I will say it seemed a little weird that everything came separately. Ordered some blue crab and clams but they were brought out in separate bags instead of just in one. Also you can only order by the pound while a lot of other places you can order by 1/2. Some boil places bring you the seafood crackers for the claws but we didn't get those. The sauce was also very salty and had huge chunks of garlic while other pieces were minced ,wish there was some consistency there. The corn was also cold (damn near frozen) which was quite a shock to bite into. I think the best parts of the meal were the lemon pepper fries and the rice, though it's pretty hard to mess up rice. Oysters were good but tiny and too expensive for the price. Lots of delays and hard to get server's attention even when it's not busy at all. Gumbo and rice was okay. Garlic butter sauce did not come in time for the oysters and only arrived by the time the check came which I never even got to use and was still charged for. What pissed me off the most was the manager just standing there staring at me until I made eye contact to which he finally gave me my check back. What a fucking weirdo. Avoid at all costs. read more

Ya know i am a huge fan of all seafood boils ... "the boiling crab" is super famous right along side "hot n juicy" whenever i travel, and they always have these two in the city, and i always always go to hot n juicy. Could never bring myself to try this franchise bc Hot N Juicy is my all time FAVEEE...... since visiting Miami, they didnt have a location so i was like "HEY its your time to shine!!" aaannndd... i must say, i made the right decision all those times, but it does feel good to finally see what all the "whole shabang" hype is about. Unfortunately, the sauce did not do it for me. im really not into this plain "cajun" flavor anymore. It used to be that I'd have to travel to Pembroke Pines for this kind of seafood dining experience, but after several places started opening down South, my friends and I didn't have to make the long commute anymore. The Boiling Crab took over the old RA Sushi location and has been strong. Parking in the area is metered, plenty of spots. I have been to The Boiling Crab twice so far. I've tried the shrimp, crawfish, snow crabs, lemon pepper fries, corns, calamari, and wings. Everything was delicious. The service was good, but the server had forgotten to bring gloves and utensils. It happens, no big deal, we asked for them when the server was around. For covid, customers have their temperatures checked at the door. Customers are seated apart in accordance to social distancing guidelines. Overall, good experience and good food. read more

This is my favorite seafood boil I've ever been to (which is a lot!)! The mixed house sauce is soooo delicious! You're going to want to scoop it up with every bite! They also have such a great variety to build your boil. The downside? It's kinda small inside, which means you might wait a bit on a busy night, but it's totally worth it. You'd never know how good everything is from looking at the shopping center it's in, but don't judge these guys by that. It's fantastic! I haven't tried anything that I haven't loved here. My boyfriend and I have recently gotten into crab boils and have tried several different restaurants similar to this one but the taste of The Boiling Crab was extraordinary! We ordered our catch with The Whole Sha-Bang flavor and it was out of this world! The flavors were so delicious I couldn't stop eating (even with an extremely full belly and my nose dripping from the heat). I went here on my vacation in Miami. The service is super friendly and efficient! I went twice and even though it was a bit busy both times, the service didn't take long to be seated. The staff is super helpful in explaining the menu and making sure that you get exactly what you want. I like that you can build your own bag (I don't like seafood, but my partner does). She got lobster and crab with sausage eggs and corn. I got sausage and corn with breaded and fried shrimp. All of it was delicious! Portions are also pretty good for your money. We got medium the first time, it was hot So, we got mild the second time, but I think we enjoyed it most when it was a bit spicy! read more

Our waitress from the onset act like via facial expressions and taking our orders 4ft away from the table having to repeat herself several times as opposed to moving closer. It was bought to her attention. No one said anything inappropriate to her. We just finished a round of golf at the Biltmore. 8 professionals to include law professionals, medical and self employed Men. After receiving our food she got into her Karen role with a male co worker who may have been a manager. She never came back to the table to collect the checks, he came. We didn't find out why until we were outside. She's racist and extremely prejudice. I'm from California where boiling crab is usually a go to spot for boils, so when I saw this location in Miami on a strip by other delicious restaurants I've acquainted, I was nostalgic to have a taste of home, being away from home. I definitely had high expectations, and was let down completely. I ordered a boil of EZ shrimp, blue crab, sausage, potato, corn, and egg with medium spice and whole sha bang seasonings. We came during late lunch hours and there was plenty of seating inside. We tried the gumbo, King crab and Dungeness crab in their combo sauce. The mild spicy level for perfect for me. It had a slight kick to it but not spicy enough to overpower the natural flavor from the crab. The servers here are great at showing you how to properly eat King crab legs, which was a first for me and I definitely appreciated the pro tips. The gumbo is excellent, I would order it again especially if I'm in the mood for some hot soup. It comes with onions, peppers and okra. You have the option of getting it with or without rice. The day we came, a number of seafood items listed on the menu were either not in season or they didn't have it.
