at the Walgreens in Mesquite on a cold, wet day

I've been to this food truck at the Sigel's food truck festival, Murphy Maize, and at the Walgreens in Mesquite. It's such a cute trailer in cotton candy pink and blue, and has a very retro look to it. I've tried all of their fruit pies, and there was not one I didn't like. They are made to order so they come out piping hot. The outer crust was fried to perfection, crispy and flaky. The fillings were sweet enough for me and tasted good. They had fried pumpkin at the Murphy Maize and I loved it. I bought one of each pie and brought it home to my family. They devoured them in a matter of seconds. I haven't had the fried bologna sandwich yet, but will try it next time. I did try the fried guacamole once, and it tasted good. I didn't even dip it in the side of salsa that it came with because I liked the way it tasted. The people running this food truck are very sweet and easy to talk to . You can tell they are passionate in what they do. You can follow them on Facebook if you want to know where their next appearance is . I wish they had a twitter account because I check that more!

I tried the fried guacamole while waiting at a carwash one day. I was surprised at how amazingly fresh and homemade the guacamole was, and it was served with a perfect little side of salsa. The outer crust was beyond perfection. I am definitely going to be stopping by this trailer next time I spot it around town!

How far will food trucks typically travel if catering an event (such as wedding)? We are considering getting married in Collinsville (about 50 miles north of Dallas).

I really enjoyed the beef sandwich and I always get it baptize. I like to order extra dipping sauce with it so I can just drown it haha. My favorite are the hot dogs, which is what they are know for. I love the chicago style dogs and I love adding ketchup and mustard to my hot dogs. For the side I really enjoy getting a side of cheese and dipping my fries into it, thank me later. The onion rings are also worth a mention, they are well made, crispy and full of flavor. I also had their shakes before and they were pretty good. I once had their chocolate cake and it was very rich in flavor and not dry at all like other cakes. I always eat in the diner because I love how they have decorated the space. It reflects the history of the city of Arlington. It is a mix of car decor honoring the GM plant and part of the decor is also bowling, to honor the national bowling museum and headquarters located in arlington. I love how its so big and spacious. They also sell beer but I never purchase any but thats a cool concept. The staff keeps the place nice and clean, i love how they say your order number and make it rhyme with something. Example 'order #9 is time to dine"

I ordered a burger and fries got home had a handful of ketchup and exactly 3 individual fries. This is not the first time this location punted. It's getting old, really old. I imagine that across the Metroplex many orders are being jacked up as I type this, people who want to make more $ but slack at the gig. Let them inherit the wind. Yeah, I'm pissed.
