There is so much to appreciate. This one feels a bit more spacious and I found myself in the store for 2 hours just taking my time looking through the aisles. Immediately upon walking in, I was enamored by their setup and selection of books. They have every genre you can think about. Some sections that caught my eye: a dedicated kids' section and a spot for when special guests come. They're also connected to Wildflower so you can come before or after a sip and bite. Changing Hands is so special because they care about community and also support second hand! Staff is eager to help you out and guide you if you have a specific book in mind. You can bring your well loved books in return for store credit and they're quite generous with the credit. They'll take your books depending on the condition and if they need stock for that book. The cherry on top- I love that I'm supporting a local bookstore. And you even get a stamp card with a discount once you've gotten it all stamped out. Their prices are also affordable, and you can choose from new or used books which is nice. Most of their used books are in pristine condition. I support Changing Hands through and through and am so glad I ran across this bookstore. If you're a book lover, you need to go!

I've visited a couple times now, but on my most recent visit, I attended one of their ticketed flower bouquet making events. You can find a wide range of artsy book-related or flower-related events on their website. For this class, it was learning how to make a spiral bouquet. It was so fun learning this technique and leaving with a a bouquet that I had designed! Also, the owner is super kind and her patience and help with me while I made my bouquet was greatly appreciated. Can't wait to try another class!

I was immediately greeted by a young friendly woman at the front who left me to peruse the store. There's a selection of books for everyone, with sections for various genres housed on the east wall and within their bookcases and tables. I love the idea of a blind date with a book, and they had no shortage of options! There's a small area containing tees and other merch and, even tho I'm not a big sci-fi fan, I loved the setup they had for the genre! What I hadn't anticipated was the section that had the Sweet Valley Twins books! The nostalgia was HEAVY let me tell you! :) Regardless of how small the store seemed, they do an amazing job of packing in the books and I was impressed that there's literally every type of genre you could want there. Adding to the great vibes are the comfy sitting areas with plush seating, an old typewriter you can crank out 'hellos' to future visitors on, and plants and decor that add charm to some mid century modern furniture. What makes this place so unique though is the assortment of fresh flowers in the back and the flower workshops they hold each week. I haven't gone to one yet, but I plan on it, they look really cool! I highly recommend Wijaya House to any book lover, but especially those that prefer the locally owned to the big box store. I'm planning my next visit soon. :)

I had to order some books online. I had them delivered here to join up with some other books that I…read morehad shipped to my home. Books arrived on time however, the pick up process wasn't as straightforward as I expected. I ended up going to the center customer service desk & waiting for about 5 to almost 10 minutes. At that point, I gave up and just went straight to the line. Thankfully, when I got in line after about a 5 to 10 minute wait with only one person at the register, I was able to get access. One could argue after reading my review that I need to go to the bookstore more often... and you would lose that argument as I frequent Bookstores and read a lot more than you'd expect!! :-) Customer service was really good when I got a hold of someone however, I just didn't like the process of knowing where to go to pick up the books. It would be good to have some signage when you first walk in, letting you know what to do.

Lots of interesting things here and the workers here are super nice. When I saw temple merchandise, I figured out really quickly that it's a Mormon bookstore. I'm not a Mormon so I felt a bit out of place. I wasn't sure how to rate this place, and would feel wierd leaving a negative review due to the difference in beliefs, so I'll give it 4 stars for the kindness of the workers, and the awesome Nativity display.

This is one of the few that I know are two stories, so that's very neat! Wide array of options between books, entertainment, mugs, totes, and so much more! This B&N has an impressive new non fiction and fiction sections and lots of variety to choose from! I was stoked to see a lot of very good books on display. I then wandered into the magazine section and this I think is one of the gems of this bookstore. A lot of bookstores just don't have magazine sections anymore and I like that this B&N still offers up many genres of magazines to keep you busy! I like the current event, travel, food, art, science and nature magazines on selection here! While I don't get in here too often, I do enjoy a browse here every so often. If you like magazines, this is a great spot for you. They have tons of gift selections here too and a cafe if you need a nice coffee or tea while you check out books and other items!

They especially enjoy the summer book club and the kids' section, which is filled with activities and take-home kits. Here's what you need to know: Electronics: Clean them, charge them, and bring all accessories. Original boxes are a bonus. It's a great place to upgrade devices or find missing computer parts, gaming consoles, and accessories. Books: They accept a wide variety, including religious books, cookbooks, romance novels, fiction, comics, scrapbooks, and more. Music & Entertainment: Instruments, CDs, vinyl records, movies, and other media are worth bringing in as well. If you're not happy with your trade-in value, politely ask if there's any flexibility. I've always had a positive experience with their customer service. The Trade-In Process: Bring your items to the trade-in counter. They'll take your name and phone number, review your items, and call you when they're finished. You'll receive both a cash offer and a store credit offer. I always feel like they give a really fair amount in trade credit, and somehow we always find new treasures to bring home. I especially love the board game section. It's packed with great options, though I do wish it was organized a bit more because there's so much to dig through. The kids area is wonderful too. On our last visit my daughter spent a ton of time browsing the young adult aisles and discovering new books. I only wish there was a location a little closer to us because we'd probably go even more often. Also throwing this out there... if they ever started a kids or teen book club, we would be all over that!
