#Rude #Unprofessional Just wanna share my first time experience in this nail salon. I am currently in a "nail salon hunting" as we have moved to a new city close by this place. I found this nail salon on yelp and really wanted to give a try as they have 4.5 star in yelp plus good reviews. Booking an appointment was easy. They also accept walk-ins. The actual place is a little messy but still ok. My nail tech was Vanessa. She was ok at first. She's trying to entertain me, asked me whatever nail color or design I want and she helped me pick-up neutral colors. But just so you know, I unluckily have a very tiny, brittled nails that easily breaks. (I used to nail-bite when I was young and it's hard for me to grow my nails as they are very fragile) in short, I have ugly hands and nails. And for me, nail salons are my saviour as they can make your nails pretty. But this nail tech was very unprofessional, rude and discriminating as she was making fun of my nails, laughing while looking at me. I was trying to ignore it at first but she kept doing it the whole time! I got really upset and it makes me really uncomfortable knowing someone is making fun of you while they talk in their language. She kept repeating how "tiny and short" my nails are and blabbers a bunch of sh*t in front of other customers. I find it very unprofessional and they shouldn't be acting like that in front of their clients. Out of my frustration, I can't help but to confront her. Other techs was nice but the rest of my experience is horrible. And yes, I am not coming back to this place and I hope the management should take notice of their unprofessional and RUDE behavior read more

I had an appointment at 2:30 and wasn't out of the shop until 5:30. I started out with a pedicure and had my feet soaking in the bath for 30 minutes before someone came to do the pedicure. It was clear that the woman doing my pedicure did not know what she was doing. The shape she cut my toenails in was terrible...she was using a cuticle cutter to get the edges of my toenails. She also buffed my toenails after putting on loads of cuticle gel. I thought something was off, but I let her continue because I didn't want to be rude. When she painted my toenails, the paint was uneven and didn't reach the cuticle area/outer toenail area evenly. I took this picture when she was finished. There was also paint all over my actual toes. There's even cotton hanging off of one of my toes that she neglected to clean up. I was upset and ready to go home at this point...about an hour and a half in. When Steve came to check in on me, I let him know that I wasn't happy with how my toes were painted. He was nice and redid them for me, but just added more paint on top instead of removing the polish and starting from scratch. They do look better than they did originally, but I'm never getting a pedicure here ever again. Now that I'm home and looking closer, I also noticed that the toenails were cut so unevenly. There's a nail literally hanging off of my big toe. I could do a pedicure at home that takes 1/3 of the time and turns out 100x better. I was going to leave so I could take the nail polish off and redo them from home, but Steve let me know that Julie would be doing my manicure and she is really good. I was definitely not disappointed with Julie's gel manicure! This actually may have been the best gel manicure that I've gotten, which is why I put 2 stars instead of 1. Julie was very precise with the paint and shape. Steve also helped out (also a great manicurist) and was very friendly. He let me know that the shop has a 2 week "no chip" policy where I can come in later to get the paint fixed if it chips or breaks. If I had come in just for a gel manicure, I would have given a 5 star review (maybe 4 if it still would have taken an exorbitant amount of time). The pedicure honestly ruined my experience here and does not make me want to go back. I was still charged fully for both the manicure and pedicure--I understand, it's a business, but I definitely left feeling extremely unsatisfied with the wait time and turnout of the pedicure. If I do go back, I'm only letting Steve or Julie touch my nails and will definitely not be getting any sort of pedicure. read more

The best quality nail polish ever. My gel nails never chip and my actual nails never rip as the nail grows out. Lily has excellent attention to detail, catching small imperfections that I can't even see and I'm very meticulous. I unfortunately don't live in Fullerton, so it's a bit far from me. I have been coming to The Boujee Nails for over a year and I have loved every visit. The owners Steve and Anna treat every person with such care and kindness. All the staff takes the time to offer you something to drink (if you are over 21 they will offer free alcohol) and is welcoming to all. My nails always look great after a visit and I included a picture as an example. Called Boujee nails to see if they had availability to do a 9 am pedicure. They accommodated me and had three staff working at my arrival time. Everyone was courteous and friendly. My technician was Lilly. She was quiet, but very efficient and did a good job. I'd definitely come back! read more

Love this salon! It was my first time here and they did a phenomenal job. I got a gel mani & gel pedi & removal of my existing gel pedi, all for about $80. I tipped them $20 bc the service was excellent, so the whole thing cost me around $100. The staff here was friendly and efficient, the massage was wonderful, and my nails are perfect! No cuts, no complaints. They also said if I notice anything wrong to come back and they will fix it for free. Very nice staff. Anna and Michelle did my nails. They made a very good first impression. I received one of the worst pedicures from any business (Lily). I did not get the service I paid for and while the owner (Steve) called to supposedly "rectify" the situation, made it in fact worse. I don't expect special treatment as he was trying to tell me he would put in the notes if I went back, I simply expected to get what I paid for (I chose an upgraded pedicure - The de-stress -$40 ) The massage was subpar and felt very short. In addition, the young lady (Lily) did not provide me with the callus treatment which is part of the package. The entire experience felt rushed (although there were hardly any customers there). Even if this had been a regular massage, I would've deemed it subpar so imagine paying almost double. They lack good customer service and professionalism. Especially for the prices they charge. I do not recommend this establishment. And it was the owner's attempt at telling me that what I experienced and expressed was not what happened that sealed my decision and this review. 10/29/23- Now the owner (Steve) has taken to harassing me by constantly calling my number. I have rejected the call and even blocked. But he kept calling. I finally answered to tell him to stop harassing me and he continued to argue about what I experienced. Save yourself a headache. There are a thousand establishments that one can try, but this is not one of them. read more

my husband and i booked thru class pass and we decided to try this place out bc it had good reviews and WOW, they delivered. i've been to probably 100 nails salons in my lifetime and this place was AMAZING. the shopping center is a little rough but once you walk in it is extremely clean, brand new, peaceful, and they offer a wide selection of gel and dip colors. Steve did a fresh acrylic set for me with a pretty neutral dip color. the nails are perfect length, all even, and extremely neat. i am so impressed. my husband got a deluxe pedi and mani and was also very happy with the service. we drove 20 min to get here but the services were so good we will definitely be coming back. read more

I have gotten my nails done here several times this year. The service is horrible. They don't schedule people properly and ALWAYS double book appointments and in turn keep everyone waiting around for 30-45 min, but tell you it's only 15 min wait. They're removal techniques suck. They are impatient, and aggressive with removing powder and gel manicures. The nail tech actually damaged my nails. They also are not careful/skilled. My nail was glued on crooked. My nail beds were not completely painted. And they suck at any kind of designs such as v-tip or flowers. Plus, they charge more than what they're prices sometimes.
