    Medium rare 14oz Ribeye Steak
    Caitlin D.

SO GOOD! We went here because Texas Roadhouse in Oak Creek was packed. I hate going to steakhouses because we can usually cook better at home, but the steak was REALLY good! I started with the chicken dumpling soup and was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious and hit the spot on this very cold winter day. I went outside the box and got the chicken teriyaki for dinner. It was perfect. The vegetables were perfectly cooked with the right amount of crunch, chicken and rice were really good too. The steak was cooked exactly to medium rare and had a great seasoning. OMG and the fresh bread, yum! Service was fast and friendly, food was fresh. 10 out of 10! Will definitely go back.

This restaurant was surprisingly good and the server was great. She was new but on point! The steak was done well and was a great deal with roasted chicken. The cosmopolitan was good and really inexpensive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is pretty big so it has a lot of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We decided to try this restaurant because it was close to our hotel, and honestly, we weren't sure what to expect given the mixed reviews. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was quiet when we went for lunch, and the service was friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with the cheese curds ($12.99) and French onion soup ($5.99) both of which were solid choices with a lot of cheesy goodness . When deciding between the meatloaf and the meatloaf stack, I asked about the difference and was told the stack is covered in gravy, fried onions, and cheese--so of course, i went with that. It's Wisconsin, after all. It was good, but if I was drunk or hungover it would have been incredible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The country music was nice, and made sure it wasn't TOO quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While we probably wouldn't go out of our way to return, it's a pretty good option if you're staying nearby.

Had an overnight in Milwaukee and stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee Airport. Wanted to get some dinner and there's not a ton of options around there if you don't have a car. I ended up walking here. Staff are friendly and had me seated in no time. I ended up getting an awesome server and asked for a recommendation. I ended up getting a roast chicken with broccoli and also a small chili. I started with the chili which was alright. Once that was done the chicken and broccoli showed up. Not bad as well. If you're in a pinch and need to grab a bite, skip McDonald's and hit this place up.

We shall return. And we shall bring reinforcements. The appetizers are huge - I'm writing this review mid-meal. The riblets are falling off the bone. Literally. We were near with smiles as soon as we walked in, were promptly seated, and our orders taken. We were even (respectfully) given advice that the portions were huge, and boy was that the truth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is great too- friendly staff, unique playlist (not generic country, stuff with SOUL) and the space itself is so inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Attached are pictures of our appetizers and salmon entrees. Highly recommended.

There is a small portion for outdoor seating, but it's the interior that makes this place unique. A panoply of saloon memorabilia covers the walls and ceiling in its entirety. It is an impressive site to behold. It was neat spotting some of the items that are also in my personal collection, and I could write all day about the décor, but this is a food review. My family and I dined there on 8/5 for my brother's birthday. I'll begin by saying our waitress Cindy did an excellent job as she was friendly and attentive. For my entrée, I went with the Monterey Steak Bites, which is listed as an appetizer on the menu. I'm not the largest guy, so the 6oz of grilled black angus steak was plenty for me. The bites are sauteed with white wine, mushrooms, garlic butter, and topped with a layer of melty Monterey Jack Cheese. Everything about this dish was perfect. My steak was tender and juicy, the mushrooms were abundant, large, and fresh, the garlic flavoring was noticeable but not overpowering, and the plethora of cheese was more than enough to satisfy this cheesehead. If there was any negative to it, it would be that it was so rich, I had a bit of a stomachache after, but that's why I don't eat this way all the time. Almost forgot to mention, it comes with a tiny cocktail fork that was ideal for spearing the steak and mushrooms. Phenomenal job, Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews *The plethora of drinks on the menu was also impressive

We both ordered steaks that were flavorfully seasoned and cooked as ordered. The only thing negative about our experience was the carrot cake. We were told that the cake was homemade so I decided to give it a try. I was disappointed when the dessert was brought to the table. The carrot cake was a small square that looked as though it was cut from a 9" x 13" pan. We were both expecting it to be a slice from a traditional layer cake. The cake tasted okay but I guess I expected it to be a bit more flavorful. Despite the disappointing dessert we plan on returning to the Steakout. The atmosphere, service, and flavorful steaks are worth another visit.

The Steakout - Milwaukee, WI…read more If you're headed to Milwaukee, The Steakout is an absolute must. I eat steak at least once a week, both at home and at restaurants. At home, I know exactly what my family and I like. Ordering steak out is always a bit of a gamble. My husband usually avoids it because 1) we (well I) make great steak at home and 2) every other business meeting seems to happen at a steakhouse. The Steakout is the exception. This place was a solid 10/10 from start to finish. The Atlantic Salmon was an absolute masterpiece. Yes...even in the Midwest. Sushi-grade salmon, perfectly seared on the outside with a buttery medium-rare center. We almost ordered the walleye because, well, Wisconsin. Instead, we took a chance and were rewarded big time. Paired with a bright lemon aioli and served over a rich butter broth, every bite made us look at each other and say, "Okay...this was the right decision." Aside from finding a couple fish bones (because fish are, in fact, made of fish and bones), this dish was outstanding. Now let's talk Prime Rib. Prime rib and I have a complicated relationship. I see it on a menu and immediately think, "this is the one." Then about half the time I spend the rest of dinner wishing I'd ordered something else, like a trusty ribeye or NY Strip. Not here. The Steakout absolutely nailed it. Perfectly medium rare, juicy, flavorful, with a fantastic au jus, beautifully seared asparagus, and just the right thickness. Honestly, I don't know what they could've done better. I couldn't make anything up even if I tried! The French Onion Soup was another winner. Rich, cheesy, and exactly what you hope for when you order French onion soup. And because it's a true Midwest supper club, dinner started with a warm bread basket and a classic relish tray loaded with fresh vegetables, pickles, and olives. Honestly, I wish every restaurant still did this. Bring back relish trays! Of course, no great steak dinner ends without dessert. Even though we were absolutely stuffed, we ordered the tiramisu to go. "To go" lasted approximately five minutes. By the time we waddled to the car looking like Violet after her Willy Wonka blueberry fiasco, that tiramisu didn't stand a chance. Thankfully, we headed straight to Milwaukee's Summerfest afterward to walk off at least a few of the calories. Zero regrets. For the quality of food, the portions, and the overall experience, The Steakout is incredibly reasonably priced. If you're anywhere near Milwaukee, do yourself a favor and put this one at the top of your list.

The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is spot on and gives you exactly the feel you want in a fine dining establishment. But the thing that makes this restaurant stand far above most others is the service! From the minute we walked in, we encountered nothing but genuine smiles and a sense that everyone there seemed to really care and be invested in us having a wonderful experience in their place of business. We were greeted at the front desk by a team of radiant ladies at the host stand. It seriously felt like they were happy to see us! Violet was especially kind and gracious and we enjoyed a short chat with her. The bartender was pleasant and efficient in taking our large varied order, and the drinks were solid. The bus and runner staff all were personable, polite and expedient. But the true star of our night was our waiter Brandon! He was spectacular. There were 15 of us and he handled our large table calmly and skillfully. He handled our indecisiveness, modifications, add ons, questions and loud revelry, professionally and expertly, never loosing his composure or patience. He definitely made our night. Thank you Brandon. We live in New York and most of the others live in Milwaukee and Minneapolis now, but Racine is the hometown and the 4th of July is a kin to a sacred holiday. The parade not to be missed! So I'm sure many a visit back is in our future, and the next time we do, I will make sure Sebastian's is on the top of our must do list! So please stay wonderful! Five stars!
