We came here with some friends for dinner. I had looked at their menu online and the food looked good. However, what they advertise is not what you get. The nachos were absolutely terrible. There was little to no cheese on them. The meat was completely dry and lacked any sort of flavor. The loaded fries were just fries covered in a ton of sour cream. They didn't put bacon on them as the menu says and the cheese on these was non existent as well. The chicken tacos were decent. Not something I'd ever crave to have but it was definitely the best of the three items we got. Service isn't fantastic. While our server was super nice, we did have to wait almost 20 minutes for drinks. And that's not just for alcoholic drinks. We waited that long for water. Atmosphere is kind of that dirty pub feel. They have live music on the weekend. It was hard to have a conversation with how loud they were playing the music. Overall I was unimpressed with this place. The service was so incredibly poor that I had to write a list of all the things that we needed and handed it to the server. These were not extreme things they were things like silverware and a drink. For an example, I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings, and it came out completely plain with not one single thing on it, and when I asked the server where all the side items like pickles and lettuce and everything were, she told me that I ordered a cheeseburger, that I didn't ask for anything else. I asked for ketchup and she handed me an empty bottle. Anybody that has gone out to eat should have the common sense to know how these types of things work. I was a server in grad school for multiple years and this particular individual could not think 1 inch outside the box. This was our second time at this restaurant and both times the service was poor. Last time it was a Saturday night and there was only one server and at least that individual did the best they could. The cheese in the steak nachos were to die for! Avocado burger was a good size and delicious. Did I mention it had bacon in it! Yum! The size of the wings were generous. Great location for this area and plenty of parking and seating. Though I do wish the patio was more covered for summer as they have a great amount of seating out there but it's all on the west side of the building so it's sun central. Service here was phenomenal. Our waitress never left us thirsty and always came by to check on us. Huge, like mega huge, selection of beer but they also have wine and liquor drinks. They'll let you sample the beer as well so you know what you're getting into. Prices honestly aren't half bad even after happy hour. Great place to grab a drink. It can get loud in here. The first time I came to this spot was a few weeks ago and it was great! Today, not so great. Food was subpar - mine came out incorrectly and I politely let my waitress know who took the plate and walked off as if it was a bother. I asked about the 10 wings for 9.99 they are advertising on FB and she looked confused and said they aren't doing that. I literally just saw the advertisement again 5 mins ago. For such a simple menu, I would think the food would be consistently great but it's just not. Good atmosphere but not a spot to visit often. read more

Excellent time!!! We frequently attend The Brass Tap in Allen and is our regular go-to whenever we want to watch a game out (or don't want to cook). The Prosper location has lived up to the one in Allen, and even surpassed it with the outside seating and ability to open up the walls to the outside. Special shout-out to Justin - simply put...he rocks! He is the reason my wife and come to the Brass Tap as much as we do in Allen. Always makes us feel welcome and like family - truly takes an interest in his patrons, shows passion in what he does and pride in how he manages the bar. We may be losing him to Prosper, so we'll just have to split our time between locations! The food was great when we visited and the Boom Boom Shrimp and Wings are a favorite. The burger with the pork belly is amazing as well. We especially liked a couple new things on the menu... 1 - The corn dip was bar food at its best. 2 - Brussels sprouts were a great clean alternative to the other fried sides you find at bars. Not over fried or smothered in syrupy sauce like other places...just good clean greens. The bartenders were very knowledgeable on the beers and made great recommendations (which I took). Very lively atmosphere and just felt like one big party. Lastly, they have new wireless devices that allow the wait staff and bartenders to settle your bill on the spot, rather than disappear with your card. Stopped in for a casual Friday night dinner. The inside was pretty cool and trendy. Unfortunately it was too hot to sit on the patio, so everyone was inside making it pretty loud. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We ordered the Blueberry Bourbon Smash and an Old Fashioned to drink and the All American Pub burger and LA Kogi Dog. The burger was pretty average, but still good. The crinkle cut fries were good, reminding us of Cane's. The Dog had a unique flavor, but was a little too intense towards the end. The drinks were great and refreshing! Overall pretty loud inside, great staff, and we're looking forward to exploring more of the menu next time. read more

Really glad we stumbled across this place. It has a long bar facing dozens of taps, a dining area, and an enclosed outdoor space. There's tvs all along the walls with a larger screen in the dining area. Beer selection is extensive and the bartender was really cool about giving you a taster before ordering something new. We ordered the sirloin nachos and were honestly surprised at how good they were. They had a great amount of cheese, steak, and fresh jalapeños. I'm not sure why I agreed to come back. Same ol same ol terrible service. Watched our waitress enjoy her cellphone rather than deliver incorrectly placed order or offer drinks. The place is half empty on a cowboy game. I can see why. Food is good if the service manager could train a decent staff this place would be good.
