I had the straight fire pizza & it was good but, I would prefer for the topping to be a bit more done. The toppings (especially the jalapeños) were still pretty fresh, barely cooked & because the crust is so thin, if you fire it too hot, the pie becomes well done and the toppings are undercooked. He was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu very well. We started with the house salad and split the blackened chicken fettuccine with added shrimp -- absolutely delicious. And the dirty martini was made perfectly. We truly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend 501 to anyone living in the Heath or Rockwall area looking for a great dining experience.

One of the best parts is the music level. It's fun and sets the mood, but it's not so loud that you can't actually have a conversation. Table right in the middle of action... 1 min... 2 min... 7 minutes no greeting nothing and a woman walks by and says she will be right us. Cool. Thanks for letting us know. Walks past us 4 more times and nothing. The good thing is clearly someone else noticed and brought us water and said she was helping while the server got caught up. Okay. Everything will be OK. Whole ordering our drinks the server took over. Ordered drinks. App and 2 entrees. Then she was gone. 30 minutes after seating... nothing. Not even drinks yet. 32 minutes... she brings my husband's can of beer. No glass. No manhatten. She says they are working on mine. After 32 minutes (at least 20 minutes after ordering our drink)... can we have a glass? 5+ minutes later she brings me my manhattan... in a wine glass? Before I smell it I ask if its a manhattan because it looked like wine (damn good pour). Her response... I don't know. Never had one before. And still no glass. A. The Manhattan was fabulous and a ridiculously amazing pour. And for the cost... damn. Thats amazing. We decided she never rang in our drinks. Its the only thing that makes sense. It had really quieted down and the bartenders were working hard. And thats fine. But own it. Another 40 minutes and she stopped by once. Said our food was coming. There is a certain energy in a restaurant when people trust it, and Creekside has that. We started with the crab and shrimp dip, which came out hot, creamy, and loaded with flavor. It is one of those appetizers that everyone at the table keeps going back to without even thinking about it. For dinner, we ordered the Red Snapper Alexander and the chicken cutlet parmesan, and this is where the night really took off. The red snapper was cooked perfectly, topped with sautéed shrimp in a white wine sauce that added flavor without overwhelming the fish. The balance was impressive, and the presentation matched what you would expect from a much higher priced restaurant. Then there was the chicken parmesan. As Italians, we do not say this lightly, but this dish stood out in a big way. Creekside blends Alfredo and marinara into a creamy, well-balanced sauce that takes a classic and elevates it. The chicken was lightly breaded, the mozzarella was fresh, and every bite delivered. We awarded this dish our Best of the Best for Chicken Parmesan, and that is something we reserve for dishes that truly separate themselves from the rest. Service was excellent throughout the night. Our server Erin was attentive, knowledgeable, and helped guide us to some great choices. One small note, the fish and chips did not quite match the level we had experienced on a previous visit. It was still good, just not at the same level we had come to expect. That said, it did not take away from what was otherwise a fantastic meal.
