Ample parking available. We were warmly welcomed with a smile as soon as we walked in. The restaurant has a family-oriented, mom-and-pop type of vibe that feels very inviting. Our waiter was kind, patient, and attentive, especially with keeping up with our drinks. The food came out fairly quickly, and we didn't have to wait long at all. Everything we ordered was delicious. I would definitely come back again.

I remember Bill's Cafe being the place to go for breakfast and for brunch. This was well before the rapid expansions, I'm talking about almost 15 years ago. Now? Well, now it just feels like Bill's Cafe is another Denny's. The food is honestly pretty average to sub-par. With all of these other breakfast/ brunch spots, Bill's Cafe really has fallen by the way side. My wife and 3-year old visited before a museum weekend and I was surprised how disappointing our visit was. I ordered the Hawaiian Pancake, which was banana and macadamia nut and coconut shreds pancake. This did not work. The coconut shreds just doesn't mix well with the banana or macadamia nut. Further, the saltiness of the pancake batter was too overbearing. My wife ordered the original Eggs Benedict. That was fairly good. The hash was very good. We ordered a kids waffle for our 3-year old. We added eggs (for +$2). It was like 1 egg. Not worth the price. Coffee mugs were stained. Service was fine. Parking is limited in the small lot. Bill's Cafe is now just another Denny's.

First time at this location and it did not disappoint. Parking lot here is tinyyyyyyyyy so be mindful of others. We had a group of 5 but we were seated quickly on a weekend. I wasn't that hungry so my friend and I split an eggs benedict. Same great taste as any other Bill's cafe. Our server was also very nice and brough joy to us all.

Ordered the Crab Benedict and Chicken and Waffles and it did not disappoint. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was on point. My chicken was fried to perfection and hot. I would come here again.

We came here for the holidays and it was decorated for it as well! I got the special cordon bleu omelette which as cheese, chicken, and ham with hollondaise on top and it was delicious! It came with toast and potatoes which both were tasty as well! My parents got the crab cakes benedict with hollondaise on side which they love each time! My brother got the quesadilla which is so huge he saves some of it for a future meal! Overall love coming to this location!

When you're looking for a true diner vibe with great service, delicious comforting food with big portions and decent prices - this hits the spot! We ordered the regular strawberry pancakes and the chorizo omelette with house potatoes and a side of chicken apple sausage. All were good - only thing I would've switched out was the potatoes for hashbrowns but everything else was tasty!

I love coming to Bills Cafe everytime I finish my PT at MOORE physical therapy in the day time. And today felt like a good day so I came to eat, my late breakfast and lunch. Servers are always so pleasanty inviting and food is great, so I can't ask for more. 5/5 even for the beautiful new setup of the restaurant. 5/5 for everything, so come try them and if you want something like, ask for the side order of the Country Fried Steak and side of biscuit and gravy and maybe add some waffles too, can't beat the food and prices.

When in san jose needing breakfast or brunch, always go to a Bill's Cafe!! They have multiple locations and they're all good (or so far the 2-3 that I've been to). We were in San jose on a Saturday morning before going to a Galaxy Con at the convention center downtown. This particular Bill's Cafe was a 10 minute drive away. We were seated right away and offered coffee promptly. The guava juice is so good and both of our breakfasts were hearty and well cooked. Tri tip Benedict was perfectly cooked, poached eggs nice and runny, steak was a good temperature. Chicken fried steak was oh-em-geeeee good. Thin crispy batter, good gravy, and comes with eggs and either potatoes or Hashbrowns. Country potatoes were amazing and love the onions in them. This is definitely a fancier looking Bill's compared to some of the others that look more old hole in the wall style, but don't let the fancy decor fool you, this is just good old fashioned food.

This place is a classic diner, sweet servers, good food, sweet ambience, what more could you want!

Homey diner that is open early! We had a flight early in the morning so this was a nice stop. The food itself was typical breakfast food and it feels like a home-y diner. The fried chicken benefit was 7/10 -- gravy was a bit overwhelming and made the top soggy. The hashbrown was crispy and was the best part. Can skip: The smoked salmon was decent -- the bagels tasted a bit stale and some of the onions weren't thoroughly cooked. 6/10 Coffee was also a miss -- they offered it to us in the beginning and we wouldn't get it again.

We got up early so we thought of getting some brunch before we head out for the day. We haven't had bills cafe in a long time so we were excited to try. The service was acceptable. Not too bad not too good. You have to keep looking for ppl to come by for service. Even for water and bill. Also. The food was tasteless. Idk if it's cuz they wanted ppl to add their own condiments but we had to add salt and pepper and hot sauce a lot to make it taste decent . The bathrooms were also kinda a war zone as there were only two. And tends to get busy after 11am. Hopefully they would improve service.

Great diner. I've only been here a couple of times, but I really enjoyed the service and food here. Both times I came in were in the weekday morning, so there was no wait. we were greeted right away and ordered. I swear our food came in less than five minutes both times. The serving sizes are very generous, and the staff was super kind. I will definitely come back again and again.

We were originally a larger party, but a few friends fell out and we ended up with the final four. Tho I'm sure we made up with it in ordering. The bigger table came in handy. The server was very understanding. I was pescatarian at the time, so did not take part in all the meat offerings. But I've been to other locations and their steaks are usually pretty good. Their seafood is for a steakhouse. The sea bass was moist and slippery. The lobster bisque was creamy and decadent. One thing that's always consistent at Mastro's is their cocktails. I always get the grey goose martini and it never disappoints. Parking here is awful. I don't ever remember Valley Fair being this bad. Plus, now that you have to pay for parking, you'd think it would get better. Anyways, basically come early to give yourself enough time to find a spot. Good for a special occasion dinner since it can get pricey. REVIEW #4042

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich.
