    Avocado Croffle with Hashies
    Royce S.

First time here since they took over the former Le Peep Cafe spot. Same vibe with same great service. I ordered the Avocado Croffle (a croffle is a hybrid croissant and waffle) very delicious. I also had an order of their Hashies, delicious squares of hash browns, along with coffee to drink. Our server was great and the food was very delicious. If you are looking for a new place to try breakfast or lunch give The Breakfast Mill a try.

Food was meh. Not the greatest pancakes. Needed butter. Service slow. Server was new. Forgot my husband's English Muffin.. had to remind him.,

    Bananas Foster French Toast

My husband and I tried this place and I have to say, we were both pleasantly surprised how much we loved everything!! I had the Bananas Fosters French Toast and it was so tender, but also nicely toasted on the outside with bananas and the sauce spread out on top, but just enough and not too little or too much. Also, with pecans on top and powdered sugar, and the best part was the cinnamon whipped cream on the side. I didn't even need syrup because the whipped topping was the perfect amount of sweetness to top off the perfection of the French toast and all the ingredients! My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs, with tater tots and a biscuit. He worked in the restaurant business for over 35 years and is extremely picky about the crust on a chicken fried steak. He doesn't like when he cuts into the steak and the breading falls off, this was not the case! He did say it might have been the frozen kind, but it was so delicious with a perfect crust and a sausage gravy, that he said it was one of the best he had in a long time. His "hashies" were like square tater tots with 4 little windows and seasoned to perfection. They were crispy and so flavorful, with specs of maybe parsley or something green on top that hit perfectly on the taste buds. The biscuit was a great addition to finish off the gravy! We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. My coffee drink was fabulous too and oh so pretty!!

04/19- Same great food. Great service. Great prices. It was a bit busier which is good for business.

    Lemon ricotta French toast

Got the mill breakfast, and lemon ricotta French toast. Good service, good food, despite a small way to be seated would recommend!

This was our first time at The Breakfast Mill and we will absolutely be back! The environment is very cozy and the staff is kind and helpful- our server Lilly was great! We ordered a waffle, the oatmeal, and the veggie omelette and everything was outstanding. The portions were generous and reasonably priced!

It's hard to find really good breakfast in Stone oak, so I'm extra glad this place is delicious. The food is cooked with care. The biscuits were fluffy and light with a crispy top and the gravy tasted homemade. The stuffed crepe was great and not too sweet. The service was great and we will be back.

Texan Omlette, with substituted tomato slices

Food and service were very good. The new menu has a great section for low carb dieters. It also has great food for those who wish to be healthy or decadent

We can turn something as…read moresimple as grabbing breakfast into an adventure filled with laughter, conversation, and, of course, great food. This time, our morning led us to Pan & Coffee, a bakery and café I picked after spotting its impressive 4.7-star Yelp rating. Pan & Coffee is located on Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio and proved to be every bit as charming as we expected. From the moment we walked in, the café felt warm, inviting, and bright. The open, airy layout, high ceilings, and oversized windows bathed the space in natural light. First, the bakery case immediately steals your attention. Rows of beautifully crafted pastries behind perfectly constructed glass cases practically beg you to take one or three home. Smile. Their selection includes flaky croissants, colorful conchas, sticky monkey bread, cinnamon rolls, fruit-filled pastries, and other freshly baked treats. My brother and I couldn't resist ordering a cinnamon roll and a lemon pastry, and both were absolutely delicious. The pastries were generously sized, making them perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself. For breakfast, I ordered the avocado toast while my brother chose one of their breakfast sandwiches. Both dishes arrived with generous portions and were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Pan & Coffee also shines when it comes to its beverage menu. In addition to traditional espresso drinks, they offer creative specialty lattes infused with Mexican-inspired flavors, including the Dulce de Leche Latte, Brown Sugar Latte, Café de Olla, and the unique Concha Latte. I got the Brown Sugar Latte, which was warm and super flavorful. Great bonding with my big brother and first time experience at Pan & Coffee.

The latter I waited I would say at least 25 minutes for. No, that's not a typo. You could argue I should have asked for a refund or just left, but I already felt committed at this point. I watched them batch up 10 drinks at a time, work on them a bit, walk away, come back and do the next step, then walk away again. Batching drinks makes sense for an order. It doesn't make sense for the whole restaurant. People who ordered 15 minutes after me were getting their stuff at the same time. Drinks at the end of batch were fresh and hot, drinks at the front were of course sitting for that entire time. I could see they were busy, and I prefer to not give people a hard time, but at minute 20 I finally asked if my drink was still being made. I got a shoulder shrug, then she checked and then it was finished and handed to me. No apology for the wait. Apparently I should have asked 15 minutes prior Again, the pastries and coffees are fine. None of them are worth the time spent waiting for them.

It's bright, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere whether you're meeting up with friends, hosting a Bible study, getting some work done, or enjoying a slow brunch. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. As for the coffee, I'd personally rate it around a 7/10. They have fun signature drinks that are worth trying, but I've had coffee elsewhere that I prefer. Everyone's taste is different, though, and that's just my personal opinion. The food is good, but I do find it a bit pricey for the portion sizes. Because of that, I don't usually order food when I visit. That said, their pastries are fantastic! The banana bread is easily one of my favorites and is a solid 9/10. Even though I think it's on the expensive side, I still find myself going often because it's close to home and the atmosphere is so enjoyable. Sometimes you're paying for the overall experience, and Coffee Crush definitely delivers on that. Overall, I'd give Coffee Crush an 8/10. If you haven't been yet, I'd absolutely recommend checking it out and deciding for yourself. Between the gorgeous space, friendly staff, and creative signature drinks, it's definitely worth adding to your coffee shop bucket list.
