Southern Fried Arnold Eggs Benedict. Yolk was perfectly cooked. Sauce was amazing with it.

First time visiting. Took my wife out for a quick surprised brunch. Amazing! Service was great! She had the Toasted Yolk breakfast with turkey sausage. The breakfast sausage was so big she couldn't finish them and we brought home. I had a Southern Fried Arnold Eggs Benedict with turkey sausage. Perfection!

Ordered Unsweetened Tea to drink, for lunch I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich with a Cup of Chicken Tortilla soup. I was surprised at the size of the sandwich which was hot and delicious. The Chicken Tortilla soup was very good. Overall the food was very good and our server Savannah R. did a great job. I like that you can either pay your bill via the QR code on your bill or pay your serv

Service is a little slow, but it's worth the weight because the food is delicious. The restaurant is a bit small to the ambience can be a bit loud. The food came out delicious can't wait to go back.

Such a disappointing experience. This place has a great ambience/menu at first glance but our experience was less than good. Our server acted like she couldn't be bothered with us and was annoyed when we asked questions. The latte I ordered had no milk and was incorrect after I already spoke with her about it. The shrimp and grits soaked complete an entire layer of oil, was completely over salted and was inedible. My husband's eggs benedict was completely overcooked (no running yolk etc). I would give our experience zero stars if possible. We will not be back, sad because this looks like such a cute brunch spot.

My mom wanted to try this place out so we stopped in for breakfast. When you walk-in you're promptly greeted by staff. It was pretty quiet when we came in and were immediately seated. The place itself is nice and clean. It has a clean and bright feel to it. My mom and I ordered the cali fresh omelette. I order mines with plain egg white and my mom ordered the original. I also ordered me a mimosa since it was half off. My mom made the comment of "is it half full because it's half off." Lol They did indeed fill my glass half way. The food itself was nice. The biscuit was a bit dry. I absolutely enjoyed the hashbrown casserole. That was the star of the dish in my opinion. My mom enjoyed her food but stated it wasn't what she was expecting. I would recommend and come back again.

The Toasted Yolk Cafe is a franchise owned breakfast place fairly new to the SA area with the 1604/281 being the 2nd one opened in town. It is clean and has a young modern vibe feel to it and service was on point. I went with the Yolk lovers which included eggs, meat, hash brown casserole, and chose to upgrade the french toast to the cinnamon roll toast. Wifey cloned my meal, but with the normal french toast. Overall, It might be a bit fufu for some but all yoking aside, it was enjoyable, with the hash brown casserole with cheese and the upgraded french toast being the clear winners.

I'll start off by saying I'm on the fence about this place. They've barely been open a few weeks, which might explain my complaints. On the bright side they had lots of open tables and I like the vibrant colors inside. My husband ordered the brisket tacos and I had the double decker omelette. He seemed pleased with his plate. I didn't think mine was anything out of the ordinary. Some of the sausage chunks were cut a little too big. I also ordered a hazelnut flavored latte which was pretty bad. I mentioned to the waitress that it had a weird off putting taste. She just said 'oh sorry about that' and walked away... not the response I expected. We also had to flag her down to ask for to-go boxes and the check. Keep in mind there were only a handful of tables there. I think they might need a bit more training to check in on tables after dropping off food and paying attention if people are visibly looking around to flag you down. I'll give them a few months to hopefully get everything ironed out and will return to try something else. Will definitely skip their coffee though.

    Alaskan Arnold with cheesy grits

Service and food were both phenomenal! As a born and bred Georgia girl, I am always delighted to find a place that serves cheesy grits!!! These were seasoned well and delightful! The salmon on my Alaskan Arnold was perfectly cooked, too! Skylar provided amazing service at the bar! She is an absolute sweetheart and a total gem! The one thing I would work on is adding some height to the barstools. The bar is so high, I felt like I was doing the chicken dance each time I went to cut up or take a bite of my breakfast. These stools need a good 3-5inches to be a reasonable dining height.

No line to get in I was pretty surprised. They offer a full bar and coffee drinks. Even run a few drink specials. I got an omelet that was pretty decent. Food came out quick services was alright. Everything was kind of mid. Some of the lunch items sounded and looked better so I will give them another shot.

I love the vibrant colors in this restaurant and the homage paid to San Antonio in the mural. Our Bloody Mary's had great flavor & presentation. The portions were also extremely large for each of the meals. The Ruben was great aside from the bread being a bit soggy as soon as it may it to the table & we really enjoyed the Greek salad. Aside from this we ordered the west coast Arnold (asked for the cholula ranch on the side) + the hashbrown casserole. Overall a decent breakfasts, I would not rate it the best I've ever had, but I'd go again.

Food wasnt anything to rave about. Service was slow, but friendly. We waited on sweet potatoe fries and 1 pancake for a while. We had to ask for it several times. Place is always packed so make sure you check in online on their waitlist before heading over.

I went during the soft opening when they were testing service and kitchen. A few things on the menu weren't being offered and you could tell the staff was still learning about some of the food. It was fairly busy and food was decent. I'm looking forward to going back later on down the road when they've worked out all the kinks. There is free WiFi here! It was very cool of them to partner with the SA food bank for this opening event.

The atmosphere is bright and airy with cute murals on the walls. Staff were friendly, but still learning the menu themselves. Booths, tables, and bar seating available. Kid menu available with perfect serving sizes. We tried the southern chicken Benedict, brisket scramble, as well as coffee and pancake. No complaints. They have a waiting list you are able to get on prior to showing up. The prices are reasonable. The coffee cups are a bit small in my opinion. Think a Starbucks' tall.

This time, our morning led us to Pan & Coffee, a bakery and café I picked after spotting its impressive 4.7-star Yelp rating. Pan & Coffee is located on Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio and proved to be every bit as charming as we expected. From the moment we walked in, the café felt warm, inviting, and bright. The open, airy layout, high ceilings, and oversized windows bathed the space in natural light. First, the bakery case immediately steals your attention. Rows of beautifully crafted pastries behind perfectly constructed glass cases practically beg you to take one or three home. Smile. Their selection includes flaky croissants, colorful conchas, sticky monkey bread, cinnamon rolls, fruit-filled pastries, and other freshly baked treats. My brother and I couldn't resist ordering a cinnamon roll and a lemon pastry, and both were absolutely delicious. The pastries were generously sized, making them perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself. For breakfast, I ordered the avocado toast while my brother chose one of their breakfast sandwiches. Both dishes arrived with generous portions and were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Pan & Coffee also shines when it comes to its beverage menu. In addition to traditional espresso drinks, they offer creative specialty lattes infused with Mexican-inspired flavors, including the Dulce de Leche Latte, Brown Sugar Latte, Café de Olla, and the unique Concha Latte. I got the Brown Sugar Latte, which was warm and super flavorful. Great bonding with my big brother and first time experience at Pan & Coffee.

The latter I waited I would say at least 25 minutes for. No, that's not a typo. You could argue I should have asked for a refund or just left, but I already felt committed at this point. I watched them batch up 10 drinks at a time, work on them a bit, walk away, come back and do the next step, then walk away again. Batching drinks makes sense for an order. It doesn't make sense for the whole restaurant. People who ordered 15 minutes after me were getting their stuff at the same time. Drinks at the end of batch were fresh and hot, drinks at the front were of course sitting for that entire time. I could see they were busy, and I prefer to not give people a hard time, but at minute 20 I finally asked if my drink was still being made. I got a shoulder shrug, then she checked and then it was finished and handed to me. No apology for the wait. Apparently I should have asked 15 minutes prior Again, the pastries and coffees are fine. None of them are worth the time spent waiting for them.

The concept is simple but appealing: fun, unique combinations of sweet treats that lean slightly toward the lighter side. Think açaí bowls, waffles, and snackable options that could easily double as breakfast or a light meal. I ordered the Berry Good Bowl with açaí, oat milk, strawberries, blueberries, banana, pineapple, granola, almonds, and Nutella. In hindsight I could've skipped the banana and granola, but it was still delicious. The fruit tasted fresh, the sweetness was balanced, and the açaí base held up surprisingly well on the drive home. My cousin went for the Belgian waffle with banana and Nutella--the waffle he has been searching for in the first place--and it did night disappoint. Service was warm and patient while we navigated the menu, and we even got to chat briefly with David, the young lady went. He shared that the business started as a food truck before growing into this standalone shop. The nice young ladies at the counter even offered us to take a flower from their vase of pink carnations for the Valentines. It's a cozy spot with a welcoming I've, even with yea small arts-and-crafts area for kids that makes it feel like a neighborhood hangout. A fun kitty dessert stop when you're craving something sweet but a bit different. We'll definitely be back to try more.
