Southern Fried Arnold Eggs Benedict. Yolk was perfectly cooked. Sauce was amazing with it.

First time visiting. Took my wife out for a quick surprised brunch. Amazing! Service was great! She had the Toasted Yolk breakfast with turkey sausage. The breakfast sausage was so big she couldn't finish them and we brought home. I had a Southern Fried Arnold Eggs Benedict with turkey sausage. Perfection!

Ordered Unsweetened Tea to drink, for lunch I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich with a Cup of Chicken Tortilla soup. I was surprised at the size of the sandwich which was hot and delicious. The Chicken Tortilla soup was very good. Overall the food was very good and our server Savannah R. did a great job. I like that you can either pay your bill via the QR code on your bill or pay your serv

Such a disappointing experience. This place has a great ambience/menu at first glance but our experience was less than good. Our server acted like she couldn't be bothered with us and was annoyed when we asked questions. The latte I ordered had no milk and was incorrect after I already spoke with her about it. The shrimp and grits soaked complete an entire layer of oil, was completely over salted and was inedible. My husband's eggs benedict was completely overcooked (no running yolk etc). I would give our experience zero stars if possible. We will not be back, sad because this looks like such a cute brunch spot.

The Toasted Yolk Cafe is a franchise owned breakfast place fairly new to the SA area with the 1604/281 being the 2nd one opened in town. It is clean and has a young modern vibe feel to it and service was on point. I went with the Yolk lovers which included eggs, meat, hash brown casserole, and chose to upgrade the french toast to the cinnamon roll toast. Wifey cloned my meal, but with the normal french toast. Overall, It might be a bit fufu for some but all yoking aside, it was enjoyable, with the hash brown casserole with cheese and the upgraded french toast being the clear winners.

I'll start off by saying I'm on the fence about this place. They've barely been open a few weeks, which might explain my complaints. On the bright side they had lots of open tables and I like the vibrant colors inside. My husband ordered the brisket tacos and I had the double decker omelette. He seemed pleased with his plate. I didn't think mine was anything out of the ordinary. Some of the sausage chunks were cut a little too big. I also ordered a hazelnut flavored latte which was pretty bad. I mentioned to the waitress that it had a weird off putting taste. She just said 'oh sorry about that' and walked away... not the response I expected. We also had to flag her down to ask for to-go boxes and the check. Keep in mind there were only a handful of tables there. I think they might need a bit more training to check in on tables after dropping off food and paying attention if people are visibly looking around to flag you down. I'll give them a few months to hopefully get everything ironed out and will return to try something else. Will definitely skip their coffee though.

Service and food were both phenomenal! As a born and bred Georgia girl, I am always delighted to find a place that serves cheesy grits!!! These were seasoned well and delightful! The salmon on my Alaskan Arnold was perfectly cooked, too! Skylar provided amazing service at the bar! She is an absolute sweetheart and a total gem! The one thing I would work on is adding some height to the barstools. The bar is so high, I felt like I was doing the chicken dance each time I went to cut up or take a bite of my breakfast. These stools need a good 3-5inches to be a reasonable dining height.

My mom wanted to try this place out so we stopped in for breakfast. When you walk-in you're promptly greeted by staff. It was pretty quiet when we came in and were immediately seated. The place itself is nice and clean. It has a clean and bright feel to it. My mom and I ordered the cali fresh omelette. I order mines with plain egg white and my mom ordered the original. I also ordered me a mimosa since it was half off. My mom made the comment of "is it half full because it's half off." Lol They did indeed fill my glass half way. The food itself was nice. The biscuit was a bit dry. I absolutely enjoyed the hashbrown casserole. That was the star of the dish in my opinion. My mom enjoyed her food but stated it wasn't what she was expecting. I would recommend and come back again.

Booze with a top tier brunch everu day? Finally! The food is creative, delicious, and fun. The menu has just the right amount of choice, without getting tedious with too many dishes. The churro donuts, the southwest Arnold, and the Jackie's Morning Rita are my favorites. THE SERVICE IS THE BEST!! Chaz at the bar is helpful, friendly, fast, and shares just the right amount of her opinions on the menu to elevate every visit. "Ro", the boss lady, is always making sure the front and back of the house are in order, and has a culture of appreciation towards the guests that is refreshing! The local artwork on the wall is a love letter to San Antonio as well. Love this place!

Service is a little slow, but it's worth the weight because the food is delicious. The restaurant is a bit small to the ambience can be a bit loud. The food came out delicious can't wait to go back.

No line to get in I was pretty surprised. They offer a full bar and coffee drinks. Even run a few drink specials. I got an omelet that was pretty decent. Food came out quick services was alright. Everything was kind of mid. Some of the lunch items sounded and looked better so I will give them another shot.

I added black pepper and it helped. My chai latte with oatmilk and a little caramel topped the meal off. Oh, and I ordered some beignets to-go. I remember those being good. I got 3 classics and 1 stuffed with peaches and cream. The music was a mixture between jazz, r&b, and a little funk. It added a nice touch on this rainy morning, especially jamming to James Brown. The hotness was friendly and looked like she was ready for her day. And Sara, our waitress, had a nice disposition early in the morning. She was pleasant, friendly, and efficient.

Those who came early sat at the bar and ordered coffee and if you signed up for text messages you get 15% off which was nice. I got the NOLA brunch plate and tried the mixed beignets. The NOLA plate was good, but super duper heavy. The praline bacon is tasty and nicely sweet, the eggs with seasoning was probably my favorite part. The grits were good just super filling. The fried green tomato was also yummy just a bit salty. Overall 7.5/10 The mixed beignets came with four, a lemon one, chocolate, plain and flavor of the month which was a strawberry jam with sprinkles. Strawberry jam was terrible, a sin to beignets. It's just too sweet and oozes out (2/10). Lemon was okay just a bit too tart (5/10). Chocolate was surprisingly good; it tasted like warm mexican hot chocolate (7/10) Plain will always be my favorite though (8.5/10) even if this one is a bit doughy! Service was good especially for our large party! The interior is gorgeous with great natural lighting.

A Perfect Return to Where Our Forever Began My husband and I…read moregot married at Hotel Valencia one year ago, so getting to return this weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary was incredibly special. As part of our wedding package, they were incredibly generous and included two complimentary nights at the hotel and dinner at Dorrego's for us to celebrate. They are truly the absolute best at what they do and really know how to celebrate their guests! Returning to the very place where we said "I do" was already emotional enough, but Hotel Valencia somehow made the experience even more memorable than our first stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exactly as we remembered them: kind, attentive, professional, thoughtful, and genuinely wonderful. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, and when we walked in on our first day, we found the sweetest surprise waiting for us: a bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a congratulations message written in chocolate on the plate. I actually teared up a little! It was such a thoughtful and adorable gesture that truly made us feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. There is something so special about Hotel Valencia. The environment is exceptional, the service is always outstanding, and even their gorgeous signature scent instantly brings us back to memories of love, celebration, and adventure. Every little detail feels intentional and memorable. I am so incredibly thankful that we chose Hotel Valencia as the place to celebrate both our wedding and our first anniversary. It will forever hold such a special place in our hearts, and we cannot wait to return again and make even more memories there. Thank you, Hotel Valencia, for helping make two of the most meaningful celebrations of our lives absolutely unforgettable!

A Wonderful Stay at Hotel Valencia!…read more We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Valencia on the San Antonio River Walk! The location is perfect step out the front door and you're right in downtown San Antonio. From the hotel restaurant, you can take the stairs or elevator directly down to the River Walk, which makes getting around so easy and convenient. What we especially loved is that this hotel has so much character and charm. It doesn't feel like one of those cookie-cutter chain hotels. We had a balcony, although it was simply too hot during our visit to sit outside and enjoy it. I'm sure it would be wonderful on a cooler evening! The bar and restaurant were both excellent, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to the valet guys they provided wonderful service and were always so helpful. Great location, beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, and exceptional service. We would definitely stay here again when we're back in San Antonio!
