Came here to celebrate one of our mom friend's 40th birthday and was blown away with how great the service and food was here! Everything we had was amazing and flavorful! From the deviled eggs with smoked salmon, empanadas, chicken mole plate with rice to the drink mixing for our El Carajillos right in front of your table. I thought everything was perfect!! We had great experience at our last visit for a wine pairing dinner, but today for Mother's Day brunch it was a bust. Clearly, the restaurant was stretched way too thin with too many reservations. We arrived on time for a 12 o'clock reservation, but were not seated until 1215. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were offered a high top bar table which we rejected along with three of the next customers that came in with reservations. A high top table is not the optimal Mother's Day brunch seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our cocktails were very good, and we are very happy to see Mark as the new lead for their drink service Our waiter was a bit inexperienced. He was very friendly and took our order right away. The prize fix menu included an appetizer, and entrée and dessert. We ordered everything right away, but asked that it would be coursed with proper timing. Unfortunately, we had barely started our appetizer when our main dishes arrived. We ordered a bottle of wine since the wine menu by the glass is less than optimal. By the bottle is a slightly better selection. Unfortunately, our waiter broke the cork in the bottle, yet still served it to us. We dug the cork out and asked for a new bottle to be opened. The Management and bar were very friendly and apologetic for this mistake. Our food was not quite what we had hoped for. My wife's short ribs Benedict had overcooked eggs. My Chilaquiles were soggy and not very tasty. Dessert, strawberry shortcake quite dry We watched the wait staff scramble, bring food to the wrong tables, clearly overwhelmed by the large number of guests on this occasion. We have great hopes for this restaurant. However, for a large occasion such as today ñ, limiting the number of reservations and maximizing customer service, food, quality, and attention to guests would be optimal and we hope they take that suggestion. read more

A friend and I met at Mae Dunnne's in Leon springs for lunch today. I had crabcakes which were absolutely delicious and my friend had eggs Benedict. We both had wonderful lattes. Our waiter was Julio and he was extra fabulous. The entire staff was welcoming and wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The restaurant is beautiful and accommodating for handicapped folks. This restaurant is not recommended, if this place cannot prepare any simple dishes I cannot imagine the more complex dishes that are served there. Lastly, for my girlfriend's dish, she's ordered something very simple too, sourdough bread with avocado spread and 2 over easy eggs with a side of sweet potatoes. The sourdough bread came fine but the avocado that came with it had a sour taste, tasting expired. The eggs came out exactly as mine, coming out almost uncooked with the eggs whites dripping out of the sourdough bread. The sweet potatoes came out extremely salty as well. Let's start with the parking. Perfect lot for plenty of parking spots. Reservations were needed so I'm glad I had those taken care of. The hostesses greeted upon walking in. We came for Easter and it was packed, but we were prepared. Came for brunch and had a good experience. I ordered a chai latte, buttermilk pancakes with chocolate chips and the eggs Benedict. The chai latte was one of the best chais I've ever had. Enjoyed brunch with friends here over the weekend. I had the Turkish toast with scrambled eggs and it was good. The plate did look a little sad so we add my friends bacon for the pic, they are not included with the toast. The place is super cute and while the service was good it was slow. We waited a while for everything from the coffee, food, up until we had to pay. It took a while for us to finally catch the servers attention to ask for the check. FOOD: I had the machacado tacos which were fantastic. A pretty good portion with the beans, but I added the Parmesan truffle fries because they sounded good, and I was hungry. My only complaint was that the fries weren't really coated in the Parmesan truffle flavor. Rather, it was some cheese and garnish sprinkled on top, which didn't affect 80% of the fries. Tacos were awesome though, and they came with a few delicious sauces/salsas. My fiancé said her peanut butter toast was soft and spongey, as opposed to some toasts that are on the heavier side, which was perfect for a light brunch. I had to go around to the back of the restaurant and stand next to a filthy, stinking, oozing dumpster while pounding on the kitchen door for someone to hand me my order. The food was good, but I will never order from them again because that's a completely inappropriate way to do business. We found this place while looking for a place to eat before going to H.E.B. I think it must have recently opened because we are in this area every week and had never seen it. We got here around one and had about a thirty minute wait. I highly recommend reservations, which are through Yelp. Our server was great. The place was slammed, but we never felt unattended. I got the chilaquiles with salsa verde and chicken. My wife got the French toast. My portion was huge and so amazing, my wife is now a fan of chilaquiles. Had the crabcakes three weeks ago for lunch and they were good. Ordered them with the poached eggs yesterday and they were awful like mush and were uneatable. Poached eggs were ok... My wife ordered the sweet potato hash and it was not good either... they piled 5 pieces of bacon to cover up the has mess...
