What a great environment to hang out on a weekday for brunch. I ordered the vegetarian sandwich with a side of fruit and everything was super fresh and delicious. It was a pleasant surprise to have brunch here as I thought it was mainly a cafe. There's plenty of parking and seating inside along with great window views and sunlight. A nice place to meet with friends and a quiet environment. The servers were friendly and the food took a bit of time to arrive but I was not in a hurry. Keep this in mind as you order because it's not the type of quick cafe eats. Although we had a group of 9, it did take a while to get our food served despite most of the meals being sandwiches. First time visit yesterday. A bit confusing to find the cafe due to a lack of signage outside, so FYI: it's the entrance closest to Stone Oak Pkwy (the cafe is the large glass windows) The staff were really nice and very attentive. Not a lot of customers, so our service was quick. One sided menu but several items to choose from. -Pancakes were great-large & fluffy -Bacon was crispy...just ask we like it! -Asked for "hard-boiled eggs," but they were still good -Oatmeal was good & came with dried fruit/butter/brown sugar/chopped walnuts/steamed milk -Chix sandwich was great. The food is amazing. Being greeted with a smile and a staff who aims to be a notch above. Each meal is made with care and love, which is easy to tell with each bite. The Tex-mex eggs Benedict is easy a 5 star restaurant dish. The Founder is definitely their number one dish and is a no brainer when wanting something $10 or less but filling. I will say the soup of the day has never disappointed me either. Don't just stop at the meals... you must try a tart, cookie, muffin, or other pastry made fresh daily! I will say my kids always want a cookie or tart everytime we are near there Solid Rock. I will say Chef Eric and his staff in the Solid Rock Cafe truly have put together an amazing menu and they all show their love for food in everything they do! read more

This is my third time dining at the Solid Rock Cafe, and I was not disappointed. I had the turkey club with a side of chips and homemade salsa, and the lemon tart for dessert. WOW! Huge portions, every bite delicious. My server was polite and attentive. I will definitely eat here again! read more

Let me start by saying the staff is so friendly and attentive. Ms. Heidi always goes above and beyond and is a true blessing. I tried the chicken caesar wrap which was a 10/10, best chicken caesar wrap I have ever had, everything was fresh, I could taste the kiss of the grill on the chicken and the crispy bacon really added to the crunch and flavor of the wrap. It came with a side of the caesar dressing which was nice so I could add as little or as much as I wanted. I opted for the chips and salsa also both 10/10, the chips were crunchy and perfectly salted and the salsa reminded me of a salsa cocida, very flavorful with just a touch of heat. We had a party of eight, they were totally accommodating and had plenty of seating. But next time I would make a reservation, the café is absolutely beautiful, spacious and modern with lots of natural lighting from the windows. The tables are set beautifully and the waitresses were very accommodating. I really love the taste of their coffee, as you can see from our pictures, the food was beautifully plated and the portions were huge . The pound of pancakes is delicious but a lot so I will be sharing them next time with two other people! Totally recommend read more

It's always been my favorite place to eat at after Sunday service with family never had a bad experience until today. Hostess was so rude, not to mention my server never came to my table once to see if we needed anything. When it was time to pay my bill I had to look for them to pay my ticket. It's safe to say I'll be taking my service somewhere else. Even the manager was rude to other customers a table away over coffee being cold telling the lady it was the coffee creamer when she was drinking her coffee black. read more

Came with my three sons to cornerstone church and realized that now they have a restaurant, which was a surprise since we've never seen a church embark this before. We ordered the two eggs omelette and my sons had the same. The service took almost 30 minutes and there was almost no one there (this was a Sunday I remind you) and when we were brought the food the server was really nice but when we got the food was a huge let down, the eggs my sons ordered were scrambled but instead the cook decided that he wanted to give us sunny side up, my sons food had to be thrown away since they can't eat it somewhat raw, I had the coffee black which was casual and probably the only thing they got right that day. The total was around 48 dollars for the 4 of us and atleast they didn't charge tax, I mean why would they....its a church not a restaurant....right? Anyways I don't recommend this place unless you like waiting 30 minutes for eggs just for them to get it wrong, especially on a slow Sunday at the time we had got there.
