The sandwich was very good with the pastrami stacked high and served on toasted rye bread. Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard were included within, just the way a legit pastrami sandwich should. The fries were fries, nothing special other than being a large serving. They have a variety of pies for dessert. I ordered a seasonal one - an individual strawberry pie. I didn't want whipped cream (never been a fan) so it was more like fresh strawberries stacked in a pie crust. Super-DELICIOUS. Service was attentive and gracious. Afterward, I contacted the restaurant to explain the situation and asked if they could either remake the food or provide a refund since I never received or ate the order. They refused to do either. I understand that policies exist, but some level of common sense and customer service should apply, especially when the delay wasn't caused by me and I was responding to an emergency call while serving the local community. In all my years as a first responder, I've never encountered a restaurant unwilling to work with a customer under circumstances like these.

I did have a good first experience here and hope there is quality control measures put in place as food like what we ordered should have never left the kitchen.
