Finally caught someone behind the bar. Yo this spot is cheap and a great way to catch a buzz before and after you shop. A+.

I left a review…read morefor them in 2019 but they moved to a new location; however, the reviews didn't travel with them as they created a new business page. So, after several years, this is an updated review after I recently ate at their new place. The interior is retro-diner with many booths and a cool horseshoe-shaped bar. Although looking like something from mid-20th Century, everything feels new. I was seated in a booth for a late lunch. I chose a pastrami sandwich with fries and an iced tea. The sandwich was very good with the pastrami stacked high and served on toasted rye bread. Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard were included within, just the way a legit pastrami sandwich should. The fries were fries, nothing special other than being a large serving. They have a variety of pies for dessert. I ordered a seasonal one - an individual strawberry pie. I didn't want whipped cream (never been a fan) so it was more like fresh strawberries stacked in a pie crust. Super-DELICIOUS. Service was attentive and gracious. It was a wonderful return visit to Hof's Hut after many years.

I placed a mobile order and arrived at the scheduled pickup time. When I got there, the order still wasn't ready, so I waited an additional 10 minutes. Unfortunately, during that time I received a 911 call and had to leave immediately to respond to an emergency. Afterward, I contacted the restaurant to explain the situation and asked if they could either remake the food or provide a refund since I never received or ate the order. They refused to do either. I understand that policies exist, but some level of common sense and customer service should apply, especially when the delay wasn't caused by me and I was responding to an emergency call while serving the local community. In all my years as a first responder, I've never encountered a restaurant unwilling to work with a customer under circumstances like these.

They've a waterfront location with the most lush environs and sumptuous atmosphere. Dark & tranquil with a hint of sexy and the bay views - come on now. The menu is so fresh and bursting with Asian flavors, and nothing was too heavy. Do try the hoisin ribs - so tender - and the chicken wraps, which were so bright; the burger was also a hit. For the table, the Buddha Rice - hearty and perfect to split. Their staff was all fantastic and it starts at the top. Manager Joe brings a genuine touch to every guest encounter -- he's rich for conversation, so grab him when he makes his rounds and allow him to suggest a fantastic wine pairing. Beautiful service all around. Also worth noting: while they're perfect for enjoying date night, they can easily accommodate larger groups as well. It may have been a rehearsal dinner or joint bachelor/ette they were hosting, but either way, they were entertaining a large party who were also having a blast. Wonderful energy, great vibes. Looking forward to visiting with friends soon!

Within a few minutes, our drinks and started had been ordered (our starter was noted to take extra time). And by the time drinks arrived, we put in our entrees. Definitely plan to come back for a weekend brunch! One thing to note - restaurants at 2nd & PCH do not validate parking, and only the first 90 minutes are free.

We came to celebrate a birthday and this restaurant was the choice of said birthday girl. The reservation process was easy. We were seated immediately. We decided to start with bottled water (Aqua Panna) but several felt it just tasted like tap water and didn't drink it. A waste of money. The restaurant was packed so slow service was to be expected. Our waitress took our order shortly after being seated. Starting with a Ceasar salad, which was the best thing we had all night. It was light and flavorful. 3 of us ordered the much anticipated pot pie as it's now served on Monday and Tuesdays. Sadly we were all disappointed. It completely lacked flavor! This was brought to the attention of our waitress, where I told her it was flavorless and asked for salt and pepper (S&P) to try and fix it. We did receive those items + hot sauce. After 3 rounds of adding S&P, my dish was "ok" enough to eat. I personally felt this could have been handled better, instead of pretty much blown off. 3 of 4 people unhappy with their meal and no sorry, no offer to replace the dish or bringing it the managers attention. 5 mins later she came back to see if the S&P made it better. No credit to the bill, offer for dessert, nada!! Just the full check brought to our table for payment. After our bill was paid, we saw the manager and called him over. After notifying him of how horrible the pot pie was, he did provide a gift card as an apology to the person in our party who got his attention since our bill was already paid. The card amount is approximately enough to cover 1 pot pie including tip and tax (with a small bit left over). I do appreciate he tried to make it right(ish), but 3 meals were horrible, not just 1. I did have a good first experience here and hope there is quality control measures put in place as food like what we ordered should have never left the kitchen. With so many wonderful higher end restaurants in town, it will be a while before I give this place another try. BTW, they do not validate, so parking on the street is ideal or be aware of the time limit for free structure parking.

For starters, we got the Parker House Rolls, which comes with truffle butter, local citrus honey, and grana padano cheese. These rolls were so fluffy and flavorful. We also ordered the hummus, which was so rich and creamy, and the oysters from the raw bar. For the main, we ordered the Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop, Fish & Chips, and the Wedge salad to share. And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. We ended the dining experience with their Peach Cobbler Hand Pie, which came with streusel, pistachio crumble, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area!

She then said you and your party can get out or I can call the cops. Margarita clearly was not a GM but felt that she needed to keep creating an unnecessary situation. The situation was already de escalated when he complied with what she asked.
