Walnut Creek is fortunate to have a live music venue hosted by such accommodating owners in a conveniently located entertainment venue. Their staff are not only attractive, they're interesting and welcoming. This large open venue offers a variety of entertainment with a lot of personality and the owners really know music. Each event has a different flavor and crowd, and it's a good idea to buy your tickets ahead for any shows because this place gets really busy. I have been incredibly impressed with the individualized service from each of their bartenders and bouncers. They do their best to keep everyone satisfied under circumstances that are incredibly restrictive for any businesses in their Industry. If late nights aren't your thing, try their Sunday afternoon dance parties. I had no idea what to expect when I wandered in after following the music to their door after running errands and had a blast. I've also met some really sweet people there through karaoke which they no longer offer weekly ...but hopefully they'll add an open mic night soon. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Music was great , the set up was very nice, drinks were okay. We bought a table regarless of the bad reviews , we had to try it ourselfs. The bouncers were super friendly, Alexis our server was doing a great job, we loved her , then she disappeared. When we asked the blond bartender what happen she was EXTREMELY RUDE and said we had to buy our own drinks at the bar now and it was none of our business what happened to alexis. I BOUGHt the table for 3 friends and I so we can be served and all the sudden we werent served anymore with no warning or explanation. She also was very unprofessional and demeaning towards an employee in front of everybody. I dont go to places to be treated like crap. So my friends and I refuse to go back while that Bartender is working there. She needs an attitude check, and take hospitality and customer sevice classes. read more

Visited this venue Saturday evening with family and coworkers and was completely astonished on how the evening turned out! Jessica was great; but when I asked for a plain club soda from one of the males bartenders he told me it would be $4.00 that's crazy! FYI bars and restaurants do not normally charge for soda waters or club sodas.... after enjoying the Fleetwood Mac cover band I was astonished to find my family member completely obliterated after one drink; leads me to believe she was roofied. I have witnessed & unfortunately experienced this first handbin the, past so I know all the side affects and outcomes. I caution whomever ventures here to be aware of what's been served to you. I attended the grand opener. Loved the band mustache harbor but $20 cover and $16 4 oz pour of crappy red wine? There is too much competition to charge these prices. Wise girl has no cover and drinks are reasonable and same for retro junkie. I think a $10 cover is fair but seriously if you are going to charge $16 for a glass of wine....make it a decent wine. The place was crowded and there are no places to sit except a few tables. No seating at the bar all stand up. I love the band selections though...best around. read more

The bartender has a terrible attitude!! Music was great and everybody else was so friendly but the bartender is on a huge power trip!! Terrible attitude and extremely rude. She acts like she's doing you a favor serving you and you are inconveniencing her. I've never been treated like that by a bartender. Was not shocked to come here and find all the bad reviews about her but I am shocked they are not doing anything about it. Place is great, but they will definitely lose a lot of customers because of her. It's a shame, but I will not be going back because of that reason. There is nothing "upscale" about this place at all! It looks like a bare, dirty warehouse with no ventilation and poor AC system. It's standing room only in less you want to pay a ridiculous price for "VIP Bottle Service" to get a seat - which was a complete joke! Tickets to a show were $28.00 each which seemed high especially since it's standing room only. Keep in mind, we already paid $224 just for tickets and no credit was given towards a table. Since there was 8 of us, we paid an additional $500 for the "VIP Bottle Service" and a couch area that supposedly sat 8. Wrong! It was 3 tiny couches shoved together that sat 6 comfortably (not 8) and a tiny plastic table. It came with a 750ml bottle of Tito's and 2 mixers, all shoved in a bucket half full of ice with plastic cups. There was absolutely no service at all! Nothing! Nada! Zero! Zilch! No one ever came around to check on us or serve us (we were perfectly fine pouring our own drinks) so we ended up having to go to the overcrowded bar ourselves to get more ice and mixers! Add in the fact that this so called VIP Bottle Service didn't even include water so we had to yet again, go to the bar, wait over 10 minutes to even get a bartender and pay for overpriced bottled waters. Here's the absolute kicker! We were going to order another bottle of Tito's for our group since it was easier to serve ourselves and not wait 10+ minutes each time to get a drink at the bar but they wanted to charge us $240 for another bottle! Seriously????? You can get it at Costco for $17!!!! When I laughed and had the look of shock on my face, the guy behind the bar got an attitude with me. The Dudum's really need to understand the meaning of "upscale" and "service" before they promote their club that way and they need to teach their staff all about customer service and to lose the attitude. There was nothing upscale about this place at all so don't act like there is towards your paying customers. All in all, It was a complete waste of money, extremely poor or nonexistent service and over all, very unimpressive. We'll never go back again. If I could give it 0 stars I would so the 1 star is for the sound system. To sum it all up, don't waste your time and money. There are way better places to go in WC with better service! read more

The guy who keeps opening these lackluster, half-finished nightlife spots and trying to turn Walnut Creek hipster needs to retire--he is ruining our fair city. Walnut Creek is a mixed bag of nuts with people coming in from East County after hours. Shocking to me that city council would let this fly. People with class see through any attempt to TRY to be upscale when cocktails are bad and the room is crowded, sweaty and infested with, well, let's face it... infestation. We went to watch Petty Theft who was great. It was a nice evening, loved the club with the exception of a server/worker named Jessica. She was rude and hysterical while working with customers. I have never gotten such terrible service from a bartender in my life. My friends were waiting at the bar for service for over 15 minutes and got nothing. I went to close mine and my friend's tab and the bartender came to me but didn't pay any attention to what I said, closed out my friends tab, and when I reminded him I was closing my own tab out as well, rolled his eyes at me and went to the next person. What a rip off! General admission ticket of $25 gets you a place to stand all night. We assumed there would be some seating somewhere, but as it turns out, you have to buy a table if you want to sit down. This is a terrible venue as it is not indicated that the General Admission tickets were standing room only. We felt we were exhorted as we had to pay an ADDITIONAL $300 at the door for a table with NO wait staff. It also seemed they may have gone over the maximum people allowed. It was very claustrophobic and while they could open the huge doors to allow air in there, they did not. What was especially troubling was that there was no mask mandate and almost no one inside were wearing masks. I will never return! read more

If there was a zero that's what I'd give the Broadway Club. A terrible venue. Website said show starts at 8pm. Doors didn't open until 8pm. Went to see the SunKings. Paid 25.00 general admission. What the website fails to tell you is that is standing room only no seats.. If you want seats they have a good exhortation plan to buy a table. Table cost $300.00 with no credit for the $150.00 you had already spent. Table on the dance floor. Not a mask in sight. One thing we thought would happen is they would open the garage doors, they didn't. Terrible ventilation, not a mask in sight ,people with their butts in your face ,sweating not Covid wise. Unfortunately we left after 15 minutes . How they can expect people to stand for 3 hours in beyond me. Website is very misleading. we had tickets to Petty Theft and we canceled them. We will never return to this venue. If you want an enjoyable and comfortable evening of music the Broadway Club is not for you. read more
