We had a 3 hour layover and all along planned to find the best place to eat since there was so much exploring and investigating time. Pretty good for airport pizza- cooked to order in a wood fired oven. We had pepperoni, along with a roasted veggie wrap which was packed full of fresh veggies and flavor. My interaction with the cashier was very pleasant. Seating is tight but there are plenty of counter seats at the gates. Pricing is a bit high ($22 for a 12" pepperoni). Excellent quality pizza and wraps, located in the first half of Terminal #1. These folks really pay attention to the detail by using fresh vegetables and making everything fresh for you. The Fennel Sausage pizza was really tasty and prepared perfectly. Cooking it in the fire oven right in front of you is a nice touch. read more

This is my second visit here. This time I got the Farmer's cheese toast. The tomatoes on top were seasoned which I think, makes a big difference. I added hot pepper flakes since I like spice. The Bronze Pizza was nearby our boarding gate B6, the entire place looked packed with diners, including the bar area, and the order line was long. They looked full. So, the decision was to eat here. We didn't have time to eat a "Chicago" pizza in the city, but figured before leaving for San Diego, get something in to say we did. Not able to compare the pizza to anything, but from what others that have eaten Chicago pizza (deep dish), Bronze pizza was on the thin side. Not beefy at all. But then again, it's airport pizza. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!! Possibly the worst customer service I've ever encountered. While dining at this location, 1/14/26, around 3-330 pm, my young child accidentally spilled a drink. I informed the staff so the spill could be properly cleaned to prevent any patrons from slipping on the restaurant's property. Two employees handed me paper towels and told me to clean it up myself. I asked if they want to mop the area, but both responded with an extremely rude and disrespectful tone, repeatedly saying since it was "your kid who made the mess, you clean it" and they claimed to not have a cleaning crew on staff!! Ironically, shortly after, another employee came out from the back and cleaned the spill properly using a mop, soap, and water. This individual was the only staff member who behaved professionally, not aggressively or rude! In addition, when my husband asked both of them for their names, they covered their name tags, continued being rude. Save yourself the gut ache and pass on this place. They cook the pizza if you even want to call it that for maybe 2 minutes and while the crust may look appealing. Trust me it is not. The entire bottom is raw dough. The texture alone will want to make you vomit but it's just completely inedible. I hate mayo. It makes me gag. I ordered a $20 sandwich. Repeatedly said NO MAYO!!!!! It says very plainly no mayo on my receipt. The lady making the sandwiches is as more interested in singing the songs than reading and making orders right. It takes forever. I get my sandwich. Head to baggage claim because I'm on a time crunch. I get to the baggage claim take a big bite of my sandwich and immediately start gagging. This sandwich is absolutely drenched in mayo.
