The cheese and chicken (to nicely put it) politely entertain your tastebuds with familiar clichés of Mexican food, rather than BEING Mexican food itself. I will say it's salty enough, it's peppered enough, but overall it stays safe. The tortilla is nicely cooked to a crisp, but doesn't become a tortilla chip. The hashbrowns came in a small bowl, as expected, being that it was a side. Pretty standard as far as hashbrowns go, crunchy outside, and nice salty interior. It's marginally better than the frozen hashbrowns you get at grocery marts. Personally, I think the OJ mimosa I got with this combo upgraded my experience here. Primarily because of the orange juice itself, but overall I felt like I got a good experience here. This is a good brunch spot for people who don't have to work till noon or evening. read more

We bought our team of 8 for a new year brunch meeting. The staff was extremely accommodating and set up a long table for us at the back of the dining area so we could have some privacy for our meeting. There are SO many food options, there's something for everyone! We have vegetarians and gluten free individuals on the team, so it was great that they had multiple choices to choose from. They also have GF toast! I had the chicken and waffles, with a side of mac and cheese. The waffles were perfectly crispy and it was topped with a brilliant combination of maple syrup and hot honey. I would have like the mac and cheese to be creamier/cheesier (it was on a drier side but had a bit of cheese pull) but others enjoyed it. I love that there's a little bar area for those who want to be in the action of the kitchen or have come alone. I can't wait to bring my fiancé so we can try more of the menu. I wanted to give 2 stars based on my last 2 visits but thought it may be a bit harsh. I use to love this place and use to promote it to everyone. It just seems since they have opened another location it has gone downhill. "Growing pains" I am still willing to give it a chance with hopes it comes out of the rut. I am a early riser so I am always there when they open. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Music is too loud. I dont mind music but at 7am I dont want to raise my voice to my dining companion[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The scrambled eggs use to be light and fluffy and now its scrambled eggs left on the griddle and flipped over. An empty omlet so to speak. I use to rave about the baked beans not knowing if they are homemade or jazzed up from a can but I really like them. The last 2 times they were so hot that I didnt eat them before I left and this past time they were grey with no flavor. So dissapointing. The service was always top notch and now it isnt consistent. I hope with the newly renewed lease they take these comments and do better. Breakfast is now a $25 ticket. It should be consistently good in Quality, ambiance and service. I went here with high expectations, as the reviews are great and the photos of the food look very appetizing. Unfortunately, it was all cold. The only hot thing on all of our plates was the sausage on my plate. The syrup on the table was very thick and hard to pour onto the pancakes and french toast, but it did taste good. The iced decaf coffee was great! I don't know how many times I've ordered Chicken & Waffles at various restaurants to be disappointed when I receive tasteless, floppy waffles and disappointing chicken. That ended today. The savory waffles that accompany the house prepared chicken tenders were crispy on the outside yet still had a fluffy interior. The amount of bacon, cheddar, and scallions was just right. The coating on the chicken tenders was and also perfectly seasoned. No notes. Other items enjoyed were the Southern Scramble and The Kitchen Sink. The service was excellent, even on a busy holiday Monday. It was very evident how team members support each other resulting in guests enjoying a seamless experience. Looking for a spot to brunch with some friends on a Sunday, a few friends and I decided to check out the Brunch Club which had recently opened. Upon walking in, there were a lot of parties waiting to be seated, so we put in our name, and the host said it would be about a 30 minute wait. Turns out, you can also make reservations by calling in, as they do not have a way of reserving online. We waited the 30 minutes, which turned out to be accurate timing and were seated in the venue. The venue itself looks bigger than it actually looks, and it is occupied with various table seating and a small bar. My friends and I were seated at a table where the host notified us that they were short staffed and thanked us for our understanding. Our waitress quickly approached us and was pleasant and attentive throughout our experience. As far as the offerings at the brunch club, they have a wide array of breakfast and lunch offerings. They also serve various cocktails. My friends and I started with some of the boozy drink offerings. I opted for the bloody mary while others went for the mimosa. I will say that I appreciate that the bloody mary mix was homemade, as we could see the blended mix at the bar. Unfortunately, the bloody mary had too much horseradish for my liking...to the point where it made me cough and get watery-eyed with each sip. Everyone else enjoyed their mimosa, and I eventually switched to the mimosa. Food ranges from your typical breakfast food to salads to sandwiches. Given that it was around 11, I decided to try a lunch offering while some others went for breakfast. I ordered the chicken caesar salad wrap, which was good and I got it with the house chips (you can also get fries) and it comes with a pickle. Someone else got the club which was HUGE, another got the reuben with corned beef (which ended up coming out pretty fatty), and another got the hash and the kitchen sink. Other than the reuben, everything was good...though I wouldn't say that there is anything about the Brunch Club that is setting itself apart from other brunch places, particularly in the Dover area. Again, it was good, but am I planning my next return? No. Would I go if other friends wanted to try it? Sure, though I might try to steer the conversation towards other locations. read more
