    Chicken sando and breakfast sando
    Adam H.

Amazing chicken spot with even better service! Stopped by to grab their second hottest chicken sandwich and one of their breakfast sandwiches. Both were amazing and super fresh!! Pro tip: be sure to grab their breakfast sando with fried chicken and egg. The presentation is unreal and it is way too Yummie!!

PICNIC CHICKEN potato salad, cajun seasoning, bacon, mayo and pickles

Great sandwich - The Picnic with Nashville Hot Sauce. The fries were really good. Fresh, hot, and crispy. Atmosphere fine. A bit hard to find via GPS but just head to the backside of Bar Louie. Efficient friendly service.

Great restaurant when you want a quick meal, but quality. Visited here while in town for a conference and was thoroughly impressed with their menu and variety of offerings. It's a clean facility, plenty of parking, and surrounded by many other businesses. Service was great although I don't think they were expecting a massive lunch crowd. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with Fries which was really good. Definitely give this restaurant a try if you're in the area!

    Burnt chicken tenders

We went here around 2:30-3:00pm it was dead, only one other customer in the place. Ordered chicken tenders (plain for two kids) and a sandwich (for myself). The tenders were so over cooked they were almost black, the kids couldn't even chew them, they were so dry. The kids ate all the sides and then I got them some food in our hotel restaurant afterwards. Honestly for $50.00 for this food is insane. Just go somewhere where you know you're gonna get decent food. Don't go here.

Half eaten popcorn chicken. I was too hungry to take the pic first. Popcorn Chicken

This place is a hidden gem! The food was fantastic! Made fresh. The sauces were delicious. The price was so affordable. It was clean and so comfortable. Everyone needs to come check this place out!

    Fried Cornbread

Great fast casual fried chicken restaurant. Unique how they use chicken thighs instead of breast on their sandwiches, and it actually makes it more flavorful. Some other unique items worth trying like fried cornbread. Service was quick and attentive, would definitely go back

That's their potato salad. I ordered the garlic parm chicken. Everything was delicious.

Ok this place is standing on business when it comes to food and customer service. The food is tasty and the manager is lovely, he made my ordering experience educational and nice.

    Burned egg

Picked up food to go, the egg was totally burnt, not just slightly either. I took a bite and got a terrible burnt taste. The chicken even tasted burnt. The biscuit was stale too. I also added a classic tender but it was too spicy to eat. I think they must have used the wrong seasoning on it. So basically a wasted $10.

It makes the experience much more enjoyable. The only reason I'm giving a strong 4 stars instead of 5 is the customer service from some of the staff. While not everyone falls into this category, many of the employees can come across as a bit reserved. Once you engage with them, they're usually pleasant, but a few more smiles and a warmer atmosphere would really elevate the experience. KKC has some of the best halal fried chicken I've had in the US, especially in the DFW area. This is one of those comfort meals you crave at 9 PM on a Tuesday that can't be beat. The ambiance is that of your average hole in the wall chicken joint. Overall I rate this place 8 s/10. ------------ The Zinger burger (basically a spicy chicken sandwich) is my go to order from here, a solid 8.5/10. They always put a huge chicken patty in there and a generous amount of sauce. You really can't go wrong. Their chicken itself is an 8/10, upgraded to 8.5 with the garlic sauce. They really got the spices down right. I would not recommend the Mac and cheese (5/10), it's very watery and lacked any flavor. The potato wedges were great though. One thing to note is that some of the side dishes have different prices on online orders when you add them on to your entrees vs. adding them separately ($.99 + difference). **Average Dish Cost(s): Under $8. **Food: 3 Piece White Meat Meal ($9.28)-- I chose white meat ($.80) and extra biscuits ($1.89) which increased the price from $6.59. The chicken was extremely delicious. It tasted fresh despite my order being late in the day and the skin was crisp and seasoned so well that I ate all of it. Usually I'll peel the skin off and discard it, but not this time. The white meat was juicy and nothing pink was found. 10/10. Extra biscuits ($1.89)-- These biscuits were some of the best I've ever had. Their outward appearance didn't match how delicious they were. They were soft and had an essence of honey to them. Side Mashed Potatoes ($2.99)-- I admit I was hesitant to eat this because I expected more of a brown gravy, but these were amazing! Not too salty and they tasted fresh. **Seating: Looked to have regular table style seating that is closed off due to the virus issue. **Location: It's located next to a bunch of other establishments within a mini strip type of place. Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

Bro, plumbing is confusing). Naturally, I had to ask AI where to get the absolute best fried chicken in Dallas, and it sent me here. Ordering online was super easy, though I wished the menu had pictures because I like to see what I'm getting. Exactly 20 minutes later, I got the text that it was ready. The parking lot is tiny. If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. But I was so hungry, so a quick drink later, piece number two and on were absolute perfection: juicy, meaty, and flawlessly seasoned. So that first piece of chicken just was coated in not-fully-mixed-well seasoning batter or something like that. I am officially obsessed. Come September when bulking season hits, I'm literally going to live here.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.

I went through the drive-thru around 3:30 p.m., after the lunch rush, which I appreciated because there wasn't a line. However, the service wasn't pleasant. The employee at the window made the interaction feel rushed, almost as if I was inconveniencing him. I had to ask for my condiments twice because he seemed more focused on juggling the drive-thru window and taking another order over the speaker than making sure my order was complete. That was frustrating. To make matters worse, the chicken sandwich itself was disappointing. Instead of a nice, even filet, it was more like a ball of chicken that wasn't even suitable for the bun it was served on. I'm honestly not sure why it made it out of the kitchen looking like that.
