I admit I had been nervous to check this place out- as I'm not much of a drinker, & odd strip mall location... but I must admit I was very impressed! Very accessible (flat entrance, plenty of parking.) I did not feel pressured to drink at all (had refreshing bottled water w/readily offered glass of ice) & there was a great range of people from young 20s to seniors. I thoroughly enjoyed myself when dancing as well as while watching the dancing. Free dance lessons are avail most nights- & everyone seemed genuinely patient. I was also pleasantly surprised with the mix of music played... from country to light rock. Definite recommend for anyone over 21 looking for a fun night out in a smoke free environment. read more

Country and Western bar with large dancefloor. They charged $5 cover. The place was about 80% full. My friends told me it's usually packed on the weekends. Large bar with lots of drink selections. When I was in my 30s I used to visit these kind of bars frequently. Now I'm a bit older and I'm not up to this action anymore. They age average is from 20-40 if I had to guess. read more

Security was ridiculously aggressive. Unaware of patrons. Kinda like early "Road House". I'd be embarrassed AF if I was the owner. But she's the one responsible for highering these clowns. Cool bar, but the drinks are overpriced and they're always understaffed. Takes forever to get a drink. Also this is the only bar around that I know of where people wait in a line and order one by one. Much quicker for multiple people to be able to order from the bar so if someone just getting a bottled beer on their tab the bartender can grab it while they're getting other drinks. Pretty ridiculous, I'm always dying of thirst at this bar. read more

Dancing is cool but the service is so bad and bartender didn't know how to make drinks. She was new and we wouldn't hold that against her if she was at least nice. I won't be going back. The bartender walked out and left everyone because she got mad which was at least entertaining. On top of that the owner is a mess, belligerent, and only made matters worse when we tried to explain bad service. read more

Walking past the joint starving new year eve and nothing open and see no cowboys and rap music bumping and door man i am not a say bouncer he was not that qualified for the job because told no food and completely a door man with lil door man GUEST im he was my door man i can function without the burger but open up say something not be a doosh with the door key. This place is hilarious. The bouncers at the front take their jobs very seriously even though on a Sunday night, only 10-20 come in on hip hop night. I actually saw a bouncer break a customers nose, I still wonder if that bouncer ever got sued for inappropriate conduct... It used to get packed years ago but now, not so much. If they had a better DJ and drink specials it could probably be like the "good ol days" on a Sunday night aka circa 2008... The current DJ is dated and plays old music and nothing new. I've never been on a country night - I've heard those were fun. Might have to try it out sometime! read more

I was in town visiting family and we were looking for an adult night out. Eventually came upon this place and it was a night to remember. Great crowd, live music, large dance floor. At the bar, Sarah was AWESOME, even helped me carry multiple shots over to our table. I don't see myself making the 11 hour drive to Boise very often, but I know where I'm going to get a drink when I do! read more

We weren't even allowed into the bar after my husband tried to joke with the rude, intense woman taking id's at the door she became upset and called the bouncers. Unprofessional and rude. She shouldn't be working with people. Glad we spent our going out money else where. Won't be back! read more

Really rude bartender there named Joshua. The bar is just really a meat market interested only in getting every dime out of a customer they can get, no care about customer service or safety. You cannot even get a glass of ice water there unless you purchase a bottle of water. There are definitely much better places to dance and party in Boise. read more

So I went to this country bar for my good friend Nicole who was here from out of town. Not being a country fan I was sort of reluctant to go but after hearing the band it was ok. My friend wanted to dance but I was in flip flops and wasn't able to spin. I kicked off my flip flops and began dancing. I was immediately approached by a large burly man and demanded I put my shoes back on. Mind you, we weren't on the dance floor but just by our table. I asked why and he couldn't explain why. I asked to see the policy or where it was of course he couldn't show me. I was being very respectful but truly wanted to understand the policy. He was extremely rude and it escalated at which time I called him a male anatomy name (not my proudest moment). Right after that he called for backup and another large burly individual came and escorted me out. On the way out, my friend was asked to dance. I asked if I could just wait for her to dance because I wasn't comfortable leaving her. I even told told the two security guards that I would stand right by them. They said no because " I called them a name." So this 165lb woman was escorted out of a bar by two huge security guards. read more

The bartender w/ pitch black hair and bangs is one of the rudest bartenders I've ever come across. The decor is enjoyable and rustic. But it's the local meat market. I'll give it another try some day. read more

I think it is absurd and likely illegal to not provide tap drinking water to your customers who are are purchasing alcoholic beverages! If a customer WANTS to spend $1:50 on bottled water great! But to not allow your bar tending staff give your customers free water is ridiculous! read more
