So came to this place on 6/30/2026 while I was in Long Beach after a big Mexico win in the World Cup, walked in at 9:45 asked to get some wings because I was hungry after a big win and this place said they were closed and no longer serving food when the sign said they closed at 10 o'clock. So the customer service is definitely thrown out the window, didn't get to try the food and all I saw was a guy/cook standing there holding up equipment and a girl doing nothing just waiting to close. The ambience was empty and nobody was there. There was plenty of people out and about because of the big Mexico win from the World Cup. But like I said they were already, Ready to go home at 9:45 & close shop @ 9:45pm. I will never come back to the spot ever and I hope people see my post and not go here as well. I'm in the food industry and when it says 10 o'clock we take an order up to 10 o'clock no matter. I was really hoping to try the wings cause what caught my attention. These wings definitely hit the spot! They were so crunchy, crispy and full of flavor. And they are pretty large in size so they don't disappoint. I was a little less impressed with their salad.. but I guess its more of a wings place.. they just added a few slivers of onions amd a couple of cubed tomatoes.. nothing special just lettuce. They missed the cucumber and would be nice to add croutons or something.. but other than that the parmasan wings were a hit. Would recommend! They have places to sit and eat or to wait. This place is one of my guilty pleasures lol I used to order from here on Uber eats weekly for their chicken fries. This was the first time I came in and grabbed food. They have private parking in the back. It was actually really crowded when I came in. Mostly packed with people waiting for to go orders and Uber eats drivers. They have kiosks to order on but since I had a birthday coupon I had one of the staff members take my order I ended up getting a coupon for my birthday by signing up for their emails. So I came in and got one order of chicken fries (garlic Parmesan) and then another order (BBQ) and two drinks. I also love their chipotle sauce flavor. They actually have a pretty good selection of flavors to choose from I always order the boneless chicken because I don't like having to work that hard for my food and having to pick chicken off the bones Not going to lie, this place hits the spot after a long day. I honestly was looking for a place to order takeout for my sister. So I called and asked for prices and then called back to place an order. Both times I spoke with Charlie. He was kind, attentive, and very polite. It turns out that my sister went to the Buffalo Spot in Lakewood for the order, not the one on 7nth Street in Long Beach. I was mortified. I called back to cancel my order and Charlie picked up the phone again. I apologized profusely, but again, Charlie was so very kind and gracious. He gets an A+ for customer relations and courtesy. I drive past this spot all the time and every time I get to the light I tell myself, "I have to try it." But for some reason I never do. Last week, I was out running around heading to book club and needed food, so I decided to try this place. It was on its way and easy enough to make me on time. Well, it backfired on me in a big way. Astonishingly good customer service was provided to me. A friendly smile and a warm welcome greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. My orders were correct and a friendly, attentive, and efficient staff supplied everything I needed. In the back, there are about ten parking spots, however, they might fill up quickly and street parking isn't the best option. The patio is limited however well-maintained, with maybe a few tables and chairs. It's an alright spot to enjoy a meal on a warm day. There is minimalist decor inside, with modern furniture and plenty of legroom, along with a public restroom. They had my favorite type of fries, but I don't know the brand, so I'm just going to call them fast-food fries. It took about 10-15 minutes for the 3 tender combo with BBQ sauce to be made, so I waited in the lobby for about 10-15 minutes. In the meantime, I decided to try a Fri, because they were right there, while I waited for my Target pick-up order. It completely underwhelmed me. Despite my high expectations, the fries were a major disappointment. In addition to the texture being unpleasantly rough, the flavor was nonexistent and crispy, but not in a good way. Additionally, the chicken tenders themselves were disappointing. I found them overbreaded and the texture wasn't very natural. Aside from being too crunchy and overpowering, the breading made it hard to enjoy the chicken itself. The chicken was complete lack of seasoning. The biggest issue was the sloppy BBQ sauce. It was like they poured the sauce straight from the bottle into the container without considering the texture or presentation. And don't even get me started on the taste - it was like they just used cheap, store-bought BBQ sauce that lacked any real depth or flavor. The most disappointing part was the price. Tenders and fries cost almost twenty dollars, which is highway robbery. I've had better at a fast food joint for a fraction of the price. Which is why I choose to return the order. One thing that really impressed me was the way the cashier dealt with the situation. Instead of getting angry or upset, he remained calm and professional, offering a refund and was willing to let me keep the food, but I chose to return it. Buffalo Spot is a great place to get some affordable quick take out. They specialize in their "buffalo fries" which ultimately is a side of fries with some flavored popcorn chicken on top. My go-to is usually the Cali Burrito which is the same ordeal as the Buffalo Fries but just wrapped in a burrito. I've been coming here since about 2016 so I'm not sure if today was just an off-day or if the quality has declined throughout the years as the chicken in my Cali Burrito tasted chewy and was just overall rubbery. It was quite empty upon my visit which is surprising as they're usually pretty popular. I would suggest the owner to stay on top of their quality control in order to avoid serving meh food and to draw the crowds in. Going forward I'll probably order my chicken well done to prevent this in the future. I do encourage people to come try it for themselves though! I ordered the FP Traditional Wings(25), with Atomic Hot and Original hot flavors with a side of fries and two drinks. Great value. They have great deals on Tuesday and Thursday, so try to come during those days for the best price and experience. This location has rewards programs, so if you're a big fan of wings, it's so worth it. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. I've been to buffalo spot before and it was great! as a vegetarian, i love their cauliflower wings, but today i was so disappointed :( i got bbq wings my with extra cajun cauliflower, but didn't see the extra on my fries so i asked the person working if it was on there. She politely told me that it should be on there and is just mixed in (the girl working was lovely absolutely no complaints with her), but when i went home to eat i realized they had not given me the extra cauliflower. Visted November 2024. Before diving into the review I have to note that the customer service greeter Luna was amazing, she answered my questions, knew the menu, and was a delight. The food itself was good. I gotta say that shake was stellar and I LOVED that it didn't use a strawberry concentrate but real jelly which included cut strawberry slices within the shake. The same can be said about the chunky peanut butter including its peanuts. The fries were crispy on the outside while soft on the inside. However, it was the seasoning and sauce that were extra super duper yummy. I believe it was their special sauce and Cajun seasoning. I ate it up... The overall restaurant was clean, the restroom itself had a tissue or two on the floor but I'd assume that's because of other customers- not the restaurant workers themselves. Additionally, I counted three of them so I'd give them a break anyways. My GF & I's go to!! We've literally been here about 4-5 times in July alone lol. Our work just moved to LB from Costa Mesa so Buffalo Spot is way more accessible! Every time we've been here the service is excellent. They welcome you and serve you right away. Their extremely helpful too, they'll run through the menu with you or if you want to do it yourself they have a self serve kiosk. I use the kiosk because it's just easier for me and I don't have to talk to anyone. I like it mostly because whenever we come in we're usually in a hurry and the kiosk is always open. The food is always on point; everything is so hot and crispy! The fries are delicious! One of the times we came in we tried an Oreo shake. That was pretty delicious! I'll most definitely try another shake soon! The inside is really cool, there's some TV's that play a show or movie and they have some dope art work on the walls. I love Buffalo Spot! Decent wing option if you're a fan of Buffalo wings. I think their regular Buffalo sauce is the closest I've had to what I'm used to eating from when I was living back in Buffalo. Their blue cheese also is decent with good chunks, so be sure to ask for it. The garlic parm wings were deliciously crispy too. The place lost a few stars for their "Buffalo chicken" fries, which were just not tasty, nor crispy and super soggy. Not worth it at all. They were also confused about giving me a drink, and despite ordering an Arnold Palmer on the phone with the combo, wouldn't have gotten it without double checking their order. I LOVE anything potatoes and in my opinion, french fries should be considered a food group. Mix french fries with my other love of buffalo chicken and you have The Buffalo Spot. The World Famous Buffalo Fries are the best. It's a big order of french fries loaded up with buffalo chicken bites and drizzled with their buffalo sauce. I personally like the "medium" sauce with my order. I've never had a bad order at this location, although the service is a bit lackluster and the facility a bit sketchy at times and not as clean as I think it should be. March 17, 2025 Just left at 6:28pm I ordered through the kiosk at 6:13pm which I didn't mind the issue was the male working who was heavy set server name: Frank R. giving my food to another customer & not even calling out my name or order number. He didn't even apologize that another customer touched my food order the only reason why I got the food was because that customer checked the bag & told him it wasn't his. Also he gave that same customer a shake that a different person ordered as well so it's not just my order. Training is needed it's upsetting when a random customer is touching your food in front of your face then taken back then given to you. What if that person had been sick? I should've had my order remade because of the worker's negligence & carelessness. He seemed to not even care at all that's why I am giving a 1 star today. Do better please! read more
