The chicken is made with hand-breaded tenders, and you can absolutely tell. Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The real review, though? Three out of my four kids said it's better than Cane's. If you knew our house - That statement alone should make you stop reading and start driving. In a world where a new chicken place seems to open every week, this one actually stands out. We really love their milkshakes but that's when we are actually able to get one. By this I mean that they act like they're closing when we come in an hour prior to their closing time, or that they just genuinely don't want to make a milkshake. A majority of the time the workers have been rude and act like they are doing us a favor by simply just doing their job. If you don't "feel like" making a milkshake or preparing food, then don't work at a food establishment. They have shut us down at least 3 times now. We go to order and are cut off immediately mid sentence, by them saying they won't be making our milkshakes. Ok I can possibly see why this locations reviews are subpar. 1. You have location it's squeezed in between higher end eateries and spas. 2. The boys working on Tuesdays never smiles he comes off as not wanting to be there at work they look robotic so management may want to work with them a little on customer service skills but by no means have they ever been rude. Pros: Despite the two very small hiccups that are easy fixes the dining area is always clean and kept up and the wings are good on those nights when a woman doesn't feel like cooking but you don't want to dress up and go out. Great food. Service has always been great. The place is clean. It's a family ran and operated business. The owner is a retired public servant who wanted something to do after retirement. Running a small family owned and operated business isn't easy, especially when your kids are working for you - good on him for teaching his kids to work though. Have gotten takeout twice from here and both times it was excellent. I love all of their different flavors and their Tuesday night $.79 boneless are awesome. I am particular love the lemon pepper. Wings were ok, but a tad dry. Not overcooked dry. Some people like them a bit drier and crispier so that may not be an issue. They were quite slow to get the wings out, more so than other wing places. Tea was absolutely terrible. Don't know what was in there but it was undrinkable. Restaurant is clean as were the bathrooms. They have milkshakes which are tasty but they had a little bit of ice-cream chunks in there. While I don't mind a few small chunks, they don't fit through the straw and they don't have spoons. It tasted like blue cheese and had decent chunks but I'm definitely a Wisconsin girl and love a good high quality so it could be better. The salad was yummy overall with its toppings, tomatoes, cucumbers and croutons. They have onions but I asked for them to be removed, thank you. The wings (5 mild & 5 lemon pepper) were good but I wasted a lot because the the skin was sooo soft. Texture of the chewiness grossed me out. I prefer crunchier outside and soft and juicy inside. They did the bare minimum. It was expensive so that's disappointing. The mild sauce was okay but I liked the lemon pepper one more. The chocolate shake was good. I'm dog sitting in the area but I can't say I'd drive all the way from Tempe to eat there again but place has potential! read more

I stopped at this spot after seeing a display in the window for "World Famous Buffalo Fries" and I can say sadly, they are not world famous in the slightess. If they did win an award, it was a very very long time ago. Decor: The decor is standard sit and takeout with seating, TV's and a large menu up front that was easy to read and dechiper. Nothing to scream about but I did like the fact you could see the kitchen in full from the front. Food: Sigh... for a chicken spot, you REALLY need to have amazing wings and fries if this is going to be your honey pot. We both ordered a small buffalo fry with different sauces. There was an extremely small amount of "chicken" on the fries. I say it with quotations but the "chicken" tasted rubbery and horrid. They pulled it out of a warming oven, so who knows how long it was sitting there. The wing sauce was equally terrible in that the "Original Hot" was legit Frank's Red Hot. You cannot take a pre-fabricated sauce and slap your label on it and call it good. That's not how it works. We also tried the garlic parm and I was equally dissatisfied. Service: So, on the day we went, it was mostly staffed with younger kids. They were chit chatting, high fiving each other with some gloves on and the other person off. Then touching food. No sense of urgency and the speed of service was extremely lack luster. Why the 2 stars then? I really want to try this place again, but I don't know if anything will change. When we got there there was no-one ahead of us. We ordered 10 tenders, 10 boneless and a regular Buffalo Fries then grabbed a seat. It took 18 minutes for our order to come out which was not a great start to our initial impression. Maybe the 4 parties that ordered after us slowed things down in the kitchen. I got Atomic Hot and Garlic Parmesan on my tenders. The first thing I noticed was that the tenders were moist, not dried out like nearly every restaurant I've had tenders at. The next was the good flavor of both my sauces. I'll definitely try them again, once I've tried the other ones. My companion got Honey BBQ and Teriyaki on the boneless wings. She also commented on how most they were. Both sauces were good with the Honey BBQ edging out the teriyaki. We got the Buffalo Fries with medium sauce to give us a taste of another sauce. The flavor was good but we found the fries to be limp, not crispy. Given we opened the container as soon as it got to the table and they were not swimming in sauce it's likely they were just not crispy to begin with. Overall the visit was a good one. None of the sauces ruined the meal and the chicken was moist and tender. We will have to see on our next visit if the long wait time in a quiet evening and limp fries were an anomaly or not. read more

Honestly I love Buffalo spot. I eat it on my bad days and my good days. the afternoon manager remembers my name and my order and he is the sunshine of my day. Anyway, I drive home listening to the sound track from Little Shop Of Horrors, and I sit down on my couch and turn on some TV and open my bag. To my absolute horror they forgot to put the special sauce in the bag. I am not being over dramatic when I say I started to cry. This broke my heart I am so sad right now. my boyfriend thinks I'm being ridiculous but I ate in silence as a tear rolled down my face. Decided to try it tonight, was hoping for a quick meal, took more than 20 minutes for our food to arrive. Once it did our fries weren't with it and we had to wait almost another 10 for those. Decided to try the breadsticks and ordered them but then a couple minutes later they told me they were out for the night and refunded my money. My 2 out of three of my kids didn't like the wings, my $5 side salad was tiny and certainly not worth $5. While we were finishing up an employee came over and gave us the breadsticks that they had been out of, I guess they just weren't defrosted so they gave us those as an inconvenience which was nice.
