Food is good can't deny that but way WAY over priced for what your getting. Two egg breakfast sandwiches a coffee and hash browns should never run a tab of $20. I would give this poor excuse for a restaurant zero stars but Yelp won't allow it-so where do I even begin? We waited two years for this location to open up and what a disaster it was. You would think that after two years of this place sitting empty they would have worked out the kinks! We have never really had a great experience at the old location at the corner but we figured maybe things had been upgraded- we were wrong. I realize this is not a 5star restaurant and and we aren't going to get 5 star service- but this was just ridiculous!First of all there is not one adult around that looks like a manager or a person of authority that looks like he/she might be in charge- everyone that works there is under the age of 25- with that being said let's go down the list- 1- The booth that they sat us at had a wobbly table-it did not sit flat on the floor and the top was wobbly as well-I took a look around and noticed all of the tables in the restaurant had some sort of paper or cardboard shoved underneath the legs apparently- all of the tables are wobbly- 2- water was served warm-no ice 3-we ordered the Buffalo tenders appetizer-it was basically frozen Tyson chicken fillets from BJ's that were fried and had hot sauce put on them- 4-I ordered a Bungalow burrito with steak- hold of the rice and please put the refried beans on the side-when the food came rice and beans were all inside the burrito- so I waited to find the waitress and I returned the Burrito-I would think that if someone's order was incorrect they would put a rush on it-but not here-I sat and watched my husband eat his entire entrée as I sat there and drank warm water as our table wobbled all over the place- 5- just as I was about to tell the waitress to bring my food to go-she came over to the table and asked me if she could offer me anything to drink- (what? More warm water??) I told her no and to just bring me my food to go-then another waitress came over and all she was worried about was lighting the stupid candle on my table- I snapped at her and told her that wasn't important right now- I was pretty aggravated at this point- also- please note no manager ever came to visit my table to apologize- 6-The busboy then comes over to clear my husband's plates and he knew the the table was wobbly- he shook his head and he said he would fix it tonight and I then pointed out to him that all of the tables look like they need to be fixed! 7- Then the waitress who was worried about lighting the candle on my table comes by and says "your wrap will be out in a few minutes" - funny!! I didn't order a wrap!! 8- Our waitress finally brought my to-go bag and said she would take it off the bill-thank god! 9- And last but not least- When I got home and opened up the Burrito there were no chips or salsa! People in LB have no idea what a decent restaurant is- so sad- read more

Located on the east side of Long Beach, NY this shack has sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads, quesadillas, burgers, and to top it all off they make amazing protein shakes. The new place is Great!!! Love the new decor. Some of the items on the menu should be removed. Its too big of a selection and its nearly impossible for any kitchen to be able to prefect in all the dishes. That would explain the mixed reviews. However the COFFEE is out of this world!! The Eggs, omelets, bacon, salsa n chips.... are excellent. We travel super far just to come here for breakfasts at times. The front of the house staff does rotate and are young but its always managed by the same guy so that's a plus. Total Gem if you are a breakfast fan. read more

I love the huge menu of this place with a lot of different items that you don't normally see. Good breakfast/brunch spot a little ways away from the chaos of the west end. I absolutely LOVE that they make most of their smoothies with Tofutti since I'm lactose intolerant. The service was fairly poor.. perhaps because it was packed but the delivery of our order was very prompt. I've been to this place really only for breakfast. I love their choices for breakfast wraps and omelets. They are affordable and quite tasty. Their smoothies are what I really come for. I love that they serve tofutti in their smoothies. I do enjoy the food and will have to come back and try something more along the lines of lunch or dinner to get a feel for their other offerings. I will say that my experience with their wait staff hasn't been the best but don't let that deter you from coming here. The first time I came they were busy and kind of forgot about my table, we were outside. The second time the waitress just didn't bring us everything right away. Not necessarily a bad thing, just had to remind her once. My boyfriend went here for dinner recently and apparently they didn't have a great experience. A salad came drenched in dressing and the waitress they had wasn't knowledgeable in what the place offered. A friend asked about the soups and she could only name two and when he asked for blue cheese for his burger she gave him blue cheese dressing - not the actual cheese crumbles and forgot his bacon. So it's a 50/50 chance on your experience. I've had good dealings and good meals with them. I recommend you go for breakfast or brunch for a first time experience and then try for other meals. Luv this place! I order delivery at least 2 times a week and they are super fast and food is always hot and delicious! Anything breakfast is awesome especially egg sammys n french toast. The mango smoothies too good! The Baja Shrimp wrap is my favorite! Sweet potato fries r perfect.....i could go on for days so im just gonna say that i would eat anything from this place! Informal but the murals and decorating give you a nice relaxed feeling when you sit down. I ordered a hamburger and the bf ordered a wrap. Both were really delicious. I made a special order of hamburger, portobello mushroom, guacamole and cheddar cheese...a party in my mouth! Only thing is the burger was a little more well then I like it but it didn't matter because the rest of the flavors were delicious. For a burger, it is a little pricey but it was worth it. Hold on to your credit card! I ordered from Bungalow on Saturday night. The food was delivered and everything was fine until I left my apartment Sunday at around 12:30pm. I left my apartment and in the hallway taped to the hallway wall was the receipt from my order complete with my address, apartment number, full credit card number and expiration date. After finding the receipt which was on display for anyone who wanted my credit card info I called Bungalow East to tell them. When I explained the situation to them the only thing they said was "I apologize". Not another word! I can not even understand why the delivery boy would be given this information. I order from them all the time and can only imagine how many times they have done absolutely nothing to protect my credit card information. I will never be ordering from Bungalow again. read more

Came here for lunch with a friend. My burger was excellent and the french fries were perfectly cooked well done as requested. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. It was fairly busy and I appreciated that they didn't rush us at all. They did a nice job with the new location having moved to the old Geri's spot. The place looks really nice, and it's much roomier than before though it is a bit dark. I'll definitely go back to try other things on the menu. read more

My friends seem to love this place but I have no idea why. First, my pea soup was obviously frozen and then microwaved because parts of it were freezing and other parts piping hot. Second, I ordered a burger with blue cheese crumbles and bacon. I know that a lot of places don't have blue cheese crumbles, so I specifically asked if they had them before ordering the burger. The waitress said that they did. The burger came with no cheese or bacon. I gave up on the bacon but reminded the waitress that I ordered blue cheese on the burger. She came back with two containers of liquidy blue cheese salad dressing. My girlfriend's salad was soggy, drenched with Caesar dressing. Our friend's "tropical" salad was bizarre - a bed of lettuce with red onions and fruit that had no business being in a salad on top. It came with a gloppy "vinaigrette." He ordered it to be adventurous but we all tried it and it was awful. The best part of the meal was the sweet potato fries which were mediocre at best. I hate writing bad reviews but this place really needs constructive criticism. read more

This is my very first yelp review I am doing. I use Yelp all the time but this is the first time I felt compelled to write a review. I live in Long Beach and was a really good customer of this place. I like the food. But I will never go back after today, unfortunately, because the owner/manager's attitude is so horrific. I have Celiac disease and am gluten free. He sold me home fries telling me they were gluten free - they were not. Ok, that's fine - I know I take chances while eating out. But I'm educated enough to see they weren't after I had already left with them. I called back saying I can't eat them and got a "credit" for the next time I go in. Normally, I'm the type of person to not even ask for the credit but I was next door and wanted a smoothie so I decided to use my "credit". As soon as I walked in and asked for the credit I was met with a horrible attitude from the owner. I still owed money for the smoothie and tried to use my card. He said it's a $15 limit and to use the ATM. So now I'd have to pay the $4 fee to take out money to pay him. All in all it was embarrassing and I shouldn't have even asked for the smoothie. I am in noooo way a cheap person and will pay any price for anything I want! But this is an issue of horrific customer service to a good paying customer! I will never go back here and I will advise my friends and family to do the same. Very unfortunate. read more

Easy going vibe. Great burgers, salad's, sandwiches and smoothies. They do breakfast lunch and dinner. And there always NICE.

Tough review, and here is why. First the pros: After a few hours of surfing, their Mediterranean Salad with chicken was awesome. Great Veggies, chicken was good, beans were cooked properly, nothing was over seasoned...really solid. Also, the coffee was really good, even at 7:45 at night. Cons: Service was "meh". I mean it was Friday night and they were definitely busy with outgoing orders, so things were busy. I did have to ask one of the waiters if I could place an order.....I'm sure if I would have just gone up to the bar and ordered things would have been better. Salad took some time to come out (they were busy), they forgot the chicken the first time (whoops), and I'm not sure if the avacado ever made it onto my salad (I was starved at this point, I did not care). I'd say the food was really good though, and service was "meh". If you are local in the area and can do take out, that may be your best bet. If you walk in and grab a table....don't be bashful about getting someone's attention or asking at the bar if you can place an order. I'll probably go back at some point and give them another try....the salad was that good. read more

We just left this place and had the worst customer service experience ever. Walked in and went to the register with my daughter and 2 friends to get some salads to go. Server after server walks by us and says nothing. Literally after 10 minutes I stop someone to place an order (4 salads to go). 15 minutes, 20 minutes, and finally 25 minutes in still no food. I go back to the register and still no greeting, no can I help you, simply being ignored. Finally managed to get someone to assist and they said, told the food had been ready????? I just don't get it. How about saying something? We spent an hour in this place trying to get 4 salads. No sense of urgency or customer service. We will not be back. read more

Cute decor. Friendly hostess (with braces). Ordered 2 "frozen" margaritas...not frozen at all, not even close to slushy- $11 each! We ordered a quesadilla, a panini and a side order of fries. Fries didn't come out with the dinner. Waiter said they would be out in '30 seconds'. Apparently he forgot to order them. We were almost done eating by the time the fries came out of the kitchen. I'm very unhappy with the service here. I've ordered from here about 10 times. They are too slow with deliveries and it always takes an hour or more to receive my food. On many occasions, they have forgotten part of the order. Today, I ordered a smoothie with my meal and they forgot it. After I called to tell them they had forgotten my smoothie, they took another 40 minutes to deliver the drink. They always forget to add condiments to the bag - no ketchup for fries, no utensils, etc. I normally love eating at local businesses, but I'm done eating here. read more
