Food is ok. But customer service is horrible. Had it delivered twice. Forgot something both times. When I called back they told me French fries weren't included with kids meal( I ordered 5 kids meals) and I have to call west side because that's where you ordered from. So to my stupidity I called back the west side and they also told me they weren't included. I told them on the menu it said they were included. They told me to call back next week when the manager was in. Next time I ordered they forgot a whole meal( that charged me for it) they tried to say we didn't order it . Thankfully I had receipt. Once that saw their mistake they said they will send out another meal but that they are really busy and that it will take about an hour to send it out. Never again. Sadly,the place that was once a staple for me several years ago when I moved here has gone down hill tremendously. I have not had a positive experience in a very very long time. First the food quality has dropped, staff is appalling and not competent. When placing an order for delivery not only had I had to repeat my order literally five times and correct her each time, my order arrived and it was still incorrect. Secondly, when I asked for the total, I was told that it was several dollars more then when the food was delivered and I didn't notice until after the delivery guy had left. When speaking with the manager, he showed no concern, basically didn't seem to care and didn't offer anything in return. I should have got my money back, and something free or on the house next time. I will not recommend this place to my family or friends. I never wrote a review before and never would but bc I believe a business should learn and grow that this just really put me over the edge that I felt I needed to share this with everyone. Very stingy on the Steak/Chicken/Shrimp in their wraps and panini's ... So Anything that costs them money you're not getting a lot of. They have all these other ingredients that they fill your wrap or panini up and then sprinkle on a little of the Steak/Chicken/Shrimp etc... This has happened to me almost every time I've ordered those types of sandwiches. I guess it can be called insanity since I keep ordering expecting a different result. But living in the east end of LB your delivery options for that type of food is limited, especially after the storm. If you're going to charge $10-$13 for a wrap or panini then make sure you're not being cheap with the ingredients that I really order a sandwich for. DON'T BE STINGY you make enough money with those prices. read more

I ordered from The Bungalow for the first time. I asked that it be delivered. It took over an hour and I only live a few blocks away. The food was cold and one of the orders were wrong. I had called several times to see where my order was and they kept telling me it was on the way. I will never order from them again. read more

The new location in the West End of Long Beach is a complete disaster. I have been there twice now. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. Staff was rude both times. Food takes forever to arrive. Cashier has paid the wrong change out. Hopefully it gets better but for right now, its just chaos. read more

I'll start by saying I've had many great meals and experiences at the former location (few stores down). I recently ordered a pick up order from the new Bungalow and I showed up after the 15 minute wait time. I was pleasantly greeted by the hostess who directed me to the bar to pick up and pay for my food. After being told "one minute" by the bartender, I waited for another ten minutes or so before a waitress asked what the name was for the order. I could see there was pick up order on the back of the bar, but didn't want to assume it was my order. After another ten minutes, the lovely hostess retrieved the bag from the back of the bar (which was my order) and proceeded to tell me I needed to cash out with the bartender. After refilling both the salt and sugar containers, he was still not interested in cashing out my order. After twenty five minutes of waiting aimlessly at the bar, I handed the hostess my money and had to leave. Both service and food were substantially better at the former location. Went here for lunch with my girlfriend. I would highly recommend this place, the food was fantastic. All the ingredients were fresh and high quality. I had the chicken pesto wrap and she had the bbq chicken wrap, both were excellent. I will definitely be coming back here, it is a great place to get something healthy and tasty. read more

I enjoy this place because it is close to my house, and the food is good. The delivery experience leaves much to be desired. The woman taking orders was one of the worst I have experienced in any take out situation. She hung up on me and was very curt about everything, from my address, to what I wanted, to how to pay. This place continues to disappoint. Went for breakfast and my fiancé's home fries were cold and the cheese in his omelette wasn't even close to being melted. I ordered a breakfast wrap and the cheese was not melted either. The service here continues to be horrible! After you order, forget about getting any service after that! And the place wasn't busy so not sure why no one checks in on you to see how the food is (probably cause they realize they rushed the food). The terrible service never changes which indicates to me horrible management. Also, the new bungalow has yet to open probably over a year after they announced they were moving and expanding so that is either again bad management or an issue with the landlords (but I'm guessing management from my experiences there). read more

The Bungalow is located near Lido Beach. It is not too large but its nicely decorated inside with a bamboo theme. It is probably a better choice to come here for lunch because its mostly salads, sandwiches, and wraps but I'm sure it is fine for dinner also. Friendly servers and decently sized portions. Overall, I probably wouldn't come all the way to Long Beach to eat here but if I happen to be around the area then I would come back. read more

We had to wait almost a half hour for two egg sandwiches. This was our second time there in about a week and both times the wait was agonizingly long. On top of that, we asked for well-done bacon and it came out still oinking. Our first time there was much better, the owner was there, very friendly and seemed to run a tight ship. On our next visit, he was not there and everybody seemed like they were scrambling, pardon the breakfast pun. Maybe next time we'll just get a smoothie they looked pretty good and came out very quickly. Great beachy little wrap shop. We probably order delivery from Bungalow East two nights out of the week. They're quick and accurate every time. Their smothered steak Panini is my favorite, and my boyfriend's fav is the Mexican Caesar wrap. Their breakfast wraps and paninis are great too. Great place to stop after the beach or surfing, and big bonus is delivery directly to the beach in summer. read more

This is a great place I look for comfort food and I don't even have to leave my house. I love the burgers and paninis. My favorite is Portobelo Mushroom panini. Let me start by saying, we sat there for 22 minutes before the waiter even asked us what we wanted to drink! Actually, he never asked us! I asked him if we could get something to drink! Then he brought coffee, but there was no more sugar on the table, no milk or cream, and didn't bring a spoon. Obviously there was no silverware on the table! It took 35 minutes to get our food from the time we ordered. When the food arrived, the pancakes were cold, with I sent back, and ordered something else. I am sure you can guess by now that he left the pancakes on the bill. It only took 12 minutes for him to bring the check though!!! Didn't ask once if we needed anything, how the food was, do you want more coffee, water, etc. The food was pretty decent when the replacement meal was brought, but the service was beyond horrible! By far the worst waiter that I have ever had at any restaurant I have ever been to!! I wish the service was good, because the food is good, but not worth the hassle! It's a shame! Also, the manager was just as bad as the waiter! Rude, rude, rude!!!!!
