Loved the fries, especially since they have a shaker of cajun seasonings in the table...that little kick is how I like my fries. I thought it was a little pricy for burgers...$27 for me and my two kids, but we did get the extra side order of fried bacon, and I had leftovers, so it seems like a great place to eat. We ordered food to go. I called in our order, the line was busy the first few times. Finally, someone answered and took my order. She was very nice, repeated my order and my husband went to pick it up. He said the place was packed, and the staff was very nice. I ordered the number one, which was a cheeseburger. The burgers are huge, and it looked good but one side of the bun felt frozen. It had been toasted but it was cold. I had to scrape off the mound of mayo. It was loaded with lettuce, tomato, and onion, and the cheddar they used was very good, however, the amount of mayo ruined it for me, and the fact that the one side of the bun was ice cold. My husband liked the wings he got. The fried green beans were excellent, and our daughter-in-law liked the BLT she got. But since this is based on my food, I have to give it 2 stars. I would be willing to give this place a second chance but would eat in, and order my burger dry. read more

Went not long after it opened. Gave it a few years. Went back. Nice people, clean place, nothing to complain about on service, but look at the jalapeno cheeseburger photo. Cold, un-melted cheese. Patty is bland. Huge hunk of lettuce heart. I'd love for it to be a better option because I love eating at our local hometown places, but maybe at least season the patty with salt and pepper, don't put giant chunks of earthy lettuce heart on it and then make sure to put the cheese on the patty while it's on the grill so it actually melts. I had the "ooh spicy" with a jalapeño ranch sauce made in house. The party, was juicy, and fresh. With hint of seasoning, so you know they make their own party here. Bread was toasted and soft all the way through. Lettuce and pickles were fresh and crisp. The fries were good, although I expected great because of how great the burger was!! All in all, I haven't had a burger that good in years!! The burger barn is doing something different. Their selections are unique, their options are intriguing. The chipotle mushroom burger - 4 out of 5, chipotle mayo really couldnt taste it, but the puple onions pepper jack cheese and everything else stood out. Fries most of them were nice and crispy. Size of meat is nice...I know I know, that's what SHE said...but for real, it is good. No tiny patty. Not a small burger at all. There is sweet and unsweetened tea as well as several soft drinks to choose from. The lemonade is kept behind the register so you have to ask for it. The barn catches your attention as it is Red and trimmed in white. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is casual. The line was long, but it moved very fast. Long lines mean good food. If people are willing to wait that speaks volumes. The restaurant is currently offering a Groupon that has to be used 2 separate days; however, you save $10. If you are only stopping in, it may not be worth it. There are several TV's playing different shows and music for those who like to listen to melodies while they eat. This is right up there with the worst experience I have had in restaurant in 20 years! The bathroom was disgusting, the restaurant floor was covered in trash. It was 30 minutes before closing when I received my meal. The girl rolled the smelly mop bucket up about 4 feet from my table and walked away, ruining the flavor of my meal. I was doing work on my table for the H Harvey recovery and they just turned the lights off(!) Without warning. I asked them to switch on the light so I could gather my stuff and the girl said they were closed, get out, unbelievable. If they would have said "hey we're ready to go" I would have packed up my stuff without incident. They yelled at me, expected to know which doors were unlocked even though the sign says "must remain unlocked" and threatened to call the police. What is up with the service at this place? I watched one girl walking around with a friendliness about her, but she was the only one. Everyone else was rude, not helpful, and just blah. How hard is it to throw a piece of lettuce and tomato on a burger? AT A BURGER PLACE?! I would have happily paid a little extra but even that wasn't an option. As far as the food goes - burger meat is good but we literally had maybe 3 2-inch slivers of onion, a tomato the size of a silver dollar, and 2 pickles on our burgers. Onion rings are great. The food is great and I love to linger. I am a frequent visitor. I like their beef brisket Barbecue sandwiches. The only complaints I have are that the men's room is not well ventilated and it ALWAYS smells like raw sewage. The sewage smell is coming from the sewer drain in the floor or=f the bathroom. You should use bleach or something to kill the odor causing bacteria, Additionally, the toilet does not flush well either. They need to get a high flow, commercial toilet because you have to sit there and flush it two or three times to get anything at all to go down. If not for the bathroom issues I would give you five stars. Please fix the sewage issue and the toilet. Also, it might be a good idea to make more space in the bathroom for two or more stalls. One toilet is not enough for the men's room or the women's room for a restaurant. read more

I live extremely close to this place and folks it is really delicious!! If you are a fan of giant baked potatoes, loaded with all your favorites, you MUST order one of these meal sized potatoes!! Beware though, there is a cashier/ order taker up front that is extremely rude and will not even look you in the eye as your placing an order. Also, if you order is to go, you should check your order , in the bag, for things like extra sides of sauce like the Homemade Ranch dressing that costs extra. It seems like this one side has a hard time finding " it's way into your bag". When you pay extra for a side sauce you should always check to make sure you have the quantity you PAID!!! This place is really cool and you will appreciate the decor and signs that are posted to make you laugh!! . Everything is made to order.
