Mcalisters King Club made by a mentally deficient employee

I ordered a King Club, a southwest Chicken salad, and a spudmax.. we didnt recieve the spud, the salad was just thrown together sloppily with no dressing in the bag or on the salad. The King Club looked like someone picked out the most disgusting ingredients, threw them together on untoasted, soggy bread that they smashed their mustard sauce into so hard that it made the middle of the bread paper thin and full of holes, and then it looks like they took their hand and smashed down the top of the sandwich with enough force to smash it and make the whole sandwich soggy and disgusting. The bread in the middle looks as if it had been fished out of the sink after soaking in dishwater all day. Whoever made this needs to be terminated and they need to pay me 60 dollars out of their check. This is without any doubt the absolute worst food order I have ever recieved and I will NEVER spend any money at this restaurant again for as long as I live. Whoever did this is a disgusting human being and probably doesn't need to be working at a restaurant. Just makes you wonder... how often do the employees of the McAllister's in Franklin, IN spit in people's food just because they can. If they can get away with passing off an order like this to a customer who paid nearly 60 dollars for their food then it wouldn't be hard to assume that the rocket scientists who work at this restaurant would spit in random people's food for fun. Absolutely disgusting. go do manual labor or something because obviously you're not competent or mentally qualified to work in fast food.

Sample of dirty tables.

Stupid, incompetent people work here. They don't care about anything except getting off of work. Orders are constantly made wrong.

Tasted like Jimmy John's should. Delicious…read more The building used to be a Donato's, and there's a little more space inside than your average JJ's. Staff was friendly. It was noisy, but it was also lunch time and its first week of business. Franklin needed a JJ's, I know I'm happy.

I placed a scheduled pick up order through DoorDash as I have multiple other times. I pulled up to the drive-thru window and was told that I need to come in for my order. I proceeded to park my car and come in even though this was a major inconvenience for me. I am a nurse and typically work 3 to 4 12 hour shifts a week and I'm just trying to get something to eat real quick before heading to work. After being handed my food, I attempted to ask the woman who handed me my order if this was something new and she gave me a yeah, and turned around and did not even proceed to converse with me. It was rude and disappointing. I don't really understand the difference of being handed a bag of food through the window versus coming in to the establishment. The inconvenience was one thing, but not even being able to voice. My frustration is really what irked me. I understand being busy (even though there was no one in the establishment and only one person in the drive-thru), but not having the decency to be able to talk to a customer. It's just straight up rude.

The dining room is more open than their older establishments. The dessert and pastries selections seemed less here than other locations but then a lot of places are opting for cookies more because they probably have a longer shelf life. I went with the Pick 2 after I spotted a new hot sandwich called the Ciabatta Cheesesteak. The sandwich consisted of steak, provolone, garlic aioli, caramelized onions, and peppadew peppers on a ciabatta. The sandwich was good however it was a tad soggy on the bottom from too much of something. I also got a cup of their Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup which I've had many times before and I like it. The restroom was clean and stocked. Parking was plentiful right in front of their front door.

I ordered a grilled cheese along with a sugar pie slice and a London fog. They have other baked good options which looked good too. The grilled cheese was very small and I think cheese got into the pan because it was also cooked onto the bottom side of the sandwich. It was a very small grilled cheese. The London fog tasted quite strong and the sugar pie didn't really stand out. There were other items on the menu though that I'd love to try if I ever go back. What I think took this down to 3 stars was the service. When I went to order, I was just stared at and I thought maybe they weren't ready for me yet but they were. There was just no greeting of "Hi, welcome in" or even a "What can I get for you?" It was just a stare and silence. Now the staff were not unkind...they certainly seemed friendly but that lack of greeting didn't feel great. Additionally, they were very quiet or mumbled when calling out orders and so it seemed like many people listening never heard their order including me. I also had to ask again for the pie after having paid. I bought a bandana as well and didn't see the price tag. When I asked how much it was the staff member said it was either 12 or 15 dollars. She rang it up as 15 when later I saw the price tag and it clearly said $12. I showed the staff member and she said it was $15 and it was a handwriting issue for the price tag. I rarely write reviews less than five stars but I do think if there could be a bit more initiative from the staff and orders called out more clearly and louder for drinks so they don't spoil that would really help.
