Since I am a salad person, I absolutely love their carne asada salad and gyro salad. Both come with plenty of protein and lots of veggies. The quality is far better than many sit down restaurants. We arrived at Galaxy Burger at 8:38pm expecting to have to order to go. However, to our surprise, Blanca was welcoming and encouraged us to settle in and eat in house. Jesus was the cook and made everything as ordered. We have a few particular eaters in our family and all special requests were granted. We arrived about 15 minutes before closing, and the cashier, Blanca, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She still offered us the option to dine in and encouraged us to take our time, even though they were close to closing. That really stood out. I ordered the double cheeseburger with fries, and my girlfriend had the club sandwich. My burger was packed with flavor seriously delicious and their house dressing was a great touch. My girlfriend loved her sandwich too. She rarely finishes her meals, but this time she ate the whole thing, which says a lot. Blanca kept checking in on us to make sure everything was good and reassured us that we didn't need to rush, even while they were cleaning up. Her attitude and the way she treated us made the experience even better. I definitely recommend this place, great food, excellent service, and very clean (even the men's restroom). They wanted a review, here it is. No warning whatsoever that they charge a "convenience fee" of $0.99 to use a credit card or tap. They say table service for handicapped, but did not offer even though they saw I was on crutches. I had to carry my drink myself, moving from table to table. read more

FOOD: the food was good. I especially liked the beans. They keep them whole and you can tell they've cooked all day. The large order of beans is enough to feed a family of four for dinner as a side. I asked for mine with raw onions and cheese. They did not skimp. I got a bacon cheeseburger for my son and we had chili cheese fries. The fries were delicious. Well prepared and nice ratios. My son enjoyed the burger. SERVICE: service is exceptional. I ordered at the counter to take the food to go and my son decided to come in and eat. This place as some of the best burgers in town. It's not very common that you actually get that charred taste that really makes them tasty, this place delivers. Portion is solid for sharing and overall a solid burrito, though I'm not a fan of ham so I'd skip that next time. Our friend tried a pastrami quesadilla and thought it tasted ok, he said he wouldn't get it again. Just an interesting combo. As for the burgers, my friend likes their burgers. It's a solid burger. I love their pastrami me and my man go once a week for one, however, today it was terrible ,fatty tough could not believe it. When I asked one of the girls if they changed their pastrami cut, she said no I told her that we love coming there for it and today it was terrible and they know it's at the counter when we walk in.
