I've always heard great things about Boba Guys, and to be honest when I first had it...I was not particularly blown away. Idk, I didn't hate it but it wasn't anything to write home about. I just didn't see the appeal, especially when they had limited locations and I had to drive all the way downtown just to get it. BUT THINGS CHANGED WHEN THEY OPENED UP IN MY NECK OF THE WOODS. While the location itself is a bit random, it is a lot closer to home and even closer to my work. The store is situated in a nice area and with easy (and free!) parking. It's a breeze to get to and all in all, I could probably drive there, order, and come back quicker than if I just drove to their other locations. Talk about convenience, amirite. Only downside about the location is that the place is pretty darn small, with only about 2-3 counter seats inside. This could be problematic if/when this place ever gets popular but for now I suppose it's okay. The drinks are a little on the pricier side but I think it's worth it, as long as you don't go every single day. Only reason that I'm giving this place 4 stars is because of their limited hours! It's no use that it's so close to home if it's never open when I want to go! As far as I know, the hours are only 11am-4pm Monday thru Friday. Delicious delicious! I wish they were open on the weekends. Hopefully soon. They're working on staying open later then thinking of opening on the weekends. This location is a testing location- but still makes all their yummy stuff. Thai iced tea is the best I've had. They make it a different way and it's delicious! My favorite is the strawberry matcha with boba and jelly. Absolutely amazing and I crave it all the time!! You have to try it out if you're in the area- even if you're not - it's worth it! read more

I did love coming here when I got a chance, but that changed 2 weeks ago. I placed an order online with no problem, however when I got to the location the place was closed! This was on a Saturday at 11:30am, which falls within their business hours. There seemed to be maintance going on inside, but there was no sign on the door so I had to ask the maintenance workers if the facility was closed for the day. So that was frustrating, but I thought ok it happens. I emailed support asking for a refund and explained what happened, they said they would issue a refund. A week went by and I still hadn't received anything so I sent another email, they said they made a mistake and forgot to process it. It's now been 2 weeks and nothing. I ordered about 20 drinks for my coworkers. The quality of the drinks are not bad IMO. I am dinging them on these things: 1. I expressed concerns about spilling drinks in my car, but the cashier claimed that they don't have any cardboard boxes for me to store the drinks in. I saw boxes behind the man. The man insisted I buy their plastic bags with the cartons. I reluctantly and bitterly did that. I suggest they have some cardboard boxes available. That is such an easy fix. 2. They shorthanded me one drink. 3. They mixed two drinks up. The large was small and the small was large. The one that was suppose to have 25% sugar had 75% sugar, and the one that was suppose to have 75% sugar had 25% sugar. 4. I called them back, and they did not answer or reply to my voice message. 5. The cashier did not give me a receipt for my order. This place is not ready to handle large orders. I would only recommend this place if you only need to order 1-2 things. read more

I work within a 2 minute drive from The Burrow and I'm not complaining. Theres always parking and never too long of a line. I don't really like fancy drinks, just a simple milk tea is fine. The first time I got a drink, it felt like drinking a cup of sugar and I gave up this place for awhile. But I went back and got my drink with 50% sugar - way, way, way better. I've lived in Brisbane for years and it's a shame that other local businesses here don't have this standard! Both in pricing, cleanliness & SERVICE!! The Pros: The service here is great. The staff is chill - yet super friendly. They are a bunch of YA (my age) but still run this bubble tea ship like seasoned pros. I rarely have to wait long, til my order is ready. When it is ready, it's always served with a smile & "have a good day!" The Hardly Cons: This is something that I run into at most places. I can't have dairy and I just wish there were more non-dairy snack options. The petite snack bar they do have looks delicious! This is my absolute go to for boba. This place has everything that boba guys but way better since there's always free parking available on the surrounding streets and no waiting in long lines! My boyfriend and I come here whenever we need a boba fix. Every time we come every employee is always so nice and inviting! Our go to drinks would be the strawberry matcha with boba or jasmine milk tea with almond jelly! The boba is always cooked just right at this place, just the right amount of chewiness! It's wonderful to finally have good boba so close to home! I ordered the Hong Kong Style Milk Tea + boba. The drink was a little on the sweeter side; I already asked for 50% sweetness, but next time I'll probably ask for even less sweet. Boba was nice and chewy. I usually crave Boba Guys on a Monday which sucks since all the SF Boba Guys locations are closed. I remembered that they opened this one in Brisbane. I was expecting it to be closed since the other locations are, but nope they are open on Monday's. The only thing is the hours at this location are limited to 10am-4pm, I believe. Normally when I go to a new boba place, I usually play it safe & get a regular milk tea with boba. But since I have faith in Boba Guys, I ordered a strawberry matcha with boba. Tasted pretty good, sometimes its a little too sweet, but the guy made it just right! They were also kind enough to give me a 24oz water for my dog =) read more

The staff is super friendly at this location, and have asked to make sure my drink is to my liking every time. With the price of my love now at $7.89 each + tip, I would expect consistent quality, but lately the boba is either undercooked or just old, sadly I think it's the latter, it's hard as rock and bad for the digestive health...I let this slide before but it's so off-putting.. Really nice clean little boba place right on the Main Street of Brisbane. If you blink while driving down the street you would probably miss it! Boba for me from here is a 10/10 no random hard/chewier pieces that's I've had from other places. They also are true to their sweetness levels and 50% is just right for their milk teas. Also love that their straws are bamboo and compostable...uhm yes! Some cons: 1. Only fruit mix in the menu is strawberry. Unfortunately I'm allergic and would love more fruity options 2. Only open limited hours and no weekends, as someone who lives in Brisbane I would love to see it open even short hours on Saturday Other than that it is a fantastic boba place! I came here on a Friday at around closing time and the guy was more than happy to serve us. I've only been to Boba Guys in the city like 3 times so I don't remember what the original menu is like. I always get their Jasmine Milk Tea so that was all that mattered to me. I'm pretty sure the menu was the same but I could be wrong. I ordered and the guy who took my order also made the drinks. I thought my drink was almost perfect. I felt like it was a little milkier than normal and slightly watered down. The almond jelly was perfect! The Lychee green milk tea that my boyfriend got, tasted really weird and I didn't like that. This review is mainly thumbs up for the Jasmine Milk tea! The girl working there told me that it's Boba Guys' processing facility, just with a different name. Sweet! Definitely not complaining about more Boba Guys. I got the Hong Kong style milk tea, 50% sweetened with almond jelly and boba. Boba Guys drinks tend to be on the sweeter end, so it's safer to start with a low sweetness level and then tritate it up as needed. 50% sweetness was just perfect for me. My first time trying their almond jelly was at this location and it's to die for. I loved loved loved it and inhaled my drink in essentially 0.5 seconds. They make their almond jelly fresh!! If you like almond flavoring, it definitely beats regular grass jelly. Their boba, as always, was perfectly chewy as well. Will def be back since it's easier to find parking at this location compared to their other locations in the city. read more

My new go-to boba spot! Living in SF's Visitacion Valley, this is probably the closest boba place (~5 min drive). There's always parking in front or around the area. I'm glad not too many people know about this spot I've had the classic milk tea at least 3x and it hasn't disappointed yet! I have a sweet tooth and 100% is perfect. I've had it with and without boba, and my sweet tooth prefers the drink with boba. Also tried the Strawberry Fresca tea; it's good, but a little watered down for my taste.
