My friend wanted Boba guys so we found this location in Brisbane. It's in a cute little area with a nearby skate park, playground, and a small street of restuarants. We parked right in front of this location and ordered immediately. There were no line at the time we entered. The menu seemed a bit smaller than a real Boba guys. They named this place The Burrow with a sign outside saying they proudly serve Boba guys. I ordered the iced matcha latte - soo good. Light ice, and 50% sugar. In all honesty - 50% was still on the sweet side. They have 3 layers and you mix it yourself. The stevia like sweetner stayed at the bottom of my drink and I had a bit of a hard time mixing it in. The drink was $4.25. I didn't add a topping but a topping is 50cents extra. They have multiple sizes - 16 oz and 24 oz. Overall cute cafe. There are limited seating inside, and they do serve 2 types of toast. The have kaya available which I will try one day. read more

Boba guys happens to be my favorite boba spot in San Francisco. The burrow happens to be their receiving depot where they package and move their supplies to the stores in San Francisco. This also happens to be one of their only spots outside of San Francisco, although only about 15 minutes south of downtown. The place is similar to all boba guys and they serve all the specials in terms of drinks and teas. While they may not have food or soft serve like the Fillmore location, they do offer all teas and will make every drink identical to each spot. The only downside of the location is their closing time of 4pm. This spot is great for boba lovers in South San Francisco and Vis Valley Residents of SF but given the open times, it may not be easy for most to reach here. There is ample parking around, especially during the afternoon times. This place will be packed during the summer months considering it is a little warmer in Brisbane and has parks and pools nearby. I do hope they extend their hours however. nothing beats a good boba drink after work! read more

My go-to place if you're working in the South SF area and are going on a midday boba run! Highly prefer over Quicklys if you like quality milk tea. Despite the name (the mascot of Boba Guys is the anteater, so of course it makes sense that the Burrow is their center of operations, right??), the drinks aren't any different than what you would find at Boba Guys. The only downside here is that their drink section is limited to the basics and there's only one bench along the window. Most Boba Guys locations in SF don't have seating, but since the Burrow is in such a suburban area, you'd expect there to be room for at least one table, right? I definitely recommend sizing up for your money's worth and sticking to the classic milk teas. Was not a huge fan of the horchata, as it was too sweet and didn't taste quite right with boba added. I've definitely had better versions of this cinnamon rice at many Mexican restaurants. The hours here are short so make sure they're open before you stop by! There's street parking on weekdays and it's always free, which is always a plus. The surrounding area gives off the quaint, old-town feel and is honestly a nice break from the busy city. read more

Wayyyyyy overhyped!! Finally had a chance to try boba guys and I have to say, it was very disappointing. Since it's my first time here, I opted to try the classic milk tea just to gage the place. Easy to find parking, fast service, and doesn't get that crowded. In SF, you could be waiting to order for 45 minutes (that's what happened to me). Here, you're in and out in 10 minutes. But, if you're able to make it here during that time, you can avoid the ridiculously long Boba Guys lines and get your Iced Matcha Latte deliciousness within 5 mins. This is my go-to spot in the Bay when I'm craving Boba Guys. I always avoid the other store locations because, I hate waiting in those lines. The service here is quick and equally friendly. Since my first time, I've come probably another 20+ times afterwards. I understand this is not exactly like Boba Guys since it carries only half the selection as the original, but it will do. I can't complain when it's only a 2 min drive from work and there's barely a line :) I usually get either the Jasmine Milk Tea or the Matcha Milk Tea. Depending on my craving I'll either stay at 100% or reduce it to 75%. They tend to be on the sweeter end, so definitely do adjust if necessary. I ALWAYS get their boba. It's always been consistent and they give you quite a ball-full. It wasn't until Burrows since I've had Strauss milk. Truthfully, I didn't care for organic milk because milk is milk. But NO, Strauss changed my life. It is quality you can taste. I appreciate how their milk tea uses Strauss milk because it's that much creamier. I've written a review before, but this place deserves another one. I do hope that eventually they expand their menu and hours (currently until 4pm). I'd love to snatch one after work to make my commute home more pleasant. read more

I'm honestly really disappointed I didn't know about this place sooner! It about 8 minutes from my work in SSF and is the perfect place to stop in with coworkers for some boba. I've been looking for a good spot to get boba near work and most of the ones in ssf are not anything to get excited about and return to. The quality here is consistent with that of the boba guys locations in the city. The best part about this place is that it's still relatively a secret, (which made me a little apprehensive about writing this review) meaning no long lines like the downtown locations either! This place is such a game changer. When I found out from a friend that this place serves Boba Guys I nearly screamed with joy. The closest Boba Guys is a pretty decent drive out to the city, so having somewhere that serves it that was closer to home was such a gem. Boba Guys milk teas are one of my absolute favorites around. They definitely are quality drinks and the boba is always the perfect consistency. One thing I absolutely love about this location is that there is always an abundance of parking. One thing I absolutely hate is their limited hours. I really wish they were open on the weekends because that's typically when I'm able to make the trek out there. So sadly if I want to make it before they close at 4, I have to rush out of work to make it. Overall, I feel like their drinks are the same as any other Boba Guys location. I usually get a matcha latte or horchata and I haven't been able to tell any difference in taste. Will for sure continue to come here when I can! read more

I've pretty much had every drink here as I work about 30 seconds away. They are all great! But I suggest getting 25 or 50 percent sweetness instead of 100 because it is SWEEEET! I don't have a huge sweet-tooth so that's how I usually order. My favorite drink at the moment is the strawberry matcha latte with almond milk. It's nice because the strawberry sweetens the drink naturally. The regular milk tea is also really good (again, with reduced sweetness). In the summer the Fresca drinks are also really refreshing! Food wise, the Hong Kong toast is THE BEST. Really thick brioche toast with something similar to condensed milk whipped cream and a drizzle of honey. I could eat that everyday. The only minuses to this place are the size, service and hours. There are probably 3 seats in the location and the service is semi-slow as there is only one person usually working. They are only open until 4 on weekdays and NOT open on weekends *cries* read more

This is me and my boyfriend's go-to milk tea place whenever I come up to the city to visit. It's boba guys without the long wait!! Street parking is free and there are always spots available. I really like the strawberry drinks here. I've tried the strawberry Fresca and strawberry matcha latte which are oh so yummy. The Hong Kong milk tea and jasmine milk tea are also great choices. I tried the coffee milk tea but it was a bit too milky for my liking. The downsides are that the hours of this place is only from 11-4pm on weekdays. You also are limited to the main menu instead of the seasonal specialty drinks that they have at the Boba Guys locations in SF. There isn't much seating; it's more of a grab and go place. Maaan, this drink was insanely good! and the service was great! Rgee and Robyn were very helpful! I couldn't decide what drink to get and they recommended the Banana Milk and it's an absolute hit. After years of hearing people talk about Boba Guys, I decided it was finally time to check it out for the first time to see what all the hype was about! For those who don't know, there is actually a Boba Guys in downtown San Francisco which is probably their most popular location. I never tried Boba Guys after all these years because their lines were was always too long for me. In most cases, boba spots will experience long lines within the first couple of weeks being newly opened, then the long lines start to die down eventually. However, with Boba Guys it's a different story. Boba Guys' lines today continue to be very long!!! Many people people seem to enjoy their drinks. This specific location was quite the surprise as I was only in the area to run some quick errands. The line there was surpassingly not as long! I ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and it was very refreshing. I definitely would come by a second time to try more drinks on their menu! read more

I would consider the Burrow a hidden gem for Bubble tea in SF Bay Area. I feel like not many people know about this boba spot and serving boba guys boba. When I think about boba guys, I would think about boba in the downtown SF. Not too many people know that The Burrow serve boba guys. I highly recommend coming here to check out the drinks or if you don't want to drive all the way in sf for boba guys. One thing though they are open during business hours. M-F 11-4. So if you are off on a weekday during those times, this would be a great opportunity to check this place out. I've always heard great things about Boba Guys, and to be honest when I first had it...I was not particularly blown away. Idk, I didn't hate it but it wasn't anything to write home about. I just didn't see the appeal, especially when they had limited locations and I had to drive all the way downtown just to get it. BUT THINGS CHANGED WHEN THEY OPENED UP IN MY NECK OF THE WOODS. While the location itself is a bit random, it is a lot closer to home and even closer to my work. The store is situated in a nice area and with easy (and free!) parking. It's a breeze to get to and all in all, I could probably drive there, order, and come back quicker than if I just drove to their other locations. Talk about convenience, amirite. Only downside about the location is that the place is pretty darn small, with only about 2-3 counter seats inside. This could be problematic if/when this place ever gets popular but for now I suppose it's okay. The drinks are a little on the pricier side but I think it's worth it, as long as you don't go every single day. Only reason that I'm giving this place 4 stars is because of their limited hours! It's no use that it's so close to home if it's never open when I want to go! As far as I know, the hours are only 11am-4pm Monday thru Friday. The only time I ever even got to try it was when I left work early because I was sick... -__- Hoping for some extended hours in the near future because I really want to go back soon! read more
