So glad to have the official Boba Guys close to home. I was happy they accept their gift cards too. High quality drinks. Friendly staff. Free parking in front. Nearby park. Quiet neighborhood. Zero complaints!

We love The Burrow!! Been to this location multiple times. Parking is fairly easy. I wanted to write a review just to say you need to check out their seasonal menu!!! My partner's favorite is Mango Sago, so I asked if they have something similar to that, and the guy recommended Mango Fields, which is amazing and even better than Mango Sago. I usually get Lychee Oolong, which is also amazing. Also sign up for the Boba Guys rewards program to get cool rewards like a free topping!

Took out all the ice, this was what was left

I placed an order online for pickup and ordered the horchata with boba. I took a sip of my drink when I was already in my car and drove off realizing how watered down my drink was. It had absolutely no flavor, basically like water and a hint of cinnamon. When I got home which was not that far, I took out all the ice and saw that I was left with only half a cup of liquid and some boba. You're telling me I ordered half a cup of ice?! There was also no less ice or no ice option. After taking out all the ice i took a few more sips. Boba was rock hard I had to spit it out and a lot of them were in clusters. Horchata was still watery. Taking out all the ice didn't help. I used to come here often and order the same drink but never had this issue. there are so many other places down in SSF, Burlingame and millbrae for better quality drinks and boba

My order took WAY less than a minutes to be ready!! I got the brown sugar hojicha, and it was super good! It's a pretty small spot, but the staff are friendly and the service is sosososo fast!

Wish we had these in San Diego:(

The nicest people work here, especially the gentleman with the best service, the most positive attitude and the kindest heart in the business! Bonus...I only come in once a year (because sadly, I don't live here anymore), but that doesn't stop this guy from remembering my order down to the detail! He is definitely an asset to the company! Lol...did I mention that they have the best drinks and I drove up from San Diego and headed straight here first, to make sure I got my fix before they closed!

I did realize this was a boba guys. It was a nice cause it's in a convenient location! Boba guys is always a good move! The strawberry matcha is a classic. Great matcha and great fresh strawberries. I tried their seasonal drink, the sapin sapin. It was pretty good. The jack fruit was a little too over powering. Definitely not a chuggable drink. Regardless, boba is based on preferences. The Burrow is a great place for boba!

Strictly for customer service today or complete lack of it... Came with my team (17 people) after lunch for more treats and about half of us ended up ordering drinks. One person on my team never heard her name called and when she went to the counter to ask, they claimed that they had called her name "at least twice" and with no reply, they dumped it. What?! There is no way that 16 other people did not hear her name. But even if we did, why would you toss the drink so soon? Yeah, sure, quality of the drink is a reason but I don't actually think their cited reason is valid or true this time. The reason why I feel so strongly about this is that multiple teammates placed and received his/her order after this teammate. If they had saw an additional drink waiting on the counter, I'm quite certain they would have also pointed it out. By far, the most egregious thing was that Burrow REFUSED to remake the drink or refund the drink. My teammate was SOL and Burrow seemed perfectly content with this resolution. Remarkable! At no point was she rude or making a scene and yet she was essentially being told this whole situation was her fault. She was genuinely sad and was about to just walk away. We ended up buying the drink for her again but yes, that also means this drink was about $16 at the end of the day. Ridiculous.

First time trying this place in Brisbane. Since it was my first time I really didn't know what to ordered. I ordered the matcha mango drink which I didn't really like. It didn't look like the menu. Plenty of street parking. No seating so if you plan on chatting you will need to look for near by seating or sit at car. This place is a scan to order place. There weren't anyone else so we didn't have to wait for our drinks which was good for us. If you are in this area and looking for a boba place you can give this place a try.

    Ube latte with aloe jelly
    Wincy Y.

The Burrow is basically one of many Boba Guys locations they have. I ordered online for pickup, and got the ube latte with aloe jelly. The ube latte was very light, with unique hints of cinnamon and coconut. The aloe jelly was a good pairing, adding a slight crunch to the drink. I do wish that they would let you adjust the ice and sugar levels for this drink, just like with other drinks they have. Although the price is a bit high, I would recommend a try!

    OG boba guys!

FINALLY was able to try the famous OG Boba Guys (The Burrow) which doesn't help that it's about 7 mins away from our hotel :) Tried one of their top 5 favorites: Strawberry Matcha Latte with boba. I loved how it wasn't super sweet and the matcha added was just right. The strawberry puree that was added, was the right amount of sweet balance to go along with the almond milk based drink. Friendly window service, and pretty quick turn around, about less than 5 mins at most. Parking: street parking, but fairly easy to find. Payments: they take G Pay/Apple Pay, cards, etc... I'll definitely will be back to try another drink before I leave back to so. cal. Thanks for the amazing boba!

First impressions aren't always accurate. When I first tried Boba Guys in 2018, I didn't think their drinks were all that special. At the time I was judging solely on their black milk tea. Their boba pearls were just okay and their grass jelly was a laughable attempt. I couldn't understand what the hype was about. Fast forward to recent months and I grew curious about the brand again. Whoever is their marketing or design person deserves a raise because I saw their special cups for sakura season with the cute little cherry blossoms and it was enough to make me decide to give them a second chance. My experience this time around was MUCH different than three years ago. A couple key differences is that their only topping is boba now (no grass jelly) and that they don't allow for ice/sugar adjustments. I was a little apprehensive about the latter because I'm the type of person to get no ice and 25% sugar in my boba drinks. But to my surprise, the drinks aren't overly sweet! I really enjoyed their strawberry matcha latte and strawberry tea fresca! I got the black sesame latte for my mom who really enjoyed it. I did taste it as well, but it's not my cup of tea (pun intended). Their boba pearls are honestly like just alright like 8/10. But their drinks! Delicious and good quality!!! Happy to share that Boba Guys is one of my favorite boba places now.

    Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte

Time & Date: 1pm Thursday, 4/22/21 Order by: Walk in Payment: Apple Pay Items Ordered: Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte ($6.90) I ordered the 24 oz brown sugar hojicha latte with whole milk + boba and this is probably the best drink I've ever had from Boba Guys. The hojicha taste is very in your face -- super toasty & nutty with some grainy texture. I'm a matcha person but I think this drink just put me on hojicha lol! You can't customize sugar level for this drink, but the level was okay for me (I'm someone who usually orders 50% sugar)! I notice that the pearls were smaller than usual today, and more tough. It was pretty hard actually, not like the super soft pearls you usually get. Perhaps the pearls weren't cooked long enough today... but the drink compensated for that! Will be back! 10/10~

Can someone tell me If they are open on Sunday? I thought i saw somewhere that they are.

They are closed on Sunday's, but are open on Saturday's! (:

The burrow? They broke away from Boba Guys?

Incorrect! The burrow was Boba Guys first initial store they ever opened up before branching out into what is now known as "Boba Guys". This is from what I've been told.

    Where can you order online?

    https://boba-guys.square.site/home

Why does it called Burrow and not boba guy?

What are you taking about? Shhhh!! 🤫 They aren't boba guys! 😉 I think it's because it is their distribution location, and not a full store carrying all menu items. The burrow appears to be where their catering orders originate from as well. I… Read more

Did the hours change? Are they open past 4pm now?

Yes! They are open until 6:00 now.

Wait time to get the order can be anywhere from 12-20 minutes sometimes. Note, prices are similar to what you can expect in the South Bay/San Jose area. We had the Coconut Water with Matcha Cloud $6.50 & the Biscoff Jasmine Milk Tea Cheese Mousse $6.50. Both tasted decent and not too heavy even at 50% sweetness with 50% ice. Cup size is good. A friend is a frequent diner here with his family…read more Seeing his numerous FB posts, I am often reminded of how long it's been since my last visit to Hong Kong. With a recent boom in HK street food especially cha chaan teng (tea and meal eateries), I suggested meeting several friends for an early dinner here. This place has been here a while, before the ongoing trend emerged. I arranged a meetup with a peninsula friend to meet there for an early midweek dinner before 6 pm. They have a private parking lot so that was not an issue. Walking in, we noticed the order station and menu on the left (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=VXnwmT7l57Wujd4yMeyvlQ) and a cooking area to the right (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=h5fu-B6JPAxM-VFU_pDTYw). As we studied the menu, the discussion among us three was that we wanted to eat multiple menu items. After a few minutes, we ordered our meals one by one, adding two appetizers to share. After my friend first paid for our meal, he chose a table in the middle dining area. I noticed a water station near the cashier and brought three plastic cups for my friends and me. With this being a somewhat cafeteria style format, a gal brought our food a short time later. Here's what I tried: Appetizers, shared 1. Popcorn chicken (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=W18wgtSMHw0g-EqytrQpDA) - Very solid version as this came temperature hot. It was spot on crispy and the white pepper seasoning very true to the recipe. Nice that they provided skewer sticks and we ate barely half if this with the generous portion. 2. XO sauce mini rice noodles (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=uLIWGlflOZKINVlxMoS7PA) - For a mini, I was surprised with the food amount. Unlike dim sum house versions, the ingredients are not stir-fried and merely mixed with the sauce mostly on top with a soy sauce oil mix lining the bottom. It was tasty and a good-sized serving. Main 3. Beef stew wonton noodle soup (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=F8_RGDn1cEfD1emWUdaWvA) - I forget whether there were four or five relatively large wonton dumplings with the thinner chewy egg noodles here. The beef stew pieces were tender and seasoned well making for a tasty bowl. The bowl size that I thought was smaller actually held a good amount of food where I just had enough stomach space to finish it. There were plenty of white turnip pieces (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=-HvCGJqyvrNOKF7cgacOog). This is a hearty meal. When we arrived, there were only two tables of diners (couples) as we found our table. By the time we left, there were families and couples there and the dining room was about half full. There was a steady flow of takeout orders being picked up too. A family of three sat at a mah jong table (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=xGkgRuG-bFIBlDaHkUyszA) but merely to play with the tiles. With the recent gained popularity in mah jong events and the like, the theme here was ahead of its time. I will probably return with friends to try other menu items and perhaps save room for a drink or dessert too.

Mine was the sampan jook (porridge) which was $18. Consistency was right but it didn't have any seafood so wasn't a true sampan porridge at all. Sampan is literally the flat wooden boat that fisherman would take out in the HK pier, and the jook would be made with whatever they catch, typically shrimp, squid and so forth. Here, there were pieces of char siu and some pig skin. Tasty but not sampan and not worth the marked up price. My husband said his char siu was good, but roast pork not edible. Boba was not bad at all.
