The sweet potato pancakes were really good, and the steak and eggs surprised me because the steak portion was huge and cooked really well. The avocado toast was also delicious, and even something simple like the eggs and cheese tasted amazing -- they really know how to make good scrambled eggs there. I also thought it was really cool that they had a little French market section where you can shop for French products while you're there. Most of the mimosas were really good too, and on Sundays they're only $5, which was a nice bonus. The wait time was definitely long -- over an hour and a half -- but honestly, the food and overall experience made it feel worth it in the end!

Everything is clean and intentionally places, it almost feels like dining in someone's really nice sunroom. The service was great. Molly took care of us and she was helpful, quick and efficient. Would definitely look for her again on my next visit. The food. First of all I underestimated the portions. The Red Potato Hash is enormous. Really great flavor but I barely made it halfway through the bowl. I also ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. They're probably my favorite thing on the menu. Taste, texture, consistency, all perfect. Tried their crepes for the first time and loved it as well. As someone who drinks coffee daily, they make really good lattes. The salted honey was that perfect balance of sweet and salty without being too much of either. This is the perfect breakfast/brunch restaurant. They're consistent, personable and efficient. Can't wait to come back and check out some new items.

Not having to deal with parking, traffic, or circling for a space is a luxury -- and being able to walk off dinner and dessert afterward might be the best part of all. I'm a total Francophile when it comes to French cuisine. From seafood towers to escargot, tartare, pâté, bone marrow, and soufflés -- you name it, I'm all in. And this restaurant does not disappoint. My very first visit was just for pastries, and I was blown away by how beautiful the restaurant is. It truly gives off all the vibes of Paris. If you haven't been, put it on your list -- and plan to eat your way through the city. This place captures that spirit beautifully right here in Charlotte. I've been here several times now and realized I failed to write a review earlier, so this is me catching up. I've worked my way through a good portion of the menu, and there are some clear standouts: * The Brussels (lardon) salad is outstanding -- rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced * The escargot in puff pastry is decadent and absolutely delicious * The mussels are consistently exquisite * The charcuterie and pâté selections are ideal for sharing * And the chicken confit -- oh my goodness -- sprinkled with flaky sea salt, shatteringly crisp on the outside, incredibly succulent on the inside. It's truly to die for. Don't be surprised if guests at the table start fighting over the last piece. One thing I especially appreciate is the value, even though the menu can appear pricey at first glance. This is a restaurant that really shines when you dine with a group. Sharing dishes family-style allows everyone to experience more of the menu without being stuck with just one entrée -- and without leaving with a mountain of leftovers. There's no fee for splitting dishes, and the staff are more than happy to accommodate sharing, which makes the experience feel welcoming and relaxed. That's exactly how I love to dine -- passing plates, tasting everything, and enjoying the meal together. The cocktail program is strong, and they have a full bar, plus an impressive dessert and espresso selection. The patisserie in the morning is a gem, and having a dedicated pastry chef really shows in the quality of the desserts. Favorites so far: * Apple Tarte Tatin * Crème brûlée * Canelés * And their birthday presentation -- a small plate with a candle -- is a lovely touch that makes celebrations feel special The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the waitstaff are knowledgeable and professional, and the service has been consistently excellent. I also appreciate the large outdoor patio -- I love dining al fresco, and the atmosphere here makes it easy to linger. Bottom line: This is one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. It's consistent, beautiful, and delivers a true French dining experience without pretense. Knock on wood, I've never had a bad meal here. Be curious about food. Get out there and eat your way through Charlotte. Explore it. Bon appétit.

Although they ran out of many foods this Mother s Day which was a bit off puting the food in general was okay. We started with the charcuterie board which had pickles, olives, various flavorful cheeses, salami, prosciutto, salted nuts and glazed walnuts and 4 pieces of artisan bread. But there was no spreads such as mustard and no napkins or utensils other than a plate to enjoy our appetizer. They were brought once I asked for them. Restaurant wasn't full of patrons at that time I noted. Waitress was attentive when not too busy and friendly. I ordered a classic cheeseburger for my main course w a side of brussel sprouts in a champagne vinaigrette. They came quickly once I alerted the waitress we were ready to order our main course. The sprouts were under cooked and I had to saw at them w my knife and fork. My classic burger was good but they don't ask you how you want it cooked. We ordered desert but they were out of my selection as well as many other items I was interested in. So we just ordered coffee and they were out of cream just had a few creamers of French Vanilla and substitute sugar. But I would return for the Traminette wine and the deck views! Very nice! Plus they have live music occasionally. This place is off the beaten track but it is on Google Maps so you should be able to find the place but you will loose signal once you arrive but they have free wifi at the restaurant. So when you are looking for a casual, slightly romantic place to hang out, stop in. Everyone is friendly including the dogs! You can bring your dog if you plan on sitting on the deck just let restaurant know ahead of time. And if its Mother's Day you may receive a fresh rose to take home!

I had a French 75 (since it's a French restaurant, seemed like the call) which had Theo house made pea-lavender syrup. It was excellent! Delicious, strong coffee too.

Flavorful, with both very savory and yet light ingredients which made it perfect for an entree. Not too dense but also filling enough for the wait until dinner. Then the salmon a la plancha. The salmon was cooked to perfection and not overdone, which is unfortunately often the case. The perfect portion along with the tomatoes and kale to keep it rich, but still somehow light. Ended the night with their signature (and recommended) le citron lemon dessert which was to die for. The waitress also brought me some madelines with an adorable little personalized message to complement my little mom's solo night out. 10 out of 10 and certainly can't wait to come again!

I liked how much cheese there was on top. Duck A L'Orange (3/5): The duck wasn't that great. The skin wasn't crispy and it was a little too gamey. There was also very little meat in general. The orange sauce was runnier than I expected and very subtle. Good amount of potatoes and green beans which were solid.
