Stopped by for cocktails before heading to an As game. I ordered a watermelon margarita. I am sometimes skeptical of flavored margaritas because they have a tendency to become overly sweet and sour. This was truly an exception - not too sweet, just a hint of tart on the finish, and absolutely refreshing! After the game, we returned for one more drink and a souvenir shirt from the bar. Must stop if you are in Old Town Sac! The Drinks are tasty and made well. The food is great. The bartenders are awesome. The chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. Came here on a Saturday night with 6 friends and bombarded Scott, the bartender and it was wonderful. Lol. Scott handled it so well and banged out all of our drinks and food orders with efficiency and a welcoming demeanor. Not only was he super friendly and amazing at his job, he made bomb ass drinks! I got a Espresso martini and a Mexican kamizake. Both super flavorful and balanced with a good amount of alcohol! My friend got the watermelon margarita and they muddled with fresh watermelon! The Last Stop Saloon is a cool place in Old Town Sacramento! It fits the Wild West feel of the area, while still feeling very modern and not super touristy. They have a good looking drink menu with a variety and something for everyone. They have a few beers on tap too, and I enjoyed the one I ordered. There are some cool arcade games in the back, which could be a lot of fun if you're with a group of friends are as a cute date. They're open everyday until 2AM, which is cool if you're on vacation visiting the area or just looking for a place to go when many other places in the area close early on weekdays. The photobooth here is also super fun! The bartender was super friendly too. If back in Downtown Sacramento, I would definitely return to the Last Stop! My Boo took me here for my birthday yesterday and it was middle of the day. We both are very busy people and didn't have a lot of time to spend with each other. He was on a cleanse So he ordered Seltzer with like and lemon it was pretty good for Seltzer water lol. They updated the place from the previous owners. I think if I'm not mistaken, he said 6 months they'd been open. The place was pretty empty but it was middle of the day. I ordered Mango habanero chicken wings and Walk on the wild cider, which is a hot drink from their winter speciality menu and it's really good. The staff is friendly and courteous. They told us they took it over and it was fairly new. I did notice that they were a lot more talkative with the other individuals that came in and asked questions but it could be because we were interested in playing pool and weren't as close to the bar. Pool is a dollar 50 per game and we also played Pac-Man. There's a quarter machine so you can put dollars in and get quarters. Or you can use your credit card to play games like Pin ball. It was fun! I had fun. I'd like to come back and see it during the evening and see if the ambiance is a little different. read more

The best bar in Old Sac, hands down. The owner is cool, all the bartenders are easy to talk to and always super friendly and helpful. This has turned into my go to spot for all occasions. The elote egg rolls are elite, and they have some great holiday cocktails.
