It's a very popular spot at 8:00 am on a Wednesday with retirees, many of whom are noticeably regulars. They have your coffee shop basics--muffins (which my kids enjoyed), pastries, oatmeal cups, and some desserts. They also have a variety of burrito offerings from a place called Sergio's I think. I got the bean burrito and it was delicious. As far as coffee, I got a black drip coffee. I am a self-styled coffee connoisseur (I like light roast if I can get it) and their coffee was average. What I didn't like was the service. The lady taking our order haphazardly tossed my kids muffins on the counter and was cold and short with me on my coffee order. She didn't tell me where I could pick up my order and she didn't call it out when it was ready. I was trying to tend to my kids so it would have been nice to know what to do. Eventually I checked what was the likely pick up area and a to go box was there. I wasn't sure if it was mine so I asked the lady making espressos if it was a bean burrito. She looked at me confused and said "[I] don't know, it was the only burrito back there." Good, that makes two of us who don't know. This place did its job for what we needed it for. I wouldn't be a regular if I lived here based on this experience.

I understand recipes and measurements exist, but it's frustrating to pay $10-15 for a drink and realize a large portion of what you're buying is apparently ice. If removing the ice leaves the cup half empty, that doesn't feel like a customization--it feels like you're paying the same price for less product. I'm sure I'm not the only customer who finds this frustrating. Most people ordering "no ice" aren't expecting extra product; they're expecting the drink size they paid for. The interaction itself was disappointing, but the policy and lack of customer service from the tween staff is what really missed the mark.

They often come across as impatient, demanding, and looking for something to complain about, taking their frustration of life out on the staff. From what I've observed, that always reflects those customers' personalities not the employees or the service here. What stands out is how the staff handles it. They stay patient, friendly, and professional, even when they're being spoken to disrespectfully. I got their Chai Latte with vanilla, no espresso shots. I also got it iced. I also tried the lavender cold foam. I couldn't taste the lavender very well. I like how the lavender cold foam makes the drink frothy and creamy. I would get this drink again, although I was surprised it was not sweeter. Service was quick and easy. Cashier was nice.

Stopped by the Coffee Plantation to get some computer work done…read more The cafe was easy to get to with plenty of parking (the plaza itself in has lots of parking). Inside, there was plenty of seating for those who are casually stopping in and those looking to work on their computers. There are lots of electrical plugs near seating for that purpose! - which is a HUGE factor for me. The menu was large - both with food and drink options. In my opinion, the coffee itself was not my favorite, at all. I'd try a different drink next time I go. I am assuming the culprit was the sugar free vanilla syrup, so I won't recommend that. I'd be excited to pair another drink with one of their pastries on my next trip - they looked fantastic! A huge plus - they have lot of staff on duty and are regularly keeping up with cleaning the cafe - INCLUDING their bathrooms, which was a pleasant add on to this experience.

The plants, lighting, green tiles, signage, etc. are all so cheerful and welcoming! Also, it isn't a loud coffee shop. Those two factors alone make this a great place to hang out. I ordered a plain, hot latte to more easily taste the quality and asked for a real cup, because it is better for the environment and adds to the experience of having a handcrafted coffee drink. First, I was disappointed that it didn't have any latte art. Second, it was just okay. I mostly tasted the cream; the coffee flavor was a bit elusive. My friend and I shared an avocado toast. It wasn't bad, but needed more acid. I would come back for the atmosphere and would just order differently.
